1680 BL – A powerful and evil sorcerer named Kodren the Cruel appears in the Far Western Lands and comes to power in Roven.

1679 BL – Artus Ecorian leads an army to Roven and overthrows Kodren’s rule. Kodren escapes on a ship and sails away to Alber. Kodren later becomes High King of Alber.

1678 BL – Artus falls ill and dies in Faircastle.

1677 BL – Lennox Ecorian becomes the Ecorian Emperor.

1675 BL – The Irilian Order reforms and builds a fortress at the junction of the Iril and Oread Rivers. The fortress is called the Iril Fortress throughout the ages. The leaders of the Irilian Order construct the Irilian Star to help prevent the Irilian Order from ever being scattered again.

1672 BL – The Star King steals the Chalai from the Oracle of the Oran Mountains. His hand is cut off by the Oran Oracle, yet he escapes with the Chalai.

1670 BL – A powerful Northern Sorcerer named Ondtast grows to power in the land of Kaznor. His power is unlike any other sorcerer seen before. He carries with him the secrets of the Northern Sorcerers of the First Age, and his power corrupts him.

1669 BL – Ondtast reveals his thirteen Athad who he has trained as sorcerer-warriors to serve him. They are: Singar the Terrible, Gammak the Grim, Korb the Fearsome, Ertch the Pale, Orgoth the Violent, Crymak the Insidious, Eschak the Bitter, Titark the Murderous, Vidgar the Slothful, Berok the Ugly, Sleshkak the Tempter, Hozkork the Maniac, and Fudo the Cunning.

1665 BL – Ondtast takes control of Kaznor and begins building great armies with thoughts of conquering all of Veredor for himself.

1663 BL – Lennox Ecorian searches for the Sword of Light in the Siarglas River but fails to find it.

1659 BL – Ondtast sails through the Icy Sea with a massive fleet and invades Scaldonia. He divides his Athad servants and sends them on different tasks to prepare for the coming of his new empire.

1658 BL – Singar the Terrible takes control of Alber as Hozkork the Maniac arrives in Dravania and seeks to take control of the land and its people. Lennox Ecorian raises an army to contest the invasion of the Ecorian Empire. Ondtast invades Ortaria and takes over Zyran. He turns many Zyranian wizards to his evil ways. Half the Zyranian Order escape from Zyran.

1657 BL – Ondtast occupies Silvor and Ateria and begins invading the Vastoria. The Athad are feared throughout the lands. Lennox leads his great army to meet the invaders in the Vastorian Wastes, but his army is shattered and forced to flee west back across Vastoria. Ondtast pursues Lennox and his remaining men. Ondtast follows Lennox into the Grey Pass.

1656 BL – Ondtast plans to slay Lennox Ecorian and take over the Ecorian Empire. Lennox calls on the Fiorians for help and gathers a small but valiant army on the western banks of the Everdon River. The Fire Order, at the request of the Ecorian, come down from the Tower of Fire and join Lennox’s army. He is also joined by three Fiorian Knights: Alart the Wanderer, Ademar the Gentle, and Oisin the Firm. They await the coming of Ondtast and his army. The Athad gather to fight with their master in Irvaria Minor (Everdon). A great battle is fought across the river and Lennox Ecorian, with the Fiorians by his side, challenges the Athad and Ondtast. Lennox and the Fiorians slay all the Athad and cast Ondtast into the river. Ondtast is never seen again.

1655 BL – Lennox works to rebuild all that has been destroyed by Ondtast. Lennox grows tired in his efforts and sorrowful at the extent of the damage.

1654 BL – Lennox steps down as emperor and hands the throne to his son Ultan Ecorian.

1653 BL – Lennox Ecorian leaves Faircastle with his wife Dahirian the Silent and retires in silence in the Southern Forest (later the Forest of Sorrows).

1652 BL – The Star King begins a personal war with the Mountain Sprites of the Great Mountains. The Mountain Sprites flee from the Star King, and he destroys many of the hidden abodes of the sprites. Later the Fire Order come to the aid of the Mountain Sprites.

1650 BL – Ultan Ecorian journeys to the Western Oracle in the Oran Mountains and seeks council. He then searches for the Sword of Light but fails to find it.

1638 BL – Ultan falls in love and marries Ciaran of the Irilian Order.

1634 BL – Ultan lives with his wife in Dravania City on the Iril River.

1626 BL – Aluin Ecorian is born in Dravania.

1625 BL – The Fire Stone and Pure Flame of the Fire Sorcerers from the Old Guardian Mountains is stolen. They seek the help of the emperor to find it.

1624 BL – Ultan discovers the Fire Stone has been stolen by thieves and has been taken north to Kaznor. He gathers a group of valiant men to go with him north to recover it.

1622 BL - Ultan sails up the eastern coast and across the Icy Sea to Kaznor with his small band of adventurers. He discovers the Fire Stone has been taken to Garovna. Ultan is imprisoned in the Dungeons of Zarkanor before he can recover the Fire Stone.

1620 BL – Ultan Ecorian escapes the prison and makes his way to Garovna with the fire wizard Kaldo the Magnificent. He is thought to have perished by al
l the people of the Ecorian Empire by this time.

1619 BL –Ultan Ecorian arrives in Garovna and finds the Fire Stone in the Tower of Garov. A battle occurs and Ultan escapes with the Fire Stone and makes his way back to the Ecorian Empire.

1618 BL – Ultan returns to Faircastle and later to his wife in Dravania. The Fire Sorcerers thank him and reward him by making him a sword which they named, Fire of Day. He graciously accepts the sword, but still his heart harkens for The Sword of Light.

1611 BL – Ultan Ecorian journeys north to seek out the Fortress Shidon in the deep north. He goes only with his prized magical sword, Fire of Day.

1608 BL – Ultan Ecorian enters Alber and has a vision of the unicorn at Silvari on the Zarakini River. He then heads for the western coast of Alber.

1607 BL – Ultan Sails to the Island of Pa across the Tabani Sea. His ship is wrecked south of Pa. He alone survives because of being half mer in nature. He swims for many days to reach Pa.

1606 BL – Ultan Ecorian wanders throughout the Pa Mountains. It is said that he sighted a unicorn running across a mountain ridge. Ultan Ecorian returns south to the Ecorian Empire.

1605 BL – Ultan returns to Dravania and falls ill. A year later Ultan Ecorian dies in Dravania.

1604 BL – Aluin Ecorian becomes emperor and returns to live in Faircastle.

1603 BL – Aluin Ecorian grows restless of ruling the Ecorian Empire and seeks a simple life.

1602 BL – A Pegasus is sighted in the southern regions of Veredor.

1601 BL – Aluin Ecorian sets out to search for the Pegasus.

1600 BL – Aluin Ecorian finds Pegasus on a small island in the Southern Sea. Aluin Ecorian mounts Pegasus and asks to be taken beyond the boundaries of Veredor. Aluin doesn’t return and there is no heir to the throne of the Ecorian Empire. The Ecorian age ends.

1600 BL – Aluin Ecorian, believing that the time of the Ecorian Empire has come to an end, secretly lives out his life in Ateria as a woodcutter and marries a village woman.

1595 BL – The Ecorian Arbiters of the empire argue over who is to become the next emperor as there is no Ecorian descendent.

1591 BL – The Ecorian Empire is divided into the following kingdoms by the Ecorian Arbiters: Irvaria, Irvaria Minor, Vastoria, Ateria, Silvor, Ortaria, Scaldonia, Zyran (ruled by the Council of Zyran), Dravania, Iarthar, Roven, and Glenia.

1590 BL – The new independent monarchies begin with complete sovereignty. Each is governed by an Ecorian Arbiter.

1586 BL – Darkness creeps out of the swamps of Ortaria. Draugs appear in Ortaria.

1585 BL – The Merus River of Ortaria is poisoned as evil forces rise to power in Altus Forest. Many innocent people die in Ortaria.

1582 BL – The evil forces build an army under a warlord named Toki. Toki leads his army to Sevadir and sacks the city.

1581 BL – King Redron of Ortaria leads a small army south to challenge Toki. Toki charms Redron and marries his daughter Livia.

1580 BL – Redron falls ill and dies. Toki becomes King of Ortaria and leads the people into evil ways.

1579 BL – Other kingdoms become concerned and forge an alliance to challenge King Toki’s rule in Ortaria.

1577 BL – Scaldonia and Silvor invade Ortaria. King Toki is slain. Livia becomes queen of Ortaria and harmony is restored. Peace settles on the kingdoms of the south for some time.

1558 BL – The Council of Zyran begins to exert influence over the Eastern Lands.

1555 BL – A revolt occurs in Vastoria and the kingdom is divided into north and south for many years.

1551 BL – Varius the Mighty becomes leader of the Council of Zyran.

1545 BL – Varius builds a formal academy in Zyran and a great library in Zyran. A class of student wizards begins studying in Zyran.

1540 BL – Varius is poisoned by an unknown enemy and dies.

1539 BL – A battle occurs in the township of Zyran between good and evil wizards of the Zyranian Order. The evil wizards of the Zyranian Order are banished from the island.

1538 BL – Evil grows in the Eastern Lands as the expelled sorcerers exert their influences over the kingdoms.

1536 BL – The Isles of Dawn separate from Ortaria and Silvor and become an independent kingdom.

1531 BL – The city of Orani upon the main island in the Isles of Dawn is completed. Orani is considered the most beautiful city on the eastern coastline of Veredor.

1526 BL – The Fiorian Knights discover the Star King has built a castle high in the Great Mountains.

1525 BL – A group of Fiorians visit the Star King. The Star King forces the Fiorians from his home. From this time onward the Star King is seen as a threat by the Fiorian Order.

1521 BL – The Star King builds a kingdom in the Great Mountains. He befriends the Blue Caps. The Blue Caps revere the Star King as their king and attempt to help him discover a mechanism for opening the Cosmic Gate.

1515 BL – The Mountain Kingdom grows within the Great Mountains hidden away from the world of men.

1510 BL – Mer are said to have entered the Merhome Sea and taken refuge at this time.

1506 BL – King Lee the Solid of Iarthar marries Princess Emer the Star of Glenia, forging an age-old alliance.

1501 BL – The ancient pass through the Great Mountains which was used throughout the Ecorian times becomes treacherous around this year.

1495 BL – The Mountain Kingdom of the Star King continues to grow and prosper and remains hidden in the mountains.

1491 BL – Bandits ravage Irvaria Minor (Everdon) leading to a war lasting twelve years.

1490 BL – Prince Treli of Coran is shipwrecked in the Merhome Sea and saved by mermaids. They request his help to recover the stolen Sun Stone.

1489 BL – Treli begins his quest to find the Sun Stone.

1488 BL – Treli searches the Far Western Lands but fails to find the Sun Stone. The Oran Oracle tells Treli to seek out the Fire Order.

1487 BL – Treli and a Fiorian Knight named Riordan the Unfathomable travel across the Great Mountains to Irvaria to seek the Fire Order in the Old Guardian Mountains.

1486 BL – Treli crosses Vastoria and enters the Endless Wall Mountains and battles a great red lindworm that stole the Sun Stone from the mer. Treli is victorious and returns with the Sun Stone to the mer in the Merhome Sea.

1480 BL – Kertax the Tyrant sails from across the Eastern Ocean and first appears off the coast this year.

1479 BL – Kertax destroys and plunders twenty one ships this year.

1478 BL – The kings of Ortaria, Silvor and Ateria seek to capture or slay Kertax, but Kertax escapes them taking another fifteen ships this year. He is feared greatly by all seafaring folk.

1477 BL – Kertax takes thirty ships this year.

1476 BL – The coastal kingdoms call upon the Fiorian Order to help them rid the sea of Kertax the Tyrant.

1475 BL – One Fiorian Knight named Ronan the Benevolent seeks out Kertax across the sea. He finds Kertax and inspires Kertax to turn from his violent ways and return across the sea from where he came. Kertax takes his great hoard of treasure and leaves the coast of Veredor forever.

1468 BL – King Ansurr comes to the throne of Scaldonia and does much good throughout his kingdom. Scaldonia grows to be prosperous.

1460 BL – King Ansurr establishes the Council of Kings. The Council of Kings brings much peace and wealth to the Eastern Lands.

1452 BL – War grows in the west between Coran and Dravania.

1449 BL – King Treli overcomes the advancing Dravanians on the Caran River sending them fleeing back home to Dravania.

1445 BL – The Kingdom of Coran grows to great power under King Treli. The mer people are often seen in this time and dwell just off the coast of Coran in the Merhome Sea.

1437 BL – King Treli dies of old age.

1436 BL – The mer people leave the Merhome Sea and are rarely seen after this time.

1426 BL – Plague strikes Roven and Glenia and many people die. Many Irilian wizards travel south. The Irilians cure many of the sick.
