Once her house was clean, she had a shower and got ready to go in and take over the shift from Angela. She was grateful that she had offered to do the morning shift because she loved her sleep-ins, but it worked for both of them. Angela was a single mother studying to be a massage therapist. Maybe she should hit her up for one, her body had been stiff for the last day or two.

As she was driving towards her store, she wondered why her stalker hadn’t sent her anything more. It had been almost a month since she received the box. Although she didn’t want whatever was sent, she wanted to know who was making her life hell. She went through everyone she had possibly pissed off, but came back with nothing.

Several cars were parked out front of her store; sales were going great for her, especially after her mother told all her friends that her daughter had opened a lingerie shop, her store had people in it every day, even requesting that she order certain things in for them, too.

She was even thinking of adding a collection of toys to her store. Several people had asked where they could get some, and she referred them to Stacy’s shop, but she was closing down due to family issues. She had run into her one day, and Stacy told her this and asked if she would like to make her an offer on the inventory that she still had.

She loved Stacy’s shop and even wanted to buy some items for herself, but never got around to it. Maybe she could as a surprise for Dom. She giggled to herself.
Could I actually do that in front of him?
Probably not, but the thought made her blush.

“Why are you blushing?” Angela asked her as she walked through the front door.

“No reason.”

Shaking her head, Angela grinned. “You were thinking about someone, weren’t you?”

“Nope,” she replied as she walked past her into the back room.

“Yes, you were. Who was it, and what were you thinking about? You can’t leave me hanging, Chantal.”

Placing her bag on her desk, she lied, “I wasn’t thinking about anyone.”

“Well, what were you thinking about then?”

She never gives up.
“Fine. I was thinking about something to do with Dominic.”

“Damn, that guy gets me hot and flustered.” She giggled.

He did that to all women. No matter the age, every woman in range swooned over him. She could not blame them, not one bit. She had done the exact thing from afar, and now that they were seeing each other, he still had that effect on her.

They had no plans for tonight, other than being together. Maybe she could surprise him with something. She knew there was an order coming in of new designer lingerie. She crossed her fingers, hoping that something in there jumped out at her for tonight.

Right as she was getting ready to head into the back to look for something, her phone rang. She smiled to herself, thinking it was Dom ringing her, but it wasn’t.

“Chantal.”

“Um, hi, Joel. How have you been?”

“I’ve been good. I’m in town for a week, wondered if you wanted to meet up for a drink?”

“Sounds good, where do you want to meet?”

“Joey’s would be good, have a drink then several games of pool. I’ll be meeting some of my buddies there.”

“Ok, how about tonight at seven.”

“Great, see you then, Chantal.”

Dom had an appointment that would run late into tonight, so she could still go out and meet Joel, and then be home before he arrived. She wasn’t hiding anything from him. Joel was a friend, and though they had slept together several times, they were
only
friends now. So there was no reason to inform Dom of her new plans for tonight. She never asked what he was doing, so he had no reason to do the same to her.

She didn’t sell just lingerie. Some of the clothing she had could be worn out, so as she flicked through the racks in the storeroom, she tried to find something to wear tonight, that she could also wear for Dom when she got home.

Her hand landed on a black corset-like top. It wasn’t a true corset, and was easier to get into. She could team it up with her denim skirt, and then add her knee-high boot and she was good to go. Easy.

Removing it from the rack, she placed it in a bag beside hers, and walked out and paid for it. She only paid the amount that the manufacturer had charged her, but she still made sure to pay for anything she took from the store.

As the day went on, Angela decided to stay on extra hours. Her mother was picking up her son, and she needed the money. When the final customer left, Chantal found a letter near the back door. Frowning down at it and hoping it wasn’t from her stalker, she opened it with shaky hands.

Pulling out the card that was inside, she read it.

Miss Winters,

You have been invited by one of our members to attend a private party at Inquisition on the 9
th
of April. You will need to bring this invitation to be allowed in. Hope to see you here.

The Manager, Ryan Watson.

Ok, well it seemed Dom had some plans for them this week. She was curious about the club, in more ways than one. She had always wanted to go inside of one and see what all the fuss was about. And now that she had, she wanted to know and learn more about it. It had scared her at first, but after watching Dom wield that whip on that young girl right in front of her, she wanted to feel what she had felt. She was afraid to ask for it from Dom, but obviously, he could see in her eyes what she wanted.

The party was tomorrow night. She needed something special for the night. Hurrying out of the shop, she jumped into her car and drove home. She did not have time to buy anything new, so she had to go through her closet to see what she had. She was slightly scared and excited at the same time about being back at that club.

Just the thought that Dom invited her to the party and that he would be there in his element, made her wet. Her insides were flipping with excitement over what would happen tomorrow night.

Pulling up in her driveway, she raced inside and had a quick shower. Standing in her room in only a towel, she looked at the time and saw still had 30 minutes before she had to meet Joel at the bar. She had tonight’s outfit all picked out and lying on the end of the bed. Grabbing a handful of clothes that were hanging up, she tossed away what would not fit with the club.

She had ten outfits left that would work for the party. Maybe she should actually ask Dom what to wear. She shook her head and reached for her phone, sending a text off to Skylar.

Chantal: Can u meet me at my place in the morning. Need your advice on an outfit for tomorrow night! 

Skylar: What is happening tomorrow night?

Chantal: Party at a club that Dom invited me to.

Skylar: I’ll be there early in the morning, how does 8 sound?

Chantal: Perfect , see u then. Luv ya, bitch.

Skylar: Luv ya too, bitch 

Now that she had that all sorted, she dressed quickly, applied some make up, and opted to leave her hair down. She walked out and grabbed her bag. Swapping everything over from her large red bag to her small black one, she went into the kitchen and called a cab.

She wasn’t going to drive tonight. Usually when she and Joel hooked up, they both drank. So, unless he wasn’t drinking tonight, she would get a ride home in a cab.

She still didn’t know what she wanted to do for Dom tonight, but it would come to her, like it always did. Sliding into the cab once it arrived, she gave the driver the address to Joey’s and sat in the backseat, excited about tonight and tomorrow night, more so tomorrow. The way she was feeling about the party was like a kid in a candy store.

Well, maybe feeling a bit more than what a child felt in a candy store, but it was the same in a way. Grinning to herself, she really wished the party was tonight; she was too hyped up about it already. Maybe meeting up with Joel tonight might dull her anticipation for tomorrow.

Chapter 34

––––––––

A
s Dom was driving towards Chantal’s place, all he could think about was Chantal naked on her bed, waiting for him. The thought made him groan. He wanted her since he left her this morning. Really, he just wanted her all the bloody time. Every second he breathed he wanted her. His feelings for her were changing from lust, he wasn’t going to say love because they would never have that between them, but they definitely had lust, and a whole shit load of it.

As he was about to turn down her street his phone rang. Pulling off to the side, he answered, “Hello.”

“Dominic, it’s Lee Anne. I need you to come to the office. Some of the files are missing.”

“What do you mean, some of the files?”

“This morning when I was looking for the Lewis file, I noticed four files missing. I didn’t think much of it then. I thought one of the boys had them, but after they left I have searched everywhere for them and they’re not here, at all.”

“Calm down, Lee. I’m turning around now, I’ll see you soon.”

“I’m sorry Dominic for ruining your night, I know you had plans.,” she sobbed.

“It’s fine, she will understand.”

“Ok, I’ll see you when you get here, bye.”

Hanging up the phone, of all nights it had to be tonight. Dialling Chantal’s number, he listened as it went to voicemail.

“Chantal, I need to head back to the office, something has come up. Will make it up to you when I get back to your place.”

She must to still at the store that was usually the only time she did not answer her phone. Turning his truck around, he drove towards Elite Inc., wishing to the gods that it wasn’t going to be a long night.

C
hantal had not laughed so hard in her life like she was right now. Joel, herself, and five of his buddies were practically the only ones left at Joey’s, besides a table of women at the other end of the bar and the two locals.

Joel and his friend Wazza were playing the stupidest game of pool. They would try to distract each other with anything possible. It even came down to Wazza pulling down Joel’s pants. Although he didn’t care, she could tell that Wazza had a thing for him. Yep, he was gay as they came. She clicked with him as soon as they were introduced.

He stood a head taller than her, long black hair to his shoulders, tattoo sleeves, and had his lip and eyebrow pierced. She didn’t know at first that he was gay. The way he talked, walked, and acted you’d think he was a straight guy, but as soon as he had alcohol in his system, it all came out.

“Channy, can you distract him so I can win this round,” Wazza asked.

“No, you do it yourself, you can beat him.”

Lining up his shot, he pouted. “Please girl. I want the pot money, and to see him run naked around the parking lot when he loses.”

What was is about a gay guy pouting? It was sexy. Damn, why did he have to be gay? Walking up to him, she whispered conspiratorially, “What do you want me to do?”

Looking over at Joel as he spoke to Brandon, Wazza smiled wickedly. “Am I going to regret this?” she mumbled.

He laughed, “No, girl. Just a little fun and distraction, that is it. Nothing to serious, I’m sure you can handle it.”

Glancing around, she saw that two of the women at the end of the room had left, leaving two, and they were watching the game between Joel and Wazza. The two locals were still at the bar and the bartender. There was no one else around. Maybe she could think of something that would distract him.

“What are you going to do?”  Wazza questioned.

“You asked for a distraction, I’m giving you one,” she said as she walked over to the jukebox. Deciding on the song she wanted to dance to, she moved closer to the pool table area where a wooden post stood in the room.

Wazza raised his eyebrow towards her. Giggling, she leaned against the post and waited for the song to start. When the music kicked on, she slid down the post to the floor, and she ran her hands up her legs, to the top of her corset, before sliding her fingers across her chest.

Spreading her legs apart, grateful that she decided to wear a pair of tights under her skirt, she rolled her hips without her knees touching the ground. She heard something drop to the floor and she opened her eyes. Everyone was looking in her direction, including the bartender. She wasn’t ashamed but she was a little nervous about what she was doing. Pushing that to the back of her mind, she stood, slowly swaying her hips to the beat of the song, and spun around the post.

As came around the other side of the post, she held on with one hand and dipped backwards, her hair touching the ground. She wrapped one leg around the post and starting rubbing herself against it.

“Damn,” someone grunted.

“Holy shit.” Came from someone else.

Smiling, she turned around. The alcohol in her system made her more daring. Undoing the top three buttons of her shirt, she slid her hands down the front of her body and stopped them where the skirt ended. Joel had moved closer to her, as had three of his friends.

Wazza smiled towards her and sunk the last four balls left in play. Leaning against the post again, she slid up and down it as Joel stopped in front of her, his friends all behind him, all just as close. Joel reached out his hand towards her.

“If you touch her in any way, you will regret it.” Gasping, she spun around and found Joey standing there with the bouncer.
Seriously, I was just starting to have fun.

“Why are you growling?” she asked as she spun around again.

Stomping his way towards her, he snapped, “What the fuck are you doing, Chantal?”

“Having fun, what’s it to you, anyways? You don’t want to spend time with me because you’re too busy, and I need some fun.”

“So, you trying to fuck that post is fun? And I told you why I couldn’t spend time with you.”

“I wasn’t fucking it,” she growled back at him. Bloody party pooper.

“It bloody fuckin' looked like it to me. Fix yourself up, I’m taking you home.”

She ripped her arm out of his grip. “No, I’m staying with them!” she argued, pointing to the boys.

“No, you’re not. What do you think Dom is going to say when he hears about what you were doing tonight?”

“I don’t care, Joey. He doesn’t own me.”
