Taming Graeme (Taming the Billionaire) (43 page)

At Police Headquarters, Gavin sat facing two policeme
n
. “So, Mr. Flannigan, would you tell us again why you kept quiet about this illegal activity?”

“As I said, Sir, Tim approached me. I’m a coward. I told him I’d participate but I never did. You can see from my computer, all my trades were for the Bank. You can see that. But Tim has a nasty temper and I didn’t want a knife in my back. In fact, if you told him what I’ve done, he’d come after me and my old mom, I’m sure. I never touched the money he gave me, all fifty thousand pounds of it. It’s sitting in the account at the Bank. Of course they can have it back.”

“And you’re willing to testify if necessary?”

“If absolutely necessary, certainly. If he gets off though, me mom and I will have to leave Belfast and go into hiding...”

“I don’t think he’s going to get off, Mr. Flannigan, and since you’ve given us those emails he sent you, threatening you and we can trace them back to his computer, we would of course give you police protection.”

“Thanks, Sir. I’d just like to say I think Rolly and Flynn kind of felt they had no choice but to cooperate with Tim, they’ve both got young families, see?

“We see, Mr. Flannigan. We’re going to let you go now on your own recognition. Don’t leave Northern Ireland, will you?”

“No, Sir, I won’t.”

Rolly sat in front of two police officer

He and Flynn had been out for drinks with Gavin the night before. Gavin’s friend Roger was with them.

“You mean Tim fucked us out of two million, Gavin?”

“Yeah, Rog and I found out when I ran the backup on his computer, Thursday I told him how to wipe it, but I told him wrong, guys, so I could get Rog to check it all over which we did Saturday morning. We wiped it ourselves after we’d retrieved his records. He fucked us over big time and now it’s payback. If we play this right, he’ll never suspect we’re getting our revenge. If we play this right, the three of us will get suspended sentences and he’ll wear the main rap. And since the three of us followed my suggestion and put our money in safety deposit boxes in Dublin, we should ride this out. I’ve got a bit of a plan to recoup another two million as well, once we’re free and clear...”

“Righto, Gav. We’ve always known you’re the brains of this operation. What are we supposed to do?”

Gavin told them.

Being detained by the police was not part of Gavin’s plan, but they would follow the guidelines and stick to the story he’d given them in the event that the new owners found out about the rogue trading through Olivia’s examination of the trading records
.

“No, Sirs, I didn’t want to participate but Tim threatened my young daughter. I...I love my family, you know.”

“Yes and your computer shows some criminal activity, but not to the extent we expected.”

Flynn sat in front of two police officer
s
. “Yes, Sir, I did do those trades. I needed the money for my wedding. My wife has expensive tastes and I love her to bits. She’ll probably leave me now, after all this. And we’ve just had the baby. Isn’t there anything I can do to ease the situation?”

“You can turn witness for the prosecution, lad.”

“Yes, Sir.”

“Do you have any of the money left?”

“About a hundred grand. It’s in my account at the Bank. I guess the Bank will get it, eh?”

“The Bank will get it, but if you cooperate with us, we’ll see if the judge won’t show some leniency toward you. But only a hundred grand? What did you do with the rest?”

“Tim said we’d only made a quarter million each after expenses. I paid for the wedding, bought a great engagement ring and took Patricia on an African safari for our honeymoon, then put the down payment on our house. That all came to about a hundred and fifty grand.”

“Our records indicate you should have received about two million, Flynn.”

“That dirty rotten double-crosser!”

Tim and his solicitor sat in front of two police me
n
.

“I tell you it wasn’t my idea. It was Gavin’s.”

“Your computer tells us another story, Tim. You did seventy five percent of the rogue trades yourself, and the money is in a dummy account you set up. And more is in your Swiss bank account, isn’t it? We found evidence of that account on the backup files, Mr. O’Rourke.”

“Mr. O’Rourke and I need to talk,” said the solicitor. “Perhaps you could have a word and let me know what leniency would be shown if Mr. O’Rourke admits guilt and transfers the thirty five thousand pounds he has left in Switzerland back to the Bank?”

“Thirty five thousand pounds? More like four million isn’t it?”

“No, Sir. Mr. O’Rourke has a bad online gambling habit. I’m sure if he surrenders his personal computer from home to you, you’ll find evidence of where the money went...”

The solicitor and Tim sat in a room by themselves. “Tim, I know this guy Roger who will doctor your laptop to seem as if you’ve gambled everything away. It’ll cost you a hundred grand, and I want a hundred as well to get you off, but that’ll still leave you with nearly three million.”

“Do it, just do it. Damn, how did Gavin make himself look innocent?”

“Maybe he knows Roger as well, Tim.”

“Nah, Gavin’s not that smart.

TWENTY SIX

Gavin and Olivia landed in London at half past fiv
e
.

“Why don’t we go straight to The Club and grab a bite to eat there, pet?” suggested Graeme. “You can sit in the office with Michael and watch on the closed circuit television while I do my dog and pony show...”

Linda smiled at her as she and Graeme entered The Club. After the four of them shared a meal, Michael led Olivia to the office, and turned on the television and changed the channel so they could watch the class.

They saw Graeme stop in one of the private rooms and pick out a riding crop. His demeanour was once again cold, hard, oh so dominant.

Olivia realized with a start that it had been a long time since she’d seen that side of him. He’d been different lately. Oh, he was still very much a Dom, controlling everything that concerned her, but the coldness was missing now, when they were alone. Even in the training room, the coldness was gone. Yes, he was still totally in control, but he was kinder, somehow.
Or maybe she was just used to it now....

Michael hugged her, and told her, “Your Dom is a bloody fool, kitten, not committing to you. If you ever need a shoulder to cry on, I’m here.”

She just smiled at him. “We’re ok, Michael, really. I have no expectations, you see. He was very clear from Day One about the parameters of our relationship. He told me the first night that our relationship is all about sex, not romance.”

“Don’t you want more, kitten?”

“I’m his pet, Michael, not his lover. They are two different things, aren’t they?”

“Sometimes, kitten, they are the same thing. I feel that Linda is my lover as well as my pet. When we play, she’s my pet. When we’re living our day to day life, she’s my lover.”

They watched as Graeme continued to instruct the class on the proper etiquette they must follow with their Masters. His expectations were so much higher than Michael’s.  He was strict, so strict, and allowed no leniency. Every girl there felt his crop three or four times. Linda stole a rueful look at the camera and winked at her friend.

Finally, just before the class was to finish, Graeme reached behind him and took a black velvet case from the table. He held the case in his left hand. He motioned the girls to come close to him and kneel in proper stance.

“This year, we are instituting a new tradition. Each of you will have the opportunity to offer yourselves to a Dom, should you have decided someone is worthy of being your Master. Normally, I do not advise a young woman to follow this path, but this year, there is one among you that Michael and I feel would benefit most by taking only one master. Some women are meant to serve only one master. My own pet is such a woman. I am going to ask each of you some questions now.

“You, Jenesse,” and Graeme pointed to the girl on the right end of the row, “Are you thinking to expand your horizons by exploring your limits with the Doms at The Club, or are you of the opinion that one Dom would suit you best?”

“If it pleases you, Sir, I know that it would be best for me to gain experience as a sub. I expect to take several months meeting and training with the members of The Club until I meet the one that I can best serve.”

“Michael and I agree, Jenesse, and we have arranged that Dom Silver will take you under his wing, and monitor your progress over the next three months. He will assess your choices of training partners, and watch over you. You have a tendency to overestimate your limits, and we must continue to teach you that the safe word is there to protect you and there is no shame in using it. It is our duty to protect you from harm.”

Jenesse bowed to the floor in respect and then when she sat back up, she said, very prettily, “Thank you, Dom. I will respect and honour Dom Silver as I continue to grow into perfection.”

Olivia saw Linda roll her eyes. Obviously this girl must be a bit of a brown nose...

Graeme pointed to the next girl in line. “Mariah, what are your intentions?”

“If it pleases you, Sir, I would like to offer the collar to...”

Michael, Graeme and Olivia held their breath.

“…Dom Jameson. I came to this club after I had explored the lifestyle on the internet and had a very bad experience at the hands of a truly sadistic man. He injured me to the point that I had to go to the hospital. As you know, Dom Jameson is a doctor and was on duty in Casualty the night I was brought in. Dom Jameson was very kind to me. He became my friend and mentor and guided me, and taught me that truly a submissive has power and must be centred and choose wisely. He suggested that I enroll in this course, and even paid the tuition for me, and he...he has given me reason to hope that he might accept my collar.”

“Ah, Jameson is a fine choice for you, Mariah. Have you a collar?”

“I have a black leather collar, Sir.”

“Found no doubt at a pet shop.”

Mariah turned scarlet and bowed her head. “Yes, Sir. It is as I can afford. I do not earn much money.”

“No shame, Mariah. But The Club can do better than that for you. I see you have lovely green eyes. I believe our club jeweller, Ragnar has a suitable collar in his shop, with jade, and peridots, and emeralds set in silver. I will have it here for you on Thursday. You have been a diligent student and I believe you will suit Dom Jameson well, and he will cherish you and protect you. He cares for you deeply, as you obviously do for him. The collar is our gift to you, a reward for being so dedicated to your studies...

“So, Mariah, you will need to learn these vows, should Dom Jameson accept you.” He handed her a copy of the vows. She beamed at him and her somewhat plain face was transformed by her stunning smile.

“Thank you, Dom.” She bowed in respect and when she sat up, she said very sincerely, “Thank you Dom Graeme, and Dom Michael for all I have been taught. I will learn the vows tonight.”

“I’m sure Jameson will help you,” smiled Graeme. “After all, he will need to learn them himself, should he accept your collar.”

“Next, Naomi,” said Graeme, pointing to the middle girl in the line.

“If it pleases you, Sir,” I would like to offer to yourself.” She thrust her breasts out and parted her legs further, to entice him.

“It does not please me. I am not available to any of you.” Graeme was not unkind, but oh, he was so cold, so very cold.

“Is that because I am a student, Sir?”

“No, it is because I am not available.”

“Sir, I am so sorry, I did not realize...”

“I believe I mentioned a few moments ago I have a pet. Do you want a full time Dom, Naomi?”

“Oh, yes, Sir, one as handsome and accomplished as you.”
