Unraveled (Love in Salem, book 2) (9 page)

“Mm.  Always so good, baby doll.”

On shaky legs, Atayla turned in his embrace and pressed a kiss to his mouth.

“That’s not fair.  You know how I taste, but I have yet to taste you.”

Sinking down to her knees, Atayla rubbed his hips and stared up into his eyes.  Bringing one hand around, she squeezed his shaft and slowly, tortuously, stroked up and down the length.  She watched as a bead of pre-come leaked from the tip.  She had to taste him.

Aidan growled as she licked up his swollen shaft before circling the bulbous head with her tongue.  She waited for him to jerk away and tell her she was acting like a whore, but when all he did was stare at her with lustful eyes, she sucked the head of his cock into her mouth.

Humming her pleasure at his taste, she bobbed up and down the length of his shaft.  He had an earthy masculine taste that she knew she could easily become addicted to.  Now she understood what her girlfriends had been talking about during all those embarrassing conversations.  If only she had listened a bit more, she might have picked up a few pointers.

Though she was concerned about her performance, she quickly learned what he liked through his responses.  Releasing her hand from his cock, she stroked his balls and noted how they tightened up against his body.

She ran her tongue against the ridge under the head of his cock before sucking him back into her mouth.  She released him with a “pop” and leaned down to gently suckle his balls before rolling them in her mouth.

“Oh, fuck yeah!” Aidan moaned, allowing her time to play.  When he could stand it no longer, he grasped her hair in his fist and held her still as he guided his cock back to her mouth.

“That’s feels fantastic, baby, but I gotta get back inside this hot mouth.”  Holding her firmly, he slowly fucked in and out of her mouth.

“So good, oh yeah, take more of me.”

Thrusting a bit deeper, he met resistance.  He didn’t fail notice when she gagged slightly on his efforts.  She obviously wasn’t all that experienced at sucking cock but for what she lacked in technique she made up for in eagerness and voracity.

“Relax.  Open up your throat for me.  When you feel me, I want you swallow and work those muscles on me.”

Driving inside her mouth once again, he murmured “Swallow” when he hit the back of her throat.  This time, instead of meeting resistance, he felt her muscles contract around him allowing him to slide through.  He shortened his strokes and fucked into her throat with abandon.

“Breathe through your nose.  I’m almost there sweetheart.  Oh yeah, almost.”

Atayla rubbed her thighs together, trying to find relief for her aching clit.  Who knew that giving a man head could turn her on so much?  Hell, who knew she could come so much?  She has had more orgasms over the past few hours than she did her entire relationship with what’s his name.  And, wow, what did that mean that she actually forgot his name?

“Suck harder.”

His command brought her attention back to him.  She had been so overwhelmed at that moment that she had to force herself to focus on the task at hand.  Her clit was pulsating in time with his thrusts.  Reaching down, she stroked her finger against it.

His grasp on her hair tightened, pulling her head back slightly.  The little bite of pain increased her desire tenfold.  Moaning around his cock, she doubled her efforts until he threw his head back and his seed began spurt inside her mouth.  She whimpered as she soared right along with him.

“Ungh!  Fuck!  Ah, God!”

When his cock began to soften, she licked him clean while staring into his eyes.  He used one arm to lean against the shower stall while the other softly stroked the back of her hair.  Noticing her finger still playing along the seam of her nether lips, he cocked a smile at her.

“Fuck, you’re sexy.”  He rumbled, replete.

The smile she gave him was hesitant, shy.  Reaching down, he pulled her up to stand directly in front of him.  Taking the hand that had been playing with her pussy, he lifted her fingers and painted her juices around his mouth.

She watched as he licked his lips.  It was like he couldn’t get enough of her flavor.  She loved it even though it embarrassed her slightly.  It had been drilled in to her head that such actions were dirty and inappropriate.  Such actions were hedonistic and immoral.   She had no idea just how sexually deprived she had been.

“I love how unabashed you are one moment and blush the next.  Such an intriguing contradiction you are.”

“And you are not going to make it to work on time.”  She teased as she smoothed her hands around his waist.  “They will probably never forgive you.”

“Are you kidding?  They saw you leave with me last night.  They will be more surprised that I showed up at all.”  He teased right back.

Atayla groaned at the thought of other people knowing what they did last night.  Not that she didn’t have bragging rights for snaring the hottest man around, but despite her actions as of late, she honestly was quite bashful.  She preferred that her private life remain private and not the topic of conversation.

“Is it so bad that you were seen leaving with me?”  The smile faded from his face.

“No.”  She shook her head emphatically.  “I don’t mind that, it’s just…” she sighed.  “I’m not very experienced with this stuff.”

His crooked smile returned, making her want to sigh.  He was so handsome when he smiled at her like that.

“You don’t say.  I would never have guessed.”

It was her turn for insecurities.  “Was it that bad?”  Tears actually threatened to reveal themselves at the thought of not pleasing Aidan.

“God, no.  It was the best lovin’ I’ve ever had.  I like it that you’re not experienced.  I like knowing
I
am the one showing you how good it can be.”

She couldn’t resist kissing him again.  She loved his kisses.  His lips were soft yet firm as his mouth conquered hers.  He made her feel feminine and sexy and petite.  All the things she had never felt before.  It was an incredible awareness she had of herself in his presence, and she knew he was the one who drew it out of her.

Never would she be so at ease with her sexuality without someone confident enough to influence her.   Especially after how deep Randall buried her under guilt and shame for believing that intimacy should be explored in order to be enjoyable for both partners, not only him.

She was grateful for what they shared last night.  Aidan had opened her eyes to possibilities she had only fantasized about.  Now that she knew he shared in her proclivities, she wasn’t going to want to let him go.

Easing away from his kiss, Atayla rested her forehead on his chest and savored the scent of his soap.  Just thinking about the day without him made her feel lonely.  How could he have become so vital to her after just one night?

“Water is getting cold.”  He wrapped his arms around her and held her tight against his body.

She chuckled as she lifted her head to look at him.  “From the feel of things, a cold shower would do you some good.”

Glancing down at his wayward cock, he shrugged.  “I’ve come to terms with the fact that I’m in a perpetual state of hardness in your presence.  I could probably rub it raw, and it would still stand at attention when you walk in the room.”

Laughing, Atayla turned and shut the water off as Aidan grabbed a couple of fluffy towels.  Unfolding one, he wrapped it around his waist then used the second one to start wiping the beads of water off her skin.

“I can do that, you know.”

“I know.  I just love touching you.”

Giving him a playful shove, Atayla commandeered the towel muttering about ‘horny men’ and ‘one track minds.’

They dressed quickly, Atayla in a pair of Aidan’s sweatpants and a t-shirt, and headed for the door.   Jogging ahead of her, Aidan unlocked and opened the passenger door to his SUV.  After she was seated, he shut the door and jogged around the front of the vehicle.

“Where are we headed?” He asked as his cell phone began ringing.  Digging it out of his pocket, he glanced at the caller ID before silencing it and tossing it in the console.

Though she was curious as to why, she figured it was none of her business.  “9
th
and Martine, Sterling Heights.”

He whistled.  “Nice place.  Is it all condos now?”

“No.”  She answered, glancing at his phone as it began to ring again.  “There are still some older privately owned houses towards the back.”

Aidan retrieved his phone, looked at the caller ID, and tossed back into the console.  He rubbed the back of his neck nervously before picking the phone back up and shutting it off.
Suspicion consumed her, and it must have shown on her face because when he looked at her again he explained.

“Sorry.  That was my ex.  She broke it off with me right before we met the first time.  That was actually why I was so drunk that night.  I was mourning or whatever you want to call it.”

He looked at her again and smiled sincerely.  “At least I was until I ran into you and realized she wasn’t worth it.”

He never failed to make her feel special.  Again she wanted to kick herself for denying him in the beginning.

“Do you know why she is calling?”

He shook his head.  “No, but I’m also not interested in knowing either.  I don’t want to do anything that may make you uncomfortable.”

Atayla mulled that over for a minute. “You should answer next time she calls.  If for nothing else, to tell her you’ve moved on.”

If she shocked him, she couldn’t tell.  He causally looked her way then back at the road.

“Yeah, I’ve definitely moved on to better things.”

Chapter Ten

Laughter is a contagious thing, especially when influenced by the wonderful effects of Tequila.  The bartender had certainly outdone herself this time.  The Mango Margaritas were the best Atayla had ever had.

The Club House was a Saturday night favorite.  With plenty of seating, TVs, pool tables, shuffleboard and gambling machines, it drew in quite a diverse crowd.  Tonight, with the much anticipated football game, the place was especially crowded.

“So, Atayla.”  Carla quirked an eyebrow, and she knew she was in trouble.  “Will you please explain to me why my darling husband knew about you going out on a date when I did not?”

Atayla blushed.  “I mentioned it to him the other day, but everything has happened so fast I guess I just didn’t have time to catch everyone up.”

“Whoa, what do you mean everything has happened so fast?”  Abby demanded.  “As far as I knew, you and Aidan hadn’t even scheduled the date yet.”

“She had dinner with him at The Shoppe on Wednesday.”  Claire piped in.  “The man is a God.  Why can’t I find a man like him around?”  She pouted.

“He has brothers.”  Abby wiggled her brows.  “I’ve met them in passing while at Skiz.  They’re all just as hot, even the youngest with his baby face.  For him, I’d be willing to go Cougar.”

The women all hooted.

“Abby, girl, I think you’d try anything once.”  Ava slapped her on the shoulder.  “What I want to know is how Atayla’s supper date went.  She has lived vicariously through us for so long I’m dying to hear the nitty-gritty, down and dirty details from ‘Miss Prim and Proper’ over there.”

Atayla took a gulp of her margarita the set it on the table.  “What makes you think there are any details?”

“Because you’re blushing, my dear.”

“It’s the alcohol.”  She defended.

“You’ve only been blushing since we started talking about your new beau.”

“We had dinner, okay?  Nothing earth shattering happened, as Claire can attest considering she eaves dropped the entire meal.”  She said, sticking her tongue out at her friends.

Abby cocked her head to the sided, staring at Atayla as though she could see inside her soul.  She hated when Abby did that and knew she saw way more than she wanted her to.

“Not during dinner, no, but something did happen didn’t it?”  Abby’s intuition was always stellar.

Every eye around the table centered on her at that moment.  She felt her entire face heat up and knew she was busted.

“Oh My God!”  The girls hooted again.  “Spill, girl.  No way are you going to get away with keeping a secret this huge!”

Taking another gulp of margarita for courage, she whispered.  “I spent the night with him last night, and I swear it was the best night of my life.”  Shaking her head, she continued.  “I had no idea it could be so amazing!”

All four women leaned towards Atayla and laid a supportive hand on her.  Tears formed in her eyes at the gesture.  She had the best friends a girl could ask for.  They knew her, understood her, and didn’t judge her.  That, in and of itself, was sacred.

She had no plans of sharing all the intimate details, but she saw no harm in telling them her feelings.  Terrified of how things could end up, Atayla needed assurance that not all relationships were the same.  Were they in the beginnings of a relationship?  Aidan sure acted like they were.
