It was almost bright when Sam awoke. Jay had his arm around her and was sleeping soundly on his back. She looked at him; he looked almost childlike, handsome. A smile crossed her face as she remembered the aching need she felt for him and the incredible release she had when she orgasmed.

Silently Sam got out of bed and went to the kitchen to pour herself a glass of juice. She took a sip of the cranberry juice and felt strong arms go around her. She leaned back against him and sighed.

“I woke up and you were gone.” He whispered into her hair. Sam turned around and wrapped her arms around his neck and kissed him deeply. “Come back to bed, sexy.” He took her hand and led her back to the bedroom.

Sam ran her fingers through his hair as his tongue filled her with pleasure. She wrapped her legs around him as he entered her again and gently began to make love to her. Slowly and tenderly, they moved together in unison. The pleasure was building intensely with every movement.

Chapter Five

The kettle boiled and Sam poured the boiling water over the coffee. The sun was streaming in the window. It was Sunday morning and she had spent hours making love to Jay. He was a very raunchy but considerate lover. And he was very gentle.

If she wasn

t careful, he could break her heart. As it was, she didn’t want him to leave. She felt certain that he would go back to his life and it would be difficult for her to return to hers after what they had shared. Sam had never had such raunchy sex like she did last night with Jay. He rocked her world and she was hungry for more. He opened a new world of pleasure to her and she was like a child with a new toy, she craved for more.

Sam wasn

t foolish enough to think that it was anything other than fantastic sex but she felt close to him, the intimacy they shared was something different. It was something special.

She brought him a mug of coffee. He was balancing himself on his elbow, grinning at her.

As he took the mug from her, his phone rang. His smile faded slightly as he answered it.

“Hey, Darlin”, His accent seemed stronger, sexier. “Of course I love you…..would I lie to you?” He laughed and Sam turned and stormed out of the bedroom.

She sat at the window mug in hand, looking out onto the street below. Of course he wasn

t going to tell the girl on the phone, he had just spent the evening in bed with another woman. When he was away on business, no doubt he did this all the time and she was just another one in a long line of women who shared a moment like this with him. The street below was empty. It was quiet.

Jay appeared at the door smiling. He walked over to her, bent his head and kissed her.

“I’
m sorry about that. I should turn that thing off.” Sam looked up at him and turned back to the window.

“Your girlfriend must be feeling very vulnerable with you being away.” As she said it, she couldn’t
believe how jealous and silly it sounded. Jay grinned and sat down beside her. He put his arm around her and kissed her cheek.

“You’
re jealous. That

s so nice.” Sam looked at him and anger flashed in her green eyes. He was a typical male. “She

s not my girlfriend, Tammy is my agent! She was confirming a booking on the national TV stations in Tokyo and Australia”. Sam looked at him as though he had two heads.
What was he saying?

As if guessing what she was thinking, Jay got up and went over to her stereo and picked up the CD cover and handed it to her. She took it and looked at it. It was the Glam Metal CD. Sam looked at him questioningly.

“Open it,” he said. Sam did. Inside the sleeve looking up at her were four hair metal guys, two with guitars. They were aged about twenty one. They were all wearing heavy makeup and jewellery. And when she looked closer at the black haired guy with the guitar and looked up at Jay, she dropped the CD case to the ground in total shock.

The man she had been making love to all night was the same guy holding the guitar on her CD case. The guitarist she had had a major crush on when she was a teen; GM Jay!

“I thought you’
d recognized me the other night but when you didn’t say anything, I assumed you were being polite!” Jay said as his arm went around her.

“You bastard.” She stood up and went into the bedroom. Jay called after her but she slammed the door behind her. Sam wasn’
t sure if she was more upset that she didn’t recognize him or the fact that he led her to believe that he was cheating.
Did he think of her now as a groupie? Did it even matter anymore?
She wasn

t sure.

There was a slight knock on the door and Jay opened it and came in. He looked so damn hot standing there in his boxers.

“Babe,” he said softly in his sexy American accent. “Don’
t do this. We had a very special night last night. I thought you knew who I was.” In a few strides, Jay was beside her on the bed. He reached for her hand and she allowed him to take it.

“Baby, I have only a few days here.” He kissed her hand. “I want to spend these with you. The tour is short, only nine weeks, then I can come back here or you can come to the US to me.” He pulled her close. She was quivering at his touch. Remembering how he made her feel last night, her longing for him returned.

“Jay, I’
m not a groupie. I can

t be one for you, to be there whenever you go on tour.” She was fighting back the tears. One was threatening to roll down her cheek. He kissed her eyelids, then her nose. Sam was weakening under his kisses. He tilted her chin and covered her mouth with his and the same hunger that overtook them the previous night returned with more urgency than before.

Jay kissed her lightly on the cheek, Sam stirred and he whispered:

“Be back in a while, babe.” He picked up his jacket and let himself out of the apartment. He passed a girl on the stairs and smiled and winked at her. She smiled back.

Lisa rang the doorbell and it took several minutes for Sam to wake up. She grabbed her robe and looked around; Jay was nowhere to be seen. She sighed as the doorbell rang again. Perhaps that was him.

Two minutes later Sam opened the door and was face to face with Lisa. She was grinning like a Cheshire cat.

Sam raised an eyebrow and Lisa just laughed.

“You never said there was a hot guy living in the building,” she said accusingly. Sam laughed.

“There isn’t
that I

m aware of.” She put on the coffee pot.

“Well maybe he’
s just moved in, because I saw this super hot looking guy with a sexy smile.” Sam laughed out loud as Lisa made like she was getting weak at the knees.

Sam sat at the window and saw where she had dropped the CD cover; she blushed slightly as she remembered how she had made love to Jay earlier and fell asleep in his arms afterwards.

She wondered if Lisa noticed her blush.

“So how was your hot date?” Lisa was asking. Again Sam blushed. She couldn’t
tell her friend what happened could she?

“It was good. He was a gentleman.” She took a sip from her mug but as Lisa was about to press her for more info about her date, the doorbell rang. Sam was at the door in an instant.

She opened it and saw Dan standing there.

“Hello Samantha.” She was staring at him completely unaware that she was only wearing a robe.

“Dan…what do you want?” she managed to say. He tried to walk past her but she barred his way with her arm.

“To talk…can I come in?” He was trying to look inside. Sam didn’t
want him there. What if Jay came back? He may not understand even though she told him about her very recent separation. And she certainly didn’t want to explain to Dan about who Jay was. Even though they were separated, Dan felt as though she was still his wife. As the weeks went on and the way that he had treated her during their marriage started to dawn on her, the realization that she had had a lucky escape was what helped Sam to cope during this very difficult period; and now almost overnight, everything had changed.

“This is not a good time and besides, I’
d prefer if we spoke through our lawyers.” Six months ago she

d have gladly let him in but only six hours ago she had had mind blowing sex and she didn’t know that that was possible.

She closed the door in his face. With her back to it, she looked over at where Lisa sat with her mouth open and incredulity written all over her face.

Sam laughed. But inside she was feeling butterflies as she recalled how Jay had touched her very essence of womanhood.

“He must have been something else in bed!” Lisa said as Sam came back to the window. She smiled but said nothing. “Don’
t be coy with me missy. You were always crazy about Dan. In fact until last week you believed you

d get back together and now this morning you close the door on his face.

“I want all the details of this hot date.”

After her shower Sam dressed casually and tied up her long auburn hair loosely in a knot at the nape of her neck. She applied some eyeliner and lipstick. She had no idea where Jay had got to; he didn’t call or leave a note.

Lisa was preparing a salmon salad when Sam came into the kitchen. She poured two glasses of wine and was playing the Glam Metal CD. Hearing this, Sam laughed. Lisa looked at her in a funny way.

Sam picked up the glass and whispered: Cheers! It was two in the afternoon and she never drank this early when she was with Dan. In fact, she never did anything with him, except what he wanted or allowed her to do. Thinking of him, she wondered what he wanted. Perhaps he had split with his new girlfriend. Or perhaps he needed to borrow money from her. Both seemed pretty realistic as the only reasons he would want to call to see her on a Sunday afternoon.

Lunch was like old times with Sam and Lisa. They laughed and joked.

Lisa picked up the CD and opened it. Teasing she said to Sam:

“Still want to be his sex slave?” Sam nearly choked on her wine; her friend would die if she knew that that was exactly what Sam was last night. She had been GM Jay’s lover. She didn’t
think it would be worth mentioning as she probably wouldn’t be seeing Jay after these next few days.

The sound of the doorbell made her jump and they both laughed.

Sam prayed it wouldn’t be Dan again.

She opened it and there was Jay holding a single red rose, he moved very close and kissed her nose.
