“Lord Landon, I’m getting reports that your raid was a success.  Well done!” Cole quickly adjusted the volume on his console so not to wake Olivia.

“Thank you Carlson, the prisoners should be arriving at your doorstep in a few hours.”

“Yes, great, I’ve begun to make arrangements.  The general will be pleased to meet this Alistair.  We both applaud you, your plan worked beautifully.  What do you plan on doing about the girl?”

Cole looked down at Olivia, slumbering peacefully in his arms.

“I know what I have to do.”

“I’m sure you do, Cole,” Carlson said, ending the feed.

His console turned off and the carriage was again returned to darkness.  It took them a few hours to get back to the fort and he was exhausted, but Cole couldn’t bring himself to fall asleep.  He spent most of the time watching her and thinking about what he wanted to do verse what he had to.

.     .     .

Olivia woke ever so slightly; she was in a soft bed, with a warm body pressed up against hers.  She felt a familiar hardness and pressed herself up against it.  A hand went to her hip, gently stroking the naked skin.  She let out a murmur of pleasure as she slowly came to consciousness.  Lips went to her neck, kissing her gently.  She pressed harder against the body next to her and was rewarded with a deep growl.  Cole pushed her onto her back and moved on top of her.  She lifted her eyelids, but they were still so heavy it took a few times before she could keep them open and focus on the man who was stroking her thighs, coaxing them to open.

She spread her legs open wide for him and he slipped between them, lining up his hard member with her entrance.  He ran is cock up and down her lips a few times, causing her to moan in impatience.  Her arms went around his neck, pulling him down to her.

“Please, Cole,” she whispered, needing to feel him, all of him.

He traced her lips with his finger, being careful to avoid the scab where her lip was split.  His eyebrows came together in a deep frown.

“I’m sorry, Livie.  I’m sorry for everything.” His voice was full of sorrow.

She shook her head; all she could focus on was his touch, all she wanted was more of it.  She didn’t need his apology.  Not right then.  She’d work out her feelings for him tomorrow, tonight she needed him.

“Cole, just take me,” she begged, wiggling against his tormenting cock.

He groaned, complying with her demand and pushed inside her.  Olivia moaned in satisfaction, her back arching as pleasure licked through her entire body.  Cole lost himself to her response and started to thrust in and out of her, needing to make her fully his, to make her realize no one else would ever compare.

“Feel me, Olivia.  Feel me deep inside you.  Only I’m ever going to make you feel this good.  No one else will ever fuck you the way I can.”

Her body shuddered at his words.  She tried to reach out, to touch him, but he grabbed her wrists and pinned her to the bed.

“No, just feel me fucking you.  I’m going to make you cum, Livie, with just my cock.  You’re going to cum so fucking hard without me even having to touch you.”

His words were like liquid pleasure, pooling in her most sensitive spots.  She shook her head, he was so arrogant.  She needed him to touch her, to play with her clit if she was going to cum.  He changed the angle of his thrusts just the littlest bit and all of a sudden she wasn’t so sure that was true anymore.  Cole continued to whisper to her in a deep, rough, voice.  The dirty words and penetrating thrusts made her entire body coil up.  She clung to him, spurred him on, rode wave after wave of desire until her body exploded with pleasure.  Her vision went fuzzy and her entire body rocked around his as she screamed his name.

It took her some time to come down from her orgasm and he slowed his thrusts, giving her a chance to collect herself.  When she looked back at him and he was satisfied that she’d fully returned to herself he flipped her on her stomach and lifted her hips.  He pressed his cock against her rear.  She instantly tensed.

“Relax, Livie,” he cooed, stroking her back. “I’m going to be the first for you in as many ways as I can.  I’m going make you cum so hard you’ll never look at another man the same.”

He ran his fingers over her legs and butt, messaging her body, and coaxing her to calm down.  It was working, she was softening.

“Do you trust me?” he asked, bending over her and swirling his tongue around her earlobe.

She didn’t respond, his ministrations were making her pant anew and she started to push into him, rubbing her rear against his hard cock.

“Do you trust me?” He pressed between her cheeks and moved a hand to gently tease one of her breasts.

“Yes.” It was barely more than a moan.

Cole slowly pushed against her tight entrance, his member already slick with her juices.  He gritted his teeth and took long pulls of breath, steadying himself and forcing himself to go slowly.  Every time she tensed up he rubbed her shoulders, teased her breasts, and kissed her neck until she relaxed again.  Her breathing came in and out in loud hisses as he stretched a part of her that’d never been violated before.  She wasn’t sure if the sensation felt good or bad, he just made her feel unbelievably full.  She started to murmur his name.  His lips never left her body as he covered her in encouraging kisses.

“That’s my girl,” he purred against her skin. “Relax, that’s it, baby.  You’re so incredibly tight.”

When he fully sheathed himself in her ass, he stopped, letting her get accustomed to the feeling.  He caressed her body, keeping her alive with arousal, his hand slipped to her pussy, fondling her sensitive folds.  She moaned and rocked against him, the feeling causing her moan to deepen.  He took this as a cue and started slowly moving in and out of her.  Her moans grew louder as he picked up his pace, his hand still playing with her pussy.

“Do you like that?” he asked, moving in a few shallow thrusts followed by a deeper one.

She nodded, starting to move on his cock, increasing the depth and pace of their thrusts.  He moaned as she pushed all the way back, burying him completely.  She didn’t expect him to feel this good, but he did.  The feeling of him deep inside her was making her crazed with need.  She could already feel the initial sparks of a new orgasm.  She moved a hand to play with her clit, but he slapped it aside, replacing her hand with his own.

“I’m going to make you cum.  Remember, I’m the only one that can make you moan in pleasure.  You’ll only ever call my name as you cum.  Only me.” His voice was a mix between a promise, a threat, and a wish.

He flicked her clit and she cried out.  “Please Cole, more!  Don’t stop.  Cole, Cole, Cole, I need you!”

“That’s right, Olivia, beg me.  Know who owns your body.  You’ll always belong to me.”

He strummed her clit while moving in deep, powerful strokes.  She came so hard and long she was worried she’d pass out.  Her moans gave him the little extra push he needed and Cole came too.  He spurt inside her with such a powerful release he had to grip her hips to keep him steady.  They stayed together like that until his cock stopped twitching and her heart stopped pounding.  He bent his body over hers so he could stroke her hair and nibble at her skin.  Her entire body prickled with sensitivity and she wiggled against his touch, even just his lips were too much for her.

With a sigh, he rolled off of her and got up out of bed.  She watched him go to his desk, confusion befuddling her face.  Was he going to do work now, after what they just did?  He came back to her, holding out a bottle of water in one hand and two little pills in the other.  She looked at him, her eyebrows knit together.

“Take them, they’ll help you sleep, that’s all.  I promise.”

Something about the way he looked at her made her take them without argument.  She swallowed the pills and washed them down with half the bottle of water.  Cole climbed into bed next to her and pulled her into his embrace.  He held her as she drifted off to sleep.

“You’re mine, Olivia.  You’ll always be mine.  Just like I’m utterly yours.” His words sounded so strange, so sad, like something had ended between them.

She wanted to ask him about it, but she couldn’t keep her eyes open.

“I’m so sorry for everything I’ve done to you, it wasn’t right,” he said, kissing the top of her head.

She fell asleep still trying to work out his words.  He stayed in bed with her a little longer, trying to engrain the feel of her slumbering against him.  He ran his fingers across her skin and watched her face turn peaceful with sleep.  Eventually he pulled away from her.  Getting out of bed, he got dressed and clicked on his watch console.

“Be ready, I’ll be set to depart in five minutes, got that?”

CHAPTER 20

Olivia woke up in bed.  Her head pounded and her throat was dry.  It took her a few minutes for the haze to clear and for her to realize she was in her own bed, in her own room.  She gasped, throwing off the covers and looking around.  She was dressed in a pair of silk pajamas, her cuffs were gone.  On unsteady feet, she stumbled out of the room.  She walked down the hallway, running her fingers along the wall as if needing confirmation they were real.  She managed to get downstairs and walked into an empty restaurant.  Music boomed from the kitchen and she slowly moved toward it.  She looked around, her gaze concerned, like she’d never been in her own restaurant.  She peeked through the window in the kitchen door, worried about who might be on the other side.  She sighed in relief.  Tony turned around to the sound of the kitchen doors opening.  He put down his prep work and went to her with open arms.

“Well, hello there, sleepy head,” he smiled.

“Tony?” she squeaked out.

“Come here, honey.  Come sit.” Tony led her to a stool and sat her down at the prep table. “Let’s get some food in you, you must be starving.”

“How did I get here?” she asked, blindly accepting the glass of water he gave her.

“Republic soldiers dropped you off yesterday morning.” She looked at him bewildered so he continued. “They said you were vital in helping bring the war to its end and that you needed rest.”

She nodded, taking small sips of water.  He made her breakfast, all the time talking about how proud of her he was.  She wasn’t really listening.  She ran her hands up and down her arms, looking around the kitchen as if it were foreign to her.  Tony put a plate down in front of her and she ate slowly.  Getting a little food in her stomach helped regain her composure, she felt more herself as she watched Tony prep for dinner service.

“How’s the restaurant been since… since I’ve been gone?”

He smiled. “Outstanding, thanks to the buzz from those deliveries.”

“Deliveries?” she asked.

“You don’t know? Oh, ho, ho!  Come with me.” Tony grabbed her hand and pulled her to the storage closet; it had a new lock on it.

Tony pulled a key from his pocket and unlocked it.  Opening the door and stepping aside he revealed case after case of wine; red, white, rose, and sparkling.  She gasped.

“I’ve kept it locked up in here, waiting for you to decide what you’d like to do with it.  Olivia,” Tony almost giggled, handing her the key. “We could make a fortune!”

She was speechless.

.     .     .

A month later, the restaurant was teeming with people.  The waitlist nearly overwhelmed the host as more and more people came in.  They all passed a sandwich board advertising glasses of fine wine at an affordable price.  Olivia was flying around the dining room, dropping off plates of food, filling wine glasses, and talking with the customers.  Every now and then, she self-consciously ran her fingers across her cheek, the bruising completely gone now, but her memory of it still so very vivid.

She worked every day since her return.  She loved working on the floor; it was such a mad house that it kept her completely distracted.  It kept her from thinking about him.  Where was he, what was he doing?  She saw his picture in the paper, the commanding hero that saved the Republic and brought peace to all the Districts.  Just his photo made her chest constrict.  She still didn’t understand her feelings for him.  Every night, she went to bed aching for his touch.  She dreamt of his lips caressing her, of his fingers stroking her, of him taking her.  In the mornings she awoke sad and alone, like she lost him all over again.

So, she worked like a mad woman, keeping herself as distracted as possible.  There were endless people who wanted to talk with her about where she got her wine and if she lost her mind selling it for practically nothing.  She would smile and respond that she wanted everyone to try and enjoy such a simple pleasure that so few could, until now. And she looked forward to that one glass she allotted herself every night after the restaurant closed.  Sometimes, she’d sit with Tony and they’d enjoy a glass together, he never asked her about what happened and she never divulged.  Mostly she took her glass out onto the porch and sat and stared off into the night sky.  She was thinking about her end of day glass of wine when a server pulled her to the side.

“There’s a man at table fourteen who wants to speak with you.” Her eyebrow rose, questioningly, “He didn’t say why, he just wanted to talk with you.”

She nodded and headed out to the porch.  The table was in the corner, dimly lit and obscured by the other tables and customers.  She smiled and nodded to people as she made her way across the porch.  A man sat there, sipping on a glass of red wine.

When she saw him, she stopped, she bit her lip and stood there.  He smiled sheepishly at her.

“Hello, Livie.  I was wondering if maybe you’d like to have dinner with me.”
