Chapter 6
The next morning, Justin woke up and saw Ashley comfortably laying next to him on her stomach facing him. He couldn't help but smile and caress her cheek as her beauty captured his heart. Ashley slowly awoke to find Justin smiling at her making her lightly blush at the attention he was giving her. “Good morning beautiful” he said as she slid closer and placed her head against his chest, “Good morning,” she whispered while sighing. “Today we head home,” Justin said bringing the very obvious to light. Ashley looked up at him and shook her head, “I don't want to go, can't we just stay in bed,” she mumbled.
Justin laughed at the small tantrum she was throwing in his arms and loved that she wanted nothing more but to lay there in his arms all day, “I don't want to go either but you know that if we don't go home our parents will begin to worry and then there will be drama...” Justin said lying on his back with a sigh, “It's just better if we go home” he said pouring down reality on the both of them.
Ashley finally nodded her head and leaned over and kissed Justin on his lips softly and then checked her phone to see what time it was, “It's almost noon,” she said putting her phone down on the nightstand and then looking over to Justin, “When do you want to leave?” she asked truthfully, not wanting to hear the answer.
Justin sighed once more and sat in silence for a moment as he thought everything over, “We should probably leave after packing our bags,” he said sitting up in bed as he caressed Ashley's cheek with a smile.
The two of them climbed out of bed and slowly dressed themselves and walked out to the living-room of the cabin and decided that they were both going to take as much time as they possibly could before heading home.
“Breakfast?” Ashley asked with a smile as she skipped into the kitchen looking through the refrigerator for something that the two of them could eat, “It looks like it's either waffles or oatmeal,” Ashley said sticking her tongue out at their meal options.
Justin thought about what would take the most time and laughed at themselves, “Are we really trying our best to stall this from happening?” he asked Ashley who shook her head with a smile on her face. “No if we were trying our best to stall the moment, we would find something to eat on the way home,” she said with a laugh, “I guess we're really bad at this,” she said closing the fridge and leaning over the counter as Justin placed his lips on hers one last time.
The two of them walked into their separate rooms and began to pack their bags and met in the living-room, “We should try and come back to the cabin anytime we have a break” Ashley said looking up at Justin. “I think that could be arranged,” Justin said as he picked up her back and walked them out to the car placing them in the trunk.
The two drove home hand in hand feeling the warm breeze flow through their hair, soaking in their last moments together before facing their parents.
The two had finally arrived at home when the sun was beginning to set. Justin pulled up to the driveway once again to his father’s Malibu beach house and turned his car off.
Justin looked over at Ashley with sad eyes and grabbed her hand and kissed it softly making her smile, “I know we can't really talk about what happened between you and I while we were gone but I just wanted to say again that I really had a good time being there with you” Justin said before making sure that no one was around and kissed Ashley one last time.
Ashley pulled away after feeling her body grow warm from her head down to her toes and smiled at Justin, “I had a great time at the cabin with you too, but you're right...we can't talk about this again at least not until we are alone and no one can see or hear us,” she said as she caressed his cheek and climbed out of the car and then to the trunk to grab her bag. Justin reached in and touched her hand softly as if he was saying goodbye to her.
As Justin and Ashley made their way up the driveway to the front door with their heads hung in silence, Justin's new step-mother and father were standing at the doorway, waiving hello as the two made their way to the door, “I hope the two of you had a good time relaxing and getting away from here for a while?” Mandy asked with a smile on her face.
“The view was beautiful and I feel so relaxed” Justin said smiling as he stood next to his father, “and it was perfect timing for Justin and I to get to know one another,” Ashley said with a smile. “That's good to hear, come on in you two...dinner is ready,” Justin's father said as he put his arm around his son and walked inside as Justin and Ashley looked at one another, making a silent vow to keep their secret to themselves.

Chapter 1
“Please brush your hair before we arrive.” Allison’s mother, former B-movie actress and cruise line singer Margot Simon, dug through her purse with her available hand and tossed her daughter a comb.
“I want Richard to see just how beautiful you are. First impressions are important.”
Allison sat in the passenger seat of her mother’s newly acquired Camaro, watching out the window as the homes of the neighborhood were slowly growing larger and larger. They had perfectly tended to lawns and cobblestone driveways, a fantasy image Allison had never expected to be walking into.
Margot Simon had met Richard McGee six months prior as she was performing on a cruise ship for extra money, and they wed in secrecy. Allison had never been introduced to this man who was legally now her stepfather.
She knew very little about him: he was a self-made billionaire, had a son in the military, and Allison and her mother were about to change their lives forever by moving into his home.
Allison combed her hair at her mother’s request, and the car pulled into a long circular driveway that Allison suspected was the home of her new life. She grew nervous and increasingly excited as she examined the immense house.
They stepped out of the car, and a shorter man with graying hair and a Bloody Mary came out and greeted them.
He immediately walked up to Margot and embraced her. “My darling, welcome. I’ve been anxiously waiting for you all morning.”
“Gross,” Allison thought to herself.
The man let go of Margot and looked over at Allison, his face softened to a smile.
“You must be Allison. You look just like your mother. It is a pleasure to meet you.”
“Likewise.” Allison stuck her hand out to Richard, and instead of a handshake, he grabbed it and kissed it gently.
“Let’s get your things inside then. Would anyone care for a beverage? Oh, I’m sorry, Allison, are you old enough to drink?’
They headed to the front door of the house, followed by suited men carrying their few packed bags, and Allison sighed.
“Yes, sir, I’m twenty three years old. Just graduated college last spring.”
“Oh, yes, that’s right! Your mother tells me you received a fine arts degree. Shame you can’t do much with that in the real world.”
Allison opened her mouth for a rebuttal, and instead fell speechless as Richard swung the door open to his mansion. Her black and white life was suddenly painted with color, and she couldn’t remember the most mundane worries that plagued her daily.
As she shamelessly admired the church style windows and delicately spiraling staircase that led to the upper floors, Richard and her mother disappeared to the kitchen for drinks.
“I could get used to this,” Allison whispered to herself.
The next morning was the first one in several years that Allison could remember not waking up to an alarm clock. The sun through the window disturbed her from sleep, and she noticed silence. No bustling chatter from her mother. No sounds of footsteps. Pure, uninterrupted silence.
She made her way to the empty kitchen and found a note on the counter.
“Dear Allison,
Richard has surprised me with a month long honeymoon around the world! Don’t miss me too badly. Here is a credit card Richard left for you for whatever you need. Enjoy.
XoXo Mom.
P.S. Richard’s son is returning from his military training and should be arriving today. He swore to take care of you. Be nice to him, as he can be very strict! Don’t let me down!”
Chapter 2
Allison set the note down and shook her head. She couldn’t imagine abiding by another person’s rules at her age, let alone being taken care of.
She tried to brush it off and turned on the radio as she found a cupboard stuffed with cereal. Singing along and pouring herself a bowl of breakfast, she was disrupted by a startling, unfamiliar voice.
“What are you doing?” the voice barked.
Allison jumped and cornflakes spilled on the floor. She stared at the strange, seemingly angry owner of the voice, and threw her spoon at him. “Intruder! Get out!”
As she turned to run for the screen door, he gently grabbed her arm, the spoon caught in his other hand.
“Calm down, Allison. I’m Max. Richard’s son.”
Allison relaxed and slowed her breathing. “I’m sorry. I knew that… just… you snuck up on me.”
He let out a quick laugh and a crooked grin. “I guess my army training was successful then.” Max released Allison’s arm, and she examined him.
He was not like the men she grew up with and studied with at school. He was clean and solid with sturdy posture. Allison had never seen someone with gray-blue eyes before. He reminded her of a 1950s greaser, a man who could make any woman swoon with delight.
Max looked around and threw up his arms. “What is this mess? Clean up those cornflakes you spilled. Right now.”
“Sir, yes, sir,” she giggled. “You have a broom?”
“This isn’t a joke, Allison. Please get down and clean them up by hand. You’ll save time, trust me. You don’t need a broom. ”
Mouth agape, she paused a moment then gave a ghostly nod, kneeling down to the floor.
“Oh… okay.”
Max began making chore lists for Allison. Waxing cars. Trash duty. Meal preparation. They were effortless tasks she could easily manage, yet she somehow always concocted excuses to receive assistance from Max.
He’d criticize each effort and order her to repeat. Beneath the eye rolls she’d throw at his remarks, she secretly fluttered with joy and blooming attraction at her tall and rigid stepbrother.
“Allison! This gym is a mess! Please come and re-clean it. By the way, I don’t like doing all this but your Mom has strictly told me to take care of you and make your more disciplined.”
Allison ran to Max’s voice and found him bent over the treadmill running his finger over one of the handles.
“This is filthy,” he said. “I thought you cleaned this yesterday.”
She approached him and examined where he was looking.
“I did. Sorry. I don’t mind cleaning it again.”
“You’ve got to stop this. Clean it correctly the first time and you will save time. Let me help you.”
Allison followed Max to the storage closet to retrieve the cleaners and rags. She stifled a smile at her successful attempt at receiving his help again. Max opened the door to the closet and stepped inside to look for the supplies, tilting his head from side to side looking for what he needed.
The streak-free chemicals were on the highest shelf, and as he reached up to grab a bottle, Allison stepped closer and touched his back gently in a hypnotic trance.
Upon realizing what she was doing, she gasped and pulled her hand away.
“I’m so sorry,” she said. “I thought there was a… a spider on your shirt.”
Max turned around and furrowed his brow at her for a moment. She held her breath, awaiting the scolding, and they stared at each other in silence. Allison in fear, Max in intimidation.
Another apology was erupting from her vocal chords, and he pushed past her.
“Let’s continue,” he said.
Startled at first, Allison was unsure what to do. She panicked that she allowed herself to reach out and touch him, but she knew she could barely help it. She desperately wanted to know how tight his body felt, how warm his skin was. She was ravenous and full of curiosity. Where did this yearning come from?
Max led the way back to the gym. Although it had happened just seconds prior, Allison was praying Max would forget about the whole thing. Maybe he already had. No way would he ever return the intense, taboo feelings she held.
Starting at the leg press machine, Max signaled for Allison to come over.
“Please do as I do,” he said, making tiny circles on the machine’s metal with a cloth. Allison watched and repeated the act.
With her arm stretched upward to reach the highest point, she imagined Max slowly approaching her body, leaning in and quietly setting his lips on her arm, biting and licking softly.
His breath started deepening and Allison whipping around to face him.
“You make me so wild,” she imagined him whispering, adjusting her shorts and unzipping his jeans.
There was silence. Allison could hear her heart beating nervous blood through her veins as she looked over at the real-life Max who was checking the time on his watch.
“Hurry up, Allison. You still have the guest bathrooms to mop.”
“I’m sorry, I’m hurrying.” She bent over the machine and began wiping the seat. She couldn’t help imagining Max straddling it and pressing inside her as she bounced slowly on top of his hips, releasing small cries of pleasure and nirvana.
She accidentally moaned as her fantasy crept to the forefront of her brain, she could almost feel him hard and ready, deep in her body.
“You okay?” Max asked. Allison shook her head, knocking away the tempting thought and created a lie.
“Yeah, sorry, my back’s a little sore from cleaning. Can we take a break?”
“No breaks, silly girl. You’re under my control.”
“I wish I was under your control,” she mumbled to herself.
“What was that you said?”
“Nothing,” Allison giggled nervously. “Tell me what you want me to do now.”
