"Why
not?" he says. "We have been spending a lot of time lately just holed
up in here, this is probably a good thing."

Not
that he regrets even the briefest second of their time spent holed up in here,
but still. According to Annie's message, she and the rest of their friends are
looking for just any signs of life at this point, and he must admit that he
kind of misses hanging out with them. Annie, especially; it's been a while
since the two of them last had an in-depth and borderline inappropriate
conversation, given how Dominic and Killian have been completely wrapped up in
each other lately. Thankfully though, Annie doesn't seem too upset about it, no
doubt wrapped up in boy-related matters of her own, which makes Dominic feel a
bit better.

Killian
groans.

"But
why?" he repeats, an almost whining edge to his tone, and Dominic scoffs.

"Well,
Howard Hughes," he says. "We need to go outside into the real world,
once in a while. You know, like adults. Or, whatever. It'll be fun."

Killian
sighs heavily, clearly exaggerating the nuisance of it all, before he slumps
against Dominic's body.

"Fine,"
he says, giving Dominic's
adam's
apple a playful lick
and making him squirm. "Because we're grown-ups."

Hanging out with
Annie and the others does turn out to be a lot of fun, all of them having an
impromptu get-together at Marcel's dorm, the patio deck and string lights
around it creating an atmosphere just as pleasant and warm as Dominic remembers
from his first visit. There's talking and dancing, a few drinking games that
leave some of them rather hammered, but Dominic has no objections. Killian even
kisses him in front of everybody, something which he hasn't done before, and
although Dominic is certain it's largely thanks to the alcohol involved, he's
not about to complain. The genuine affection, the sheer
normalcy
of it, is something that feels so much better than he ever
thought it could.

At
the end of the night, Dominic goes home with Killian. Neither of them even
brings it up or questions it
―they have been
spending almost every waking moment together this past week after all, so it's
really a no-brainer. Still, when they step inside the front door, the apartment
dark apart from some pale moonlight shining in through the windows, Dominic
feels the slightest apprehension. It occurs to him that he hasn't actually
spent the night here before, and that given their track record, Killian might
not want him to. Actually, it's very likely that he won't want him to, and
Dominic lingers in the hall as Killian kicks off his shoes and makes his way
inside. The two of them are both pleasantly drunk and tired at this point, and
he sways a little as he walks, before stopping to turn around and look at
Dominic.

"You
coming?" he says, as though he shouldn't even have to ask, and Dominic
shifts where he stands.

"I
can leave, if you want," he says lamely, gesturing with his thumb over his
shoulder, wondering how best to put it. But Killian just frowns.

"What?"
he says, his voice as unfocused in its tone as Dominic's. Dominic shrugs.

"I
mean, I can go, I know we don't―"

"Shut
the fuck up," Killian says tiredly, cutting him off. "Get in
here."

Dominic
just blinks, momentarily stunned, and Killian holds out his hand in a pointed
gesture, prompting Dominic to take his shoes off and step into the open space
of the apartment. Killian grabs his hand with his own, steering him toward the
bed. There's nothing urgent about it, nothing eager or demanding. Instead, he
just releases Dominic when he gets there, and starts undressing, before
slipping underneath the covers, Dominic following right behind him.

It's
the strangest thing. As they lie there together, wearing nothing but underwear
and with warm skin pressed against skin, Dominic wants nothing more than to
just stay there forever. He wants to touch, to hold, to inhale Killian's scent
and fall asleep to the sound of his breathing, arms wrapped around him and with
Killian's body pressed against his own. It's what he wants, and as Killian
shuffles closer and flings one arm over his chest, tucking his head into the
crook of his neck, Dominic knows the feeling is mutual. By some drunken,
infatuated impulse, he presses a kiss against Killian's dark hair, earning a
contented sigh in return.

He
closes his eyes, Killian's breathing slow and steady against his skin. This is
all he wants, and he wouldn't trade it for anything.

It's the feeling
of the mattress dipping behind him that wakes Dominic up the next morning, the
weight of another body making him shift ever so slightly. It's only a moment
later that he feels warm skin press against his bare back, and he smiles, eyes
still closed.

"Morning,"
he murmurs, and Killian presses his lips against his neck in a slow, warm kiss.
There's no reply. Instead, Killian just makes a sleepy, content sound, as he
snakes his arm around Dominic's waist, over his stomach―and down to his
crotch, where he deliberately smoothes his hand over the already half-hard
bulge underneath the boxers. Dominic makes a small sound of pleased surprise.
"Seriously?"

His
voice is still sleep-drunk, and Killian replies by massaging with his fingers
and nuzzling against Dominic's neck. It feels really good, too.

"I'm
horny," he murmurs, and Dominic actually scoffs.

"Oh,
you're horny?" he says. He doesn't really need to ask, since he can feel
something hard already pressing against his ass, and Killian hums in
confirmation. "So what, no morning cuddles, no nothing?"

Killian
nips his skin with his teeth, creating a pleasant shiver that does nothing but
enhance the very sweet feeling between Dominic's legs.

"How
about morning glory?" Killian says cheekily, and Dominic lets out a groan,
both in frustration and pleasure, because Killian's touch is already driving
him insane.

"Scoundrel,"
he mutters, and just like that, Killian's hand disappears. Dominic barely has
time to feel disappointed, however, before he has been flipped over onto his
back, and Killian is climbing up on top of him.

"Don't
make me kick you out of bed, Dom-Dom," he says, straddling Dominic's hips
and leaning down over him. Dominic eyes his face, his chest, momentarily
stunned by the vision that is a sleepy, horny Killian, strands of dark hair
sticking out and falling into his eyes.

"Don't
ever call me that," he says. Killian's eyebrows go up.

"No?"
he says, leaning in closer. "Well, better make sure to keep my mouth busy,
then."

The look
in his eyes is positively impish, and Dominic can't help but smile as their
lips meet in a kiss, one that makes him inhale slowly, as though Killian is the
air he needs to survive.

"And
how do you propose to do that?" he murmurs against that heavenly mouth, to
which Killian growls softly in reply.

"If
you shut up," he says, "maybe you'll find out."

It's
not the most romantic thing to hear in the morning, but Dominic can live with
it. He just scoffs amusedly, while Killian starts kissing his way down his
throat, and Dominic slides his hands up along the thighs placed on either side
of him. He does it slowly, savoring it, and when he gets further up, he notices
that Killian is actually naked. It seems he took the pre-emptive measure of
getting his underwear off before he made his move, because Dominic distinctly
remembers him having them on last night. But although their absence is a
surprise, it's not one that he minds in the least. If anything, it makes him
even harder than he already is.

Killian
moves up to kiss him again, slowly and deeply, before he starts trailing his
mouth down along his chest, over his stomach, past his hips, and Dominic's
breath hitches a little. He could get used to this, he thinks, waking up to the
sound of Killian's voice, the scent of his skin, the way he smoothes his hands
down along his sides, taking Dominic's underwear with him as he goes. It's just
amazing, and
oh
god
, when he starts putting that wicked mouth to work, Dominic
swears he sees stars.

There's
not much to grab on to as Dominic moves his hand down to the back of Killian's
head, but he has found that the smooth buzz of the undercut feels just as good
against his fingers. He closes his eyes, tilting his head back into the pillow
as he moans breathily, trying to keep his hips still and let Killian work his
magic, but it is quite the challenge.

Thankfully,
Killian doesn't keep going for too long, and Dominic groans softly both in
relief and disappointment when he stops.

"Tease,"
he says, as Killian moves back up to kiss his neck.

"Just
getting you warmed up," Killian replies, and Dominic bites his lip at the
low, hoarse sound of that voice. Killian meets his mouth in a kiss, breathing
heavily as he pulls away. "Unless you're complaining?"

It's
a challenge, and Dominic is happy to play along.

"Just
get on with it,
douchebag
," he says, before
putting his hand behind Killian's neck to pull him back to his lips. It has the
desired effect; Killian huffs the smallest laugh as he melts into the kiss,
grinding his body down against Dominic's and twisting his fingers into his
hair. It sends surges of electricity through skin and nerves, and Dominic feels
like he might catch fire, his fingertips digging into Killian's hips and
shoulders, eliciting soft moans and heavy breaths from his throat.

Oh yes
, he could definitely get used to
this.

It's
not long before they both start reaching their breaking point, rutting slowly
against each other and tasting heat and sweat, and by the time Killian has been
prepped and readied by Dominic's eager fingers, the air around them is thick
with anticipation. Dominic can't take his eyes off of Killian, just watches
hungrily as he slowly rolls a condom on for him, and by the time Killian
straddles him to slowly push him inside, his mind has gone completely blank.
Well, except for this―Dominic can't imagine anything that might distract
him from the sight and feel of Killian Hayden riding him like it's the sweetest
thing in the world.

It's
all rather quick and inelegant, but so intense that it makes Dominic's vision
white out when he comes, and the sated, warm feeling that spreads through his
body as he's coming back down is just exquisite. Killian actually huffs a
satisfied laugh as he leans down to give Dominic a slow, breathless kiss,
before the two of them settle in for the drowsy afterglow that truly makes
morning sex the amazing thing that it is.

Said
afterglow leaves them both rather exhausted for several minutes, the air filled
with the sunlight that filters through the tall windows, and the silence is
only broken by the sound of a scoff, Killian uttering it with the tiniest smile
on his face.

"Shit,"
he says, as though mostly to himself. "I might actually like you, you
know."

Dominic
stiffens, slowly turns his head to look at the gorgeous boy next to him.

"What?"
he says, and Killian meets his gaze. "What did you just say?"

Killian
tries to look neutral at first, but the expression quickly morphs into one of
slightly embarrassed annoyance.

"Fuck,"
he mutters, turning away and looking back up at the ceiling.
"Nothing."

But
Dominic isn't about to give in so easily.

"No,
it was something," he says, amused, rolling onto his side and propping
himself up on his elbow. "What was it?"

"Jesus
Christ," Killian says irritably, avoiding his gaze. "Nothing,
alright? Forget I said anything."

"Oh,
no," Dominic says, an almost teasing smile spreading across his face, as
he moves

up to straddle Killian's hips.
"No take-
backsies
."

Killian
groans as Dominic sits down on top of him, grabbing his wrists and pressing
them into the pillows on either side of his head. He's clearly trying his very
best not to enjoy this treatment, but Dominic has learned to see right through
that abrasive front.

"Fuck
you," Killian says without malice, and Dominic leans down over his chest.

"Already
covered that," he says, smiling wider. "But you were saying something
else."

"I
swear to god, Dom―"

"You
like me," Dominic says with an amused grin. "Like,
like-
like me."

"If
you don't stop talking," Killian says with a threatening glance, "I'm
gonna stab you in the face."

Dominic
is undeterred, just raises his eyebrows as he leans in closer to Killian's
suddenly flushed face. Close enough to kiss, but he doesn't.

"Fine,"
he says, but there is nothing defeated about his tone. He keeps a small smile.
"But if it helps..." He kisses him then, just a brief touch of lips
between Killian's and his own. "Ditto."

Killian
still looks pissed, but damn it if his expression doesn't soften at least a
little bit, and Dominic tries not to feel too pleased about that. He can feel
Killian's wrists shift a little in his grip, in a way that tells him Killian is
doing his best not to look away in awkward discomfort―and it is just
adorable.
