“Dylan!” Cait cried out and dug her heel into his buttock, urging him to sink forward and bury himself in her.

“What is it, baby?” Dylan let go of her hands as he moved back to kneel between her legs. “Do you want this?” He continued to rub the head of his cock against her.

“Yes,” she gasped.

Dylan gave her a wicked smile. He put his palms against the inside of her thighs and pushed them wider apart. His head lowered, and his mouth latched upon her pussy.

Cait nearly screamed at the unexpected delight. Her body was sensitive from the earlier ministrations of his lips, teeth, and tongue. The stubble on his chin rasped her delicate flesh.

He lapped at her until she was a mass of quivering jelly. She fought to keep from coming. She clamped her thighs around his head and tried to shove him back. “Enough, Dylan!”

He lifted his head and gave her a sexy smile. “Are you sure?”

“Yes.”

His thumb traced the outline of her swollen clit. “What do you want me to do? Say it, Cait.”

Cait answered without hesitation. “I want you to fuck me.”

Dylan rose up over her, his tanned flesh providing a counterpoint to the frame of her pale thighs. Cait ran her toes along his backside and delighted in the firm muscles located there. He held his cock and put it against the entrance of her body.

Cait sucked in a breath and watched his face as he slid forward. The tip entered her, and inch by aching inch, he sank deep inside her until he was fully seated. He put his hands under her knees and pushed her legs forward. The position opened her wider. Her hips were tilted at an angle that guaranteed his cock would tease her clit as he stroked in and out.

He remained on his knees. She watched him as he pulled out and then slowly sank back inside. She loved the flush on his cheeks, and the tense look of his jaw. She adored the heat in his eyes that turned the caramel color to deep honey.

Dylan changed the angle of his thrusts, and she couldn’t focus on his face anymore. She closed her eyes and allowed her body to be carried away with a tidal wave of pleasure. His cock stretched the inner walls of her pussy.

He filled her in a way she’d never been filled before. With him, sex felt like coming home, like the last twenty-nine years of her life had led to this moment. It was almost as if the disasters of her previous relationships had never happened, and she was with the one person meant for her.

Cait wrenched her thoughts away from uncharted territory. She was letting sex with Dylan cloud her judgment. She should not let his incredible sex appeal trick her into thinking this meant anything more than it did. It was two friends coming together on Valentine’s Day for one day of pleasure. Tomorrow things would go back to normal.

Dylan’s seductive voice intruded on her internal debate. “Baby, you are concentrating awfully hard.”

Cait’s eyes popped open, and she lifted her hands to place them on Dylan’s chest, which was damp with sweat. “I’m just letting it all sink in.”

Dylan pressed forward. “You mean that kind of sinking?”

She smiled and arched her back like a cat begging to be petted. “We should have done this years ago.”

Dylan gave her a cocky smile. “Are you enjoying yourself then?”

She nodded and stroked her hands down to his lean belly. “Yes. Are you?”

“If you have to ask then I must not be doing my job.”

Their conversation faded as Dylan set out to prove just how good he could be. Cait’s moans grew in volume until the room echoed with her sounds of delight.

Dylan leaned forward and put his mouth next to her ear. A low growl emitted from his throat. “I love that you’re vocal in bed.”

Cait smoothed a hand down his back. She marveled at the muscles that bunched beneath her fingertips. “Did you think I wouldn’t be?”

“I hoped you were. I’m not surprised you are.” Dylan braced his hands next to her head and pressed forward to sink deeper and deeper with each stroke. “Damn, baby. You feel so good.”

Cait put her hands around his waist, and her fingertips dug into the edges of his firm buttocks. She held on as he rode her hard. “Oh, my God.”

She could feel it coming, the rubber band inside her twisting tighter and tighter until it finally snapped. She screamed as release poured over her in waves. Her hands fell away from his body and landed outstretched on the mattress.

She went limp, cries pouring from her lips as Dylan pounded faster. Seconds later, he went taut and sank onto her as his body jerked with release.

They lay together, sweaty and spent, neither speaking as their harsh breathing filled the room. Dylan turned his head and kissed her shoulder, his lips lingering on her skin.

“Baby, that was…” He lifted his head and pinned her gaze with his. “Wow.”

She gave him a sleepy smile. “Just wow?”

He grinned back. “What would you call it?”

He turned on his side and cradled her body in his arms.

Cait lifted her hand and drew lazy circles in the air. “Stupendous? Amazing? Out of this world spectacular?”

Dylan captured her hand, kissed the knuckles and held it to his chest. “Your praise warms my very soul.”

Cait snuggled against his warm chest and gave a contented sigh. “Can we do it again soon?”

Dylan laughed out loud. “Baby, we can do it as many times as you like.”

“Good.” Cait yawned and rested her head on his arm, using it like a pillow.

Her eyes grew heavy, and she closed them. Dylan stroked her arm up and down in a gentle caress. Cait fell asleep with a smile on her face, curled in the arms of her friend who had just became so much more.

Chapter 7

The shadows lengthened across the room and grazed the bed.

Dylan glanced at the clock on the bedside table and sighed. It was nearly six o’clock.

He hated to wake Cait. She was sleeping so peacefully on his shoulder, but they had reservations for dinner at seven. He knew she would want time to shower and get dressed.

“Cait.” He whispered her name, but she didn’t stir. He said her name again, but louder this time.

Her eyes fluttered, and then the green orbs focused sleepily on him. “Umm hmm?”

“Are you awake?”

He enjoyed the sight of her like this. Other than a few overnight camping trips in each other’s backyards when they were eight years old, he had never watched her sleep.

“I’m awake.” Cait stretched, her arms going overhead and lifting her breasts in a manner that tempted him to cup them in his palms. The sheet was low on her hips, exposing the jut of her hipbones and the sexy curve of her waist.

Dylan pressed a kiss on the tip of her pert nose. “We need to get ready. Our reservation is at seven.”

She reached for the sheet and pulled it over her nakedness. “Can’t we just stay in bed?”

He would love nothing more, but he still wanted to make the night memorable. He’d only just begun to show her all he planned.

“Later, baby. I’m not through with you yet.”

Cait wrapped her hand around his nape and pulled him down for a slow thorough kiss. “Is that a promise?”

“Yes.” Dylan tossed aside the cover and climbed out of the bed. He reached for her and pulled her to the edge of the mattress. “Let’s go take a shower.”

“Together?” An adorable frown crossed Cait’s face.

Dylan cupped her cheek and leaned down to give her a quick kiss. He pulled away and watched her expression. “You don’t want company?”

Cait bit her lip as if undecided. “I’ve just never showered with a guy before.”

Now that surprised him. Dylan drew back. “Seriously?”

She gave a quick nod. “Yes, I’m serious! What girl wants to try to shave their legs or armpits with a guy watching?”

Dylan chuckled at the disgusted face she made. “Do you need to shave?”

She shook her head. “No.”

He pulled her to a standing position and rubbed his hand along her spine. “Sometimes a guy and girl can shower together just for fun. Do you mind if I join you?”

Cait blushed, but her eyes twinkled. “I must warn you that I like a hot shower.”

His lips curved into a smile. “What a coincidence, so do I.”

They raced to the shower, elbowing each other playfully to make it through the bathroom door first. Dylan won, and he opened the shower door. He leaned in to adjust the taps.

When he was confident the water was right, he stepped back to allow Cait to test the temperature. “How’s that?”

She stuck her fingers under the spray of water and smiled. “Perfect.”

Cait stepped into the shower and turned her face up to the spray. Dylan instantly hardened at the sight.

The water flattened her hair and darkened her natural red to chestnut brown. Strands clung to her cheeks and shoulders. Droplets of water slid down her arms, and a cascade of water caressed her breasts. It was the most erotic thing Dylan had ever seen in his life. His hands practically itched to get his camera and photograph her, but he knew she would never allow it.

For someone who possessed such natural beauty and sexuality, Cait loathed to show it off. It was a welcome relief from his clients, who usually expected to be fawned over and complimented at every turn. He adored the sensual shape of her body, and her gorgeous face.

Cait was perfect, and she didn’t even know it. Her slim waist, curvy hips, and ass were any man’s dream. Her legs were long, even though she was petite, with firm thighs and tight calves. Her breasts were full and rosy tipped, just begging to be tasted.

Cait smoothed her hands over her hair and turned her back to the spray. She swiped a hand across her face to brush water from her eyes and gave him a questioning look. “Are you coming?”

His body jerked to attention at her choice of words. He was damned close, that was the problem. When he looked at Cait, his cock threatened to explode. He willed his body to behave and stepped into the shower.

Cait stepped toward the back of the square tiled area to give him room to get under the spray from the shower head. The warm water soothed his tight muscles, and he dropped his head forward, so it could flow over his neck.

He turned to face Cait and ran his gaze along her body. While she shampooed her hair with a fruity-smelling concoction, he ran his hands along the curve of her ass. He dropped his fingers lower, wanting to delve between her thighs.

Cait smacked his hands away and covered him with sudsy liquid. “No funny business, mister.”

He ran a teasing finger down the cleft of her ass. “Not even a little?”

“Absolutely not. Not after you woke me up to tell me we’re on a tight schedule, remember?”

How could he forget? The reminder of their reservation was the only thing that kept him from bending her over and taking her from behind like he longed to do. But there would be time for that later. He wanted to continue the events he had planned for Cait’s entertainment. There were still several things he wanted to show her.

He wanted her to experience all the delights of Vegas. He wanted to be there with her while she did. He wanted to be the one to show her.

Hell, he wanted
everything
with her.

Dylan reached for the soap and cleansed his body. He hated to wash the scent of her from his skin, but it would not be long until he tasted her again. Within a few hours, he would have her in bed, screaming his name.

Once their shower was finished, they toweled each other dry. Dylan propped a towel-clad hip on the counter and watched as Cait applied her makeup. He’d taken a few classes in college and knew the basics of makeup artistry. Cait was a natural with it.

She applied her eyeliner and mascara with a light hand, which enhanced the emerald color of her eyes. Her full, lush mouth went from coral pink to a vibrant red as she slicked a gloss over her lips.

“You look beautiful,” he remarked as he leaned past her to snag his toothbrush and toothpaste.

“Yeah, right,” she snorted.

“I’m serious.” Dylan stuck his toothbrush in his mouth and didn’t continue to praise her like he wanted to.

It would be coming on much too strong, which was not his usual mode of operation. With Cait, all his good sense went right out the door.

Cait’s hair was still damp as she pulled it into a loose bun and pinned it at the back of her head. Tiny curls escaped and framed her face. It was an enchanting style on her. She was sensual without even trying.

Dylan finished brushing his teeth and left Cait to finish up in the bathroom by herself. He fetched a pair of boxer briefs from his bag and dropped his towel to pull them on. He dressed in black slacks and a red, button-up shirt.

Typically he preferred casual clothes, but the occasion warranted that he dress up. He’d booked a romantic dinner and wrangled tickets for a show. It had not been easy to arrange, but he’d managed to do it while Cait was sleeping earlier.

Cait came out of the bathroom and retrieved her underwear. She pulled on a tiny black thong, his personal favorite of the items he’d bought that morning, and a black bra that fastened in the front. He couldn’t wait until he got her back to the hotel, and he could unclasp it. Tiny pink flowers dotted the bra, and he’d chosen it because he thought Cait would like it. She’d been a floral gal ever since she’d grown out of her tomboy stage, forever wearing dresses or jewelry designed with roses and daises.

Dylan fetched the mini dress she’d seemed fond of that morning from the closet. In the muted lighting, the silver dress sparkled with tints of green and pink. He handed it to Cait, and she thanked him as she slid it over her head. The dress slithered past her hips, and she jiggled her boobs with her forearms as she straightened the bodice.

“Do you think it’s too tight?” She smoothed her hands over the fabric and bit her lip.

Dylan eyed her and couldn’t imagine a more ravishing sight. “It’s perfect.”

She tilted her head to one side as if to gauge how honest he was being. “Do you swear I don’t look like a hooker?”

He rolled his eyes. “No, why would you think you look like a hooker?”

“It’s so…” Cait looked down at the dress then back up at him. “Flashy. That’s the word.”

“It’s so
you
, Cait.” Dylan did in his best imitation of a New York fashion designer. He’d worked with several of them during his stint as a photographer and had the sound down to an art.
