She had known it when just the sight of his tall figure striding purposefully along a street or into a room caused her to feel full of vitality and interest. She had even known that someone who had enough importance in her life to make her angry at him was a powerful force indeed. With a sigh, she gave in to the inevitable, to what she had sensed for quite some time.
"Yes please."
"Yes please, what?" he prompted.
"Yes please, Justin, yes I love you, yes I shall marry you." Sometime later, as she emerged breathless from his crushing embrace, Diana could not help giggling.
"What is it, my love?" he cocked a speculative eyebrow at her.
"Somehow I don't think this is quite what Lady Blanche had in mind."
"I hardly think so," he agreed, his eyes dancing. "But I have had it in my mind, and nothing else, for some time. Now be quiet and let us take up where we left off—the part where you said you'd marry me, and then I kissed you like this ... like this ... and like this..."
