They drove back to Dev’s apartment on Sahara. Although he’d planned this, and there was no way he could get around it anyway, he still wasn’t sure about how he felt about it in practice. He reasoned with himself that as he’d already let her get inside his car, letting her inside his apartment was no big deal. That’s what he kept telling himself anyway.

He opened the door and stood to one side to let Ella in. It didn’t seem like he was going into shock yet, he felt quite calm. So, there was now a girl in his last girl free zone. He stood and looked at her. One thing that really did surprise him was just how much he wanted her there.
