Chapter Six

Miller

I waited until later in the evening to work on getting into Laura’s penthouse. It wasn’t going to be easy, but it was do-able. I stood around a darkened corner in a back alley and listened as the Latino worker spoke with one of his fellow employees. My Spanish speaking abilities filled me in on their conversation, and it of course it was about a female coworker.

I waited until they were done smoking and slipped into the kitchen area. I made sure to stay close against the wall so I wouldn’t be caught on surveillance. The way I was dressed served the purpose of hiding my identity, but the ski mask and dark clothing screamed trouble to any prospective security guard who could possibly be watching the monitors. Normally I had an inside source who could get me into a building for a couple of hundred bucks, but as luck would have it—I didn’t in this case.

I slid past the guard on duty and made my way onto the elevator, he had been more engrossed in a ball game that was on the TV screen in front of him, than the monitors he was being paid to watch. It bothered me that if I could get past the guard, then somebody else could too. I didn’t like the idea that Laura wasn’t as safe as she thought she was. I was certain that had been one of the reasons that she had chosen to live here. There was security, a doorman, and privacy. Already I was beginning to feel territorial over a woman that I hardly knew.

I pulled the ball cap I wore down low over my eyes. It would hide my identity and not look so conspicuous. I quickly made my way to Laura’s door and pulled my kit out to begin working on the lock. This simple door kept me separated from the woman who had been unknowingly plaguing my thoughts for the last few days. I breathed a sigh of relief when I heard the lock click and I gently turned the doorknob and made my way in.

I could feel my heart begin to pound as adrenaline coursed through my system. I looked around and I couldn’t help but be impressed by my surroundings—this place was huge. It was decorated in a contemporary style and everything flowed together perfectly.

From the white leather couches to the teal pillows that were perfectly situated on them—it was evident that a lot of thought had gone into the decorating scheme. Silver metal end tables and a large screen TV hung on the wall ad made the sitting area perfect for watching a favorite movie. The wide open spaces without walls between the rooms made it easy to keep an eye on guests if you were working in the kitchen. White ceiling fans were strategically placed throughout the open area to distribute circulation. The place was pristine. I couldn’t ever remember seeing a cleaner habitat. I couldn’t help but wonder how she had managed to do so well financially. She had mentioned in a message she was screen writing for one of the more popular weekly telecasts. I made a mental note to find out which one that it was. Watching it would enable me to get inside of her head and see what made her tick. I gently set my case down and removed a syringe that housed the Rohypnol that would insure I wouldn’t get caught. I hated to drug her, but it was a necessary evil.

I quietly made my way into her bedroom and pulled back the sheet that covered her. I could feel my heart hammering as I quickly jabbed the needle into her arm and emptied the syringe. Surprisingly enough she didn’t wake before the drug hit her system. I fought off a feeling of panic when the thought that maybe she had taken a sleeping aid before falling asleep, went through my mind. I pushed it out of my head and got busy with the business at hand.

I made my way around the bedroom first and installed cameras in inconspicuous areas. They would be placed in key areas such as pointed towards her bed, in her master bathroom, and even in her walk-in closet. I wanted intimate details, and watching someone in their home was the best way to see the
real
person. People let their guards down at home.

As I placed the camera out of sight and aimed it towards her bed, I couldn’t help but wonder why I felt a surge of jealousy at the thought of her being in bed with another man. I shook my head, warding it off. I needed to be on top of my game doing this mission. This could be the last chance I had to get into her condo, but if I had anything to do with it, this would only the first of many times that I would be visiting.

I methodically made my way into each room and strategically placed cameras and listening devices in key living areas. I was looking forward to spying on this little lady. I’ve always been a voyeur of sorts. I guess it just kind of goes with my job title.

It took me a couple of hours to finish and I did one more sweep through the place before attempting to leave. I was in the bedroom toying with a music box when I heard her voice.

“Miller, you’re here to protect me, aren’t you?”

It was said as more of a statement than a question. My heart hammered in my chest. What the fuck was she doing awake? I had given her a smaller dose than I normally would out of a concern for her—I hoped that I wouldn’t regret it.

I turned and looked at the woman who was seated against the headboard eyeing me. I licked my lips as I eyed her hardened nipples against the satin nightshirt she wore.

“I’m not scared, come here.”

My cock jumped as a growl from somewhere deep in my chest escaped me. I stalked my way over to the bed fighting the urge to reach down and rip the nightshirt from her body. I felt like I was swallowing a bowling ball when she began unbuttoning the buttons on it. I stood transfixed as I watched her drop the soft material over her shoulders and eye me with a look of innocence.

“Laura, I gave you something to make you sleep and I don’t want to take advantage of the situation.”

She reached over gently pulling my zipper down and tugging at my boxers causing my cock to spring free.

Her delicate finger ran over the head of my swollen cock, gently spreading the pre come that was already oozing from the small opening. In no time my manhood was completely hardened in her grip.

“I’m giving you one more chance to tell me to get the hell out of here and after that I am going to fuck you till you lose your voice from crying out my name.”

When she leaned over and ran her tongue underneath my throbbing cock, it was all over. I kicked out of the shoes I wore and I found myself being grateful for the fact that I had worn soft soled shoes for the purpose of being light on my feet. I would have hated to waste time unlacing boots.

I ripped at the tiny little cotton underwear she wore, tearing them off of her. I jerked her legs spreading them open and pulled her down further on the mattress.

“I want to taste your sweet little pussy. I have been daydreaming about it since the first time I laid eyes on you.”

She tasted divine. I took my time listening to the tiny little mews escaping her lips as I ran my tongue up and down her slit. I pinned her legs back, diving my face into her very essence as she ground her hips into me for better contact with my tongue. I pulled the swollen nub of nerves from hiding, sucking and swirling my tongue until she was screaming out my name and telling me how good that I felt.

I fished into the pocket of my blue jeans for a condom then quickly tore open the wrapper and slid it over my throbbing cock.

“Get those legs back girl, I plan on pushing all of this cock into you. After tonight, you’re going to know beyond a shadow of a doubt that you belong to me.”

Laura

When I first awoke and saw him there, I thought I was dreaming. The thing that shocked me more than the fact that he was in my condo was that I wasn’t scared. For the first time I could remember in recent years, I felt safe.

I knew he had given me something, but I also knew why he’d done it—he was here to protect me, and he knew—or he thought, that if I woke up and he was here I would freak out.

It had been five years since I’d been with a man, and I had no intention of letting him get out of here without fucking me. It felt good to take control. Reaching over and pulling his thick long cock out of his jeans and running my hands over it, gave me a feeling of control. Having this alpha male, this dangerous man at my mercy felt good and I had every intention of reveling in that control.

The look he got on his face when he lost control was so rewarding. He sounded like a feral animal when he ripped my panties off and dove face first between my thighs. His cock felt like ten inches of pure deliciousness as he pounded his way in and out of me. The words coming from those fine ass lips of his—words that told me how I had plagued his thoughts, made me feel things I have never felt before. Yes, Miller made me feel like a woman again, and this was one night I was throwing caution to the wind…

I waited until she fell back asleep before I eased my way out of her bed. I needed to get home and call Glazov. I couldn’t help but hope that her dirt bag ex was in debt to him. It would sure as hell free me up if he had fucked Glazov over. I wouldn’t have to worry about killing him. Glazov would do it.

I made my way over to her purse and grabbed her keys so I could have copies made. I would get all of the necessary codes from her so I could walk through the lobby like any other civilized person the next time I came to visit.

I kissed her cheek and made my way out the door—damn, she smelled good. I pushed away thoughts of staying and fucking her again. I had to work to do. Russia was eight hours ahead of Louisville and I needed to get in touch with Glazov, or my curiosity would be piqued all day long about whether or not Mark was in debt to him.

I picked up my pace so I wouldn’t give in to my throbbing cock. I jiggled the door after I dead bolted it just to insure that it was properly locked. The only problem now would be how she would react when she woke.

Laura

I opened my eyes and took a moment to get my bearings. Memories of the night before came rushing into the forefront of my mind. Did I really dream that Miller had been in my bed? The soreness between my thighs quickly informed me that I hadn’t been dreaming.

It wasn’t the craziness and spontaneity that had occurred between us that baffled me, it was the fact that there been no fear when I woke up and he was here. It was like I immediately knew that he was here to protect me—not to hurt me.

It was the first time I could remember not being afraid. Against all reasoning, I hadn’t been afraid. I knew that because Miller provided me with a feeling of safety, I would want him around. Whether I liked it or not, I was going to crave the security that he offered—security that no one else had ever been able to provide me with.

I wasn’t a needy person. I just felt safe with Miller. I was beginning to question just how much thought had gone into him introducing himself to me on my blog. Was he who he said that he was? It was evident he was a P.I. from his website, whether he had a friend who was suffering from agoraphobia was still questionable.

I got up out of bed and made my way into the kitchen to start a pot of coffee. I needed a shower and some coffee before I tried to figure all of this out. I would do what I always did when I didn’t want to worry—work.
