Soaked and ground flax seeds in water daily and dandelion-root tea or dandelion coffee three times a day to get your bowels moving regularly, as good elimination is vital. The less your bowels move, the more compromised your immune system will be.

AVOID

Sugar, refined carbohydrates, alcohol, caffeine, salt, and processed foods. These all put a strain on the body and increase the toxic load.

Pork products, which are high in salt and fat that clog up the body. Abscesses indicate that the body’s organs of detoxification and the immune system are struggling.

HERBS AND SUPPLEMENTS

Liquid milk thistle, the liver-cleansing herb. Take daily to support detoxification and cleansing.

Take echinacea tincture to support the immune system.

Other useful herbs include burdock root, cayenne, dandelion root, red clover, and yellow dock root.

Take liquid chlorophyll drops as an internal cleanser.

Astragalus—go on a six-month course.

Take lactobacillus/probiotics in powder form.

Supplements include zinc, vitamin C with bioflavanoids powder or capsules, vitamin A, and vitamin E. You can also apply vitamin E directly to the abscess.

Fish oil capsules.

EXTRA TIPS

Apply manuka honey to external abscesses because it destroys viruses and bacteria and aids healing.
