Epilogue

Elissa rub the check of her newborn daughter. She had rosy cheeks and a button nose. Her hair was the color of her mothers and her eyes as grey as stone. That she got from her father.

“You can tell him to come in now.” Elissa said to the nurse.

“Yes Madam Alpha. Right away.” The nurse said softly.

Elissa looked back to her daughter. “Now be a good little girl and don’t cry the first time daddy holds you. He’s nervous as it is.” She flicked her finger on her nose and smiled.

The door opened. Her mate walked inside. Before the door shut she saw Matt and Caleb peaking around the Alpha trying to get a glimpse in the room. They had been as anxious as Vance was when she was giving birth. She had made all of them leave the room. She couldn’t concentrate with them acting as if they were the ones in labor.

“Come meet your daughter, my love.” She placed the little bundle in his arms. He melted around his daughter when she circled her little fingers around his larger one.

“She’s beautiful. I’m not surprised, seeing who her mother is.” he leaned down and gave her a kiss on the forehead.

“She needs a name. I think you should pick it.”

Vance stared at his daughter. He was surprised to see her big grey eyes staring back at him. He looked back at Elissa and the name came easily to him. “Serenity.”

He sat down and rocked his baby girl until she dozed off to sleep. He looked over and seen his mate was doing the same.

He breathed a sigh of contentment. Life couldn’t be better than this.
