Eoin grabs me and kisses me long and hard, shooting a death stare at Trent.
“You heard her. Do I need to help you leave?” The look on Trent’s face is both that of hurt and irritation. I’m pretty sure he wasn’t expecting Eoin to be here. I feel kind of bad and I have no clue why. I look at Eoin quickly.
“Give me a few minutes in the hallway with him. I won’t be long.” I say, hoping he’ll understand. He looks at Trent and I can see he’s not happy about it.
“Okay. I’ll be right here so yell if you need me.” I close the door after Eoin, and walk back out into the hallway.
“What were you thinking? Why would you do this to me, let alone somebody you don’t even know?” I snap out. Trent bows his head and takes a deep breath.
“I thought I’d be able to break the two of you apart so I could try and get another chance with you. I feel terrible and I’m sorry. Please forgive me, Lea.” I laugh at him.
“I’ll
never
forgive you for this! What you did was selfish. I may find it in my heart to be friends again, but that’s going to be a long time from now. I want you to leave. Don’t call me or come here again until I say it’s okay, Trent.” I turn and walk inside, leaving him standing dumbstruck in the hallway.
Eoin gets up from the couch, grabs my hand and we sit down to eat. We don’t discuss Trent any further, which is what I was hoping for. We clean up and I’m in desperate need of a shower.
I get up and walk over to Eoin, starting to unbutton his shirt. He gives me this salacious look as he reaches back and unzips my dress. I pull his shirt from his broad shoulders, never taking my eyes off his. I let my dress fall to the floor and pool at my feet.
Eoin slowly begins to take his belt off and walks backwards towards the bathroom. He puts his hand up and motions with his index finger to follow him. I purposefully saunter to him in my bra and panties. He smiles.
“You’re so beautiful with this little clothing on. Even more so if I take these off.” He pulls my panties down and kisses his way up my leg. He strategically unclips my bra, swiftly taking my nipple in his mouth and bites. I gasp.
He turns the shower on and pulls his slacks off, revealing a beastly erection that makes my jaw nearly fall off. Gracious, he’s perfect in every way possible!
We get in the shower and before he takes control, I drop to my knees and take him all the way in my mouth, making him groan in an incredibly sexy way.
“Damn, Lea. Slow. I want to be inside you, too.” With that, he pulls me up, not kissing me at all. He just looks at me, smiling, and pushes a strand of hair behind my ear. Tracing my face with his finger, I start to wonder where this is going.
“Everything okay, Eoin?” I ask as I push my cheek into his hand.
“I want to make love to you. Not in here, though. If we weren’t in a hurry, I’d take you to bed and sweetly love on you all day and into the night.” My heart almost jumps out of my throat. I smile and just kiss him gently on the lips.
“First thing when we get back to Georgia?” I ask.
“That was my plan. I’ve made arrangements for something special to be waiting as well.”
How do I tell him his company is enough and the gifts aren’t necessary? As soon as I question that, I push the idea out of my mind. He wouldn’t have it any other way.
We wash each other and get dressed. I glance at the time and look at Eoin.
“If we don’t leave right now, we’ll miss the flight back!”
“I’m ready when you are, Lea.” He’s calm! How can he be calm? I grab my bag and we race down to my car.
We pull out onto the street and I floor it. Eoin has this look on his face like he thinks we’re going to die.
“Lea, slow down!” he blurts out. I laugh.
“We’ll be okay. I know this city like the back of my hand, and we’re really late.” I’m going 90 miles per hour down I-25 and screech the tires on the I-70 exit. I look over and notice now he’s smiling.
“A woman of many traits, I see.” I shrug my shoulders and smile a huge ridiculous grin at him. He shakes his head and turns the music up.

We arrive at DIA 45 minutes late - we’ll miss our flight if security is a mess. As we reach the terminal, I can see people are beginning to notice the seriously hot guy with me. Gah, some of them probably recognize him, too!
Just as a group of women start to head our way, someone grabs my arm. I whirl around to find a menacing looking female guard pointing to a door off to our side.
“This way, Lea and Eoin.” She knows my name, too! That’s a bit strange. We follow her to a corridor and pop out ahead of security.
“You rock! Thank you so much,” Eoin says as he hugs the young woman. She politely asks for a picture with Eoin, so I grab her phone and snap one. As I turn to grab my bag, she asks for one with me! I, of course, say yes.
“Thank you so much, Eoin. I love your show and all the great work you and your foundation do!” She says this with so much enthusiasm, I think her face may end up frozen with the expression on it right now. Eoin kisses and hugs her again, and she turns to thank me as well.
“You are most welcome-” I pause briefly, realizing we didn’t get her name, so I look at her name tag, “-Tammy. It was a pleasure meeting you. Thank you very much for saving us from a mob.”
With a crazy happy giggle, she nods and scurries off over to a few other security guards. They all crowd around her, laughing and looking at the pictures. I look over at Eoin and nod my head in their direction.
“Go take one with all of them. We’ve got almost 40 minutes to wait now and she was nice enough to help.” He smiles.
“I wanted to but not unless you were okay with it.” He pulls me into a long sweet kiss, making the group of security guards hoot and holler out.
“Thank you, Lea.”
“No thanks needed.” I wink and he heads over to them. I pull my phone out and take a quick shot of him with his fans and almost snort at the fact that used to be me! I used to envy the fans lucky enough to run into him as they were going about their day.
I look at my watch and I decide to call Crystal to give her an update on what has happened. Of course, she’s with Chris, so it’s short.
“What a piece of shit he is, dude! I saw that article and didn’t even put it together. Did Eoin smash him?” she asks, managing to laugh despite her anger. I let out a short bark of laughter, too.
“No, but he slammed him into the wall and I thought he was going to put him straight through it. How are things with Chris?”
“He’s really great. I’m so happy I met him. We’re getting ready to go to the movies right now. How are things with Eoin? Stupid question, I know, but I had to ask.”
I tell her about all the wonderful things he did for me in Atlanta. Well, before Trent ruined it, which pisses her off again. I hear our flight being called and see that Eoin is already walking towards me.
“Okay, I’ve got to get going but I’ll call soon. Have fun with Chris,” I say with a teasing voice.
“I already am, thank you. You try not to tire poor Eoin. He’s a busy man.”
“Talk soon. Love ya.” I hit end and turn to Eoin.
“Ready?” he asks.
“Yep.”

We board the plane and get comfortable. I lay my head on his shoulder and he kisses my forehead. He’s so sweet to me and it makes the butterflies in my stomach flutter like crazy.
He reads some emails and listens to music. I’m just starting to doze off when he takes one of the ear buds out of his ear.
“Listen to this song. It rocks.” I put it in my ear and
Reckoner
by Radiohead comes on. I look up at him and just smile.
“I still can’t believe you even like the same music as me! This is one of my favorite songs by them - the video is amazing.”
“I look forward to finding everything we have in common, Lea. So far, you’re the girl of my dreams.” He flushes and I can’t help but do the same. I give him a kiss on his cheek.
“You had me smitten before I even met you. I can’t even tell you how much more I’ve come to not only love, but respect you since I’ve known you.”
He gets this grin on his face that makes me swoon inside. I decide to change the subject before he becomes part of the Mile High Club.
“What else do you have planned for us in Atlanta, Eoin?” I give him my best puppy dog eyes and pout.
“It’s a surprise,” he teases, “but we’ll definitely finish the meal we missed, only this time, we’re going to enjoy it at my condo instead.”
Oh!
The thought pulls in a familiar spot. I can’t help but think of what will be for dessert. Well, I do know what I’d
like
to have… Him.
We chat about a range of things, from his latest acting role to his foundation’s work. Watching and listening to him talk is amazing - he’s so down to earth and fun, yet so incredibly intelligent.
That was what made me fall for him in the first place: his sheer compassion and strive to help change the planet for the better. He helps educate our younger generation on how to look after our precious Earth, and even teaches the older ones a thing or two.
I could literally sit and pick his brain for hours. He makes it so easy, just letting it all come out. We keep talking about little things, and he asks why I named my restaurant Conrad’s.
“That’s my father’s name. He died in ‘06 and it was my legacy to him, my way of remembering him.” I smile to try hide my hurt, but of course, he’s too smart for that.
“I bet he’s so proud of the great chef and person you’ve become, Lea.” I let out a huge breath.
“Thank you, Eoin,” I reply softly. “I’m sure he is.” He laces his fingers softly with mine and the feeling is so natural, it takes my breath away. “How do you deal with being famous?”
“So many celebrities think it’s an inconvenience to be famous but I think it’s awesome how many people, our fans, support us. After all, without them we’d be out of work.”
“I like that. You’re always very nice to them,” I reply with a smirk, biting the tip of my tongue.
“I’m especially lucky because now, I get to have you whenever I want,” he says with a laugh. “Yes, you stood out. There’s something about you, Lea, that drives me crazy.”
Oh, I can die happy now. That was the best compliment
ever
. Not only that, but Eoin freaking Skye said it to me!
The fasten seat belt sign comes on and we make our descent into the Atlanta airport.
ä
Of course, there are media and fans everywhere. How the hell do they know Eoin’s every move? These are the fans that I feel are
way
out of line. I mean, he needs some privacy, right? I dare not tell him that, though. I just feel that they need to respect his space more.
I walk through the crowd with him and he handles it perfectly, as usual. I admire a man that can put up with crazy-ass women like that. It has to get to him sometimes, though… Right?
We get in the car and head to his condo. I’m so tired at this point that I could sleep for days. Again, I try and steal some shut eye. Just as I drift off, my phone rings. It’s Jessie.
“Everything okay?” is how I answer, instead of my usual hello. I’m worried and almost freaking out.
“Our party cancelled. They said they wouldn’t eat food that wasn’t supervised by, or cooked by you.” I can hear the disappointment in his voice.
“I’ll call them now. Continue prepping for tomorrow because they
will
be there or they’ll be charged for the cost of the ingredients. Either way, we’re getting our money.” There’s silence on the other end of the phone.
“Don’t worry, Jessie. They’re just being snobs.”
“Okay, Chef. Let me know but either way, I’ll keep going.” He pauses. “Thank you, by the way.” I’m not sure what to say, so I just hang up.
I feel horrible he was put in that spot by such arrogant customers. As I put my phone back in my bag, I notice Eoin taking his shirt off. What the hell? He has a white undershirt on that reveals his edible arms.
I feel the familiar ping of desire spark through me but I shake it off.
“I need to make an important call, Eoin. Please forgive me,” I add, trying not to appear rude.
“Lea, your call is work-related. I want that to be your top priority.” I expect a wink from him after this but I get a serious look instead, so I nod and make my call.
I let the customer know I’m still very much a part of the party preparations, even though I’m away. I also add firmly that Jessie is very capable of getting exactly what they want done and that if I didn’t believe so, I wouldn’t have left.
After much convincing and assurance, they agree to continue. I’m glad that I didn’t have to tell them that either way, they would be paying for our service.
I call Jessie back when we arrive at Eoin’s. He’s relieved to hear that he can continue with the party preparations. I give him a few more pointers on how to make the customers feel extra special before hanging up.
