Chapter Eight

Roderick

I flipped the butterfly knife open and closed with just a flip of my wrist as I spoke to the woman that I had tied to the support beam in my basement.

“You are one kinky bitch, aren’t you Julia?”

The ball gag that I had placed in her mouth kept her from answering, but I still raised a sardonic brow as if awaiting an answer. I placed her chin in between the forefinger and thumb of my knife free hand, and shook her head up and down for her in a yes motion.

“Yes, I’m a kinky bitch,” I spoke for her, while shaking her head up and down.

“I’m sorry that I had to cut your finger off, Julia. But when the Governor calls, you have to answer. Really, everything has worked out for the best. You hired me to kidnap his woman and I didn’t realize that you had crossed Miller—I only did what I had to do. The past is the past and you are all healed up now so let’s let bygones be bygones. On to the fun stuff, let’s get back to this demented affair I want to have with you.”

I buried my face into Julia’s hair breathing her scent in, today happened to be L’Heure Bleu.

“You’re such a pretentious little bitch, aren’t you dear?” I plunged my thick finger into her soaked opening, right when I spoke the words, but my eyes never left her face.

“You and I are like yin and yang my love. I’m the bad boy, long haired, villain, biker badass, and you young lady are the entitled, little rich bitch who doesn’t get her way with me. You’re Daddy’s little angel, but you’re my little fuck toy to use and abuse in whatever sick, twisted, sadistic, and demented way that I choose to use you. You know the fucked up thing about it is? You like it. I do believe that you may have a masochistic streak in you. But fear not young lady. I have got what you need to satisfy that nasty little desire of yours to be subjected to painful ecstasy.”

My finger rolled over her clit and I dropped to my knees pinching at her inner thighs, which in turn caused her legs to fly open. I spread her already swollen lips and taunted her as I ran my tongue up and down her slit. “There is absolutely nothing that tastes better than high class pussy.”

Julia’s whole body began to shake as I brought her right to the edge of release, only to stop. I could feel my cock harden as the begging ensued through the ball gag she wore. I tossed the knife I had been toying with to the side and slowly began to pump my finger in and out of her opening, which was now dripping fluid down her inner thigh. I innocently looked up at her as I continued to pump with one finger and twirl with another—just enough to keep her on edge.

“Why should I let you to come? You left me. Just because I cut your finger off? It wasn’t my fault Julia, you crossed Miller and I had no choice. Now, if you will be a good girl and stay—then I can protect you from making any other stupid mistakes. Let’s just put it like this, you can stay, or you can stay.” An innocent smile crossed my face as I stopped and waited for her to shake her head yes, like I knew she would.

I stood up ready to fuck her before my phone rang. The tears rolling down her face only made my cock throb even more than it already had been. “You’re making my cock hard by crying.” I lapped at her tears as I pushed the answer button on my phone. When I saw that it was Miller I purposely put it on speaker.

“Miller, so good to hear from you. What can I do for you?”

“I’ve got a mark—I need you to watch him. I don’t want to get into it over the phone. I’ll email you the details.”

I got right up in Julia’s face and flicked my tongue rapidly back and forth like a lizard. It was my way of taunting her because she was already on edge—just letting her know I planned on putting it to use after my call.

“I’ll be waiting for the details, Miller.”

I hung up and turned my attention back to the matter at hand. “Now, where was I?”

Miller

I stretched my legs out at my desk as I hung up the phone after speaking with Roderick. That guy was one crazy motherfucker. I knew he was still messing around with the socialite who used to be engaged to the Governor. What I couldn’t wrap my brain around was, why in the hell would that woman have anything to do with a man who had literally chopped her finger off, with what I could only assume was a bolt cutter.

I grabbed my phone and decided to text my little angel. It was time for my own mind fuck session—not that I wanted to screw with her head, I really just wanted to make sure that she wasn’t freaked out.

So how did you sleep last night, my little beauty?

Other than the fact that I had an intruder, fine ;)

Good, that means that I’m safe to bring my overnight bag by later.

Well, since you took my keys with you, let yourself in.

I don’t have your keys.

Liar! Get your own set made and I’ll fill the doorman in on the fact that you will be residing here.

I plan on it… And, I like the sound of that.

I bet you do…

I set my phone down on the desk relieved that she wasn’t freaked out, or worse, pissed.

I opened my desk drawer and grabbed one of my burner phones. I needed to call Glazov.

I listened to the ringing of the phone and waited for him to answer. It always amazed me how clear the lines sounded—as if he were right next door, and not all the way over in Russia.

“Ah, my friend Miller, how are you?”

“I’m fine Sir, and you?”

“Always so respectful. I like that about you, Miller. To what do I owe this welcomed call from you?”

“I have a mark that I believe you may know. I really wanted to talk to you before I decide how to handle him. His name is Mark Bradley.”

“That man really needs to work on that nasty gambling habit he has. He owes me an awful lot of money. Let’s just put it like this, his days are numbered.”

“He contacted me trying to put a hit out on his ex-wife.”

“Only a dirtbag would kill a woman to try and pay a debt. He is weak—a man given over to his habit of gambling. You make sure that the woman is ok, the man is living on borrowed time—my borrowed time.”

“Will do, Sir. Tell your wife hello and kiss the baby for me.”

“Such manners you have my friend. People these days are too busy to ask a man about his family, but not you.”

The phone line went dead and I knew Glazov was done talking. He was a man of few words and a very dangerous one at that. I had no intentions of killing a man he had set his sights on—it would be rude to intrude on a fellow man’s mark.

Laura

Miller and I had been seeing each other pretty regular for about a week. He had come over one night and just kind of ended up staying—never leaving. It was just a natural progression with him, but everything always seemed to be that way with Miller.

I rubbed my eyes as I warded off an afternoon slump of fatigue. We had been spending the last couple of nights up late together. I had been writing all morning and it was beginning to catch up with me. I turned and eyed the door as I heard the key turning in the lock. I was glad that I had already called down and informed the desk that Miller would be staying with me. They would give him his own code and would be free to come and go as he pleased without me having to let him in and out.

I looked up to view Miller entering and I wondered how he had so quickly become a part of my life. The thought of his presumption that he had snuck into my life unaware, made me smile. I highly doubted he had a friend who showed signs of agoraphobia. I let him think that he had me fooled, I didn’t need to give all of my secrets away.

“Close your eyes love.”

I closed them assuming he had bought me flowers. I felt soft fur brush against my cheek and heard the small purr of a tiny kitten. I squealed as I opened my eyes grabbing it. It was the tiniest little calico cat I had ever laid eyes on.

“That is so sweet, Miller.”

“Yeah, that’s me—a sweet killer.” He bent down and kissed me. He then placed a finger under my chin and looked me directly in the eyes. “Don’t ever mistake my kindness for weakness.”

“I wouldn’t do that Miller.”

“I was going to get you a dog but you can’t let him out—so I got a boy kitten. He better be the only fucking male that ever graces your door, girl.”

“Scouts honor, the only two men who will grace my door are you and Cali.”

“A befitting name, now put him down so I can tend to my other pussy.”

He turned my chair towards him and cocked my legs up on the edge of it. His fingers moved my panties over and his tongue began an immediate assault on my opening. In no time my legs were shaking and his finger was pumping in and out of me. I tugged at his chocolate brown hair while moaning his name. His lips sucked and pulled my clit out of hiding and sent me right over the edge.

He ran the back of his hand over his mouth as he sheepishly eyed me and informed me that he had to go set Cali up. I pulled his shirt that I was wearing around me and followed behind him. I reached down and scooped up the kitten off of the floor. I was curious to see what he had purchased. I stood by the door and watched as he pulled in everything from a kitty condo to feeding dishes. It looked like he’d purchased a pet store for the little guy. It was evident this cat had found a good home. Between me spoiling him and Miller buying him toys, the little guy would make out like the proverbial
fat cat.

I followed behind him, stroking the cat and watched as he set up everything up. As I watched the large muscled man bent over a cat-food bowl, I couldn’t help but wonder how a man who was hired out as a P.I. and bodyguard, could have such a soft side. I knew that I was seeing a side of him no one else did. Evidently between his need to protect me, and my vulnerability of being agoraphobic, he had no need to be emotionally guarded with me. I couldn’t help but feel special.

When he turned and removed Cali from my hands with an intimidating stare, I backed up until my back connected with the wall. His hands strategically placed on either side of my head insured that I was unable to go anywhere.

Though I didn’t know him extremely well yet, I knew him well enough to know that intense was the mood of the moment. Though his voice was barely above a whisper, there was an element of sinister within his words.

“I’m not a good man. I’m not a kind man. People hire me to do terrible, heinous things, and I enjoy my work.”

Why did a comment like that leave me feeling weak in my knees? Evidently he read me correctly because a look of amusement crossed his face, as one side of his lips curled up in a smirk gave him away.

“For a woman who won’t go out of the house, you sure enjoy toying with danger.”

“I’m not scared of you, Miller.”

“That remains to be seen.”

He watched my face as he bent down and his lips suctioned on a nipple while I melted into the wall. My hands ran through the long layers of his chocolate brown hair. He moved so quickly that I jumped when he straightened up and pinned my wrists above my head with one of his hands. His eyes sharply cut into me, piercing me somewhere deep in my core. I found myself having to look down, no longer able to meet his fierce gaze.

“Did I ask you to touch me? Did I give you permission to touch me?”

I kept my gaze down as I shook my head no. I could feel my panties becoming wet. Thoughts of my voyeuristic escapades of watching the couple across from me engaged in a similar scene filled my mind. So this is what it felt like.
