JINWUNG KIM
(Kim, Chin-ung) is Professor of History at Kyungpook National University in Taegu, South Korea. He was a Fulbright Scholar at Rutgers University between 1992 and 1993. In 2002 Virginia Military Institute appointed Kim to the Eugenio Lopez Visiting Chair for Asian Studies in the Department of History and in the Department of International Studies. He has published widely on South Korean–U.S. relations, with a particular focus on South Korean perceptions of the United States.
