“You can,” Meg finished, her voice loud and strong, and she saw Jack shift slightly and glance in the rearview. She didn’t care, though, what he saw, what he heard.

“Yes, I can.” Nathan pulled back and smiled at her—the sweetness of the expression at odds with the hard, grasping fingers at her neck, with the teasing ones between her legs. “Are you back with me, love? Do you remember, now?”

“I’m with you. I remember.” She met his intense blue gaze. “You’re... good at this. Though I don’t know why I’m surprised. You’ve had to do it an embarrassing amount of times.”

“What exactly am I being complimented for?”

“Dealing with me and talking me down from my amazing freak outs, of course.” She cursed inwardly when her voice wavered.

The pressure on her neck increased, and she made a soft noise of protest when he drew his hand from beneath her skirt. Then, he pulled her tight to his side and wrapped his arm around her as he slid his hand up and palmed the back of her head. She sighed happily as he massaged her scalp.

“Dealing with you and talking you down?” He chuckled. “It’s so much more than that.”

She pressed her face into his neck and just inhaled him before asking, “What is it, then?”

He hummed, the vibrations tickling her lips where they rested against his pulse. “I’m taking care of you—in every way, freak outs and all—because I take care of what belongs to me.”

Meg shivered as his slow, carefully enunciated words rained over her. “And
I
belong to you.”

As the car pulled to a stop and Jack climbed out, Meg drew away, straightened her skirt and angled her body toward the door. She gasped when Nathan tugged her back against him.

“You
are
remembering,” he whispered next to her ear. “Good girl.”

Cheeks blazing—more from Nathan’s praise than embarrassment from Jack’s smirk and wink as he held the door for her—Meg stepped out of the vehicle. Nathan was right behind, snaking an arm around her waist, cupping her hip in his hand. He pressed a kiss to her temple then, with a nod to his friend, led her inside. Meg glanced around, took in the spacious restaurant, the servers in black and white, the tables and cozy booths with the long, white tablecloths. Most of the seats were full, she noticed as the hostess showed them to one of the more secluded booths toward the rear of the building.

When Nathan motioned for her to slide onto the padded bench, she leaned close and whispered, “I need to visit the restroom, first.”

“All the way back and to the left,” he murmured, squeezing her hip gently.

“Be right back.”

She hurried into the ladies and went right to the sink, flipping on the taps and splashing cold water on her face.

“Calm down, Meg,” she muttered, hands braced on the edge of the counter, head hanging over the sink as she dragged in breath after breath.

She shifted and pressed her thighs together and whimpered. If she thought she could get away with it, she’d lock herself in one of the stalls and take care of the aching need pulsing between her legs. It wouldn’t take long, no longer than a regular bathroom break, to be honest, because it’d take no more than a few well-placed touches to push her over. Nathan would know, though.
Somehow
, he would know, and he wouldn’t be pleased. And, really, how crazy was it that pleasing him had become everything, even after so short a time?

Meg pulled a paper towel from the holder and blotted her face. Looking in the mirror, she made sure her make-up wasn’t running. Once she was certain her legs would be steady, she left the small room and returned to the booth. When Nathan saw her, he rose and gave her that smile—that shrewd smile that took her breath away and kick-started her heart.

She brushed past him, and he trailed his fingers along the back of her neck as she slid into onto the seat. He sat beside her, close, thigh tight against hers, and picked up his menu.

“What are you hungry for?” he asked, casually catching her skirt and tugging on it.

Her eyes slid closed as inch by inch her legs were exposed and her skirt was bunched in her lap. She placed her hand over his.

“Nathan.”

“The duck looks good. Or would you rather something lighter?” Her hand didn’t impede his movement, and his fingertips soon traced along the top of her thighs. He brought his mouth to her ear and whispered, “You need to look at the menu to choose, love.”

Opening her eyes, she glanced at the menu then laughed softly as his hand pushed between her legs, nudging them apart.

“How am I supposed to concentrate on ordering when you’re doing that?” she asked, ending on a low moan.

“Try
really
hard.”

He withdrew his hand, angled himself towards her, and draped his arm around her shoulders. Then, slipped his other hand beneath her skirt. When he brushed the back of his fingers over her mound, Meg looked around the restaurant then down at her lap. The way the booth was situated shielded them from most of the room, and the long tablecloth hid from sight what Nathan was up to.

“The duck,” she gasped as he teased his fingers down her cleft. “I’ll have the damned duck.”

Nathan chuckled then, without warning, shoved two fingers inside her slick channel. The table shook as Meg grabbed the edge and bit her lip hard to keep from crying out.

“I love how you respond to me,” he said quietly, stroking in and out. “I could get lost in your sweet cunt. Dripping for me, squeezing my fingers, trying to keep them inside.”

“Please...”

Damn him. Too often, he had her pleading without knowing what she was asking for. His fingers in her pussy felt so amazing and pushed her tantalizingly close to what promised to be an overwhelming release. But, even as her body tensed in anticipation, she was aware of their surroundings, of the people around them, and couldn’t help but fight against what was happening.

“May I take your order?”

Meg startled as the server stepped up to the table, the motion causing her to jerk against Nathan’s hand. To her surprise, Nathan kept his fingers buried deep inside her as he turned to the other man.

“We’ll both have the duck,” he said smoothly even as he moved in her pussy, curving his fingers, pressing, massaging against the sensitive walls.

The server’s gaze flicked down then lifted quickly. His cheeks flushed as he stammered, “Of...of course. Can I get you...anything else? Something to drink, perhaps? Besides water, I mean.” He gestured weakly toward the two glasses already resting on the table.

“No. That will be all.” Nathan gave a particularly hard rub against her g-spot, and Meg couldn’t hold back the strangled cry.

“Brilliant,” the server said loudly and hurried away.

“Oh, God,” she muttered.

“Relax,” Nathan soothed. “He couldn’t see anything.”

“Maybe not but he sure as hell knew what you were doing, and—”

“And what?” He lifted a brow, withdrawing his fingers then pushing them back in until the heel of his hand slammed against her clit.

“And...and...” She felt the horrifying burn of tears as her stomach clenched deliciously.

“Does it matter?” He leaned in and brushed his lips along her jaw. “Does it matter if he knows you’re mine? If they all know?”

She shook her head, unable to form words as he continued to tease and coax her release from her.

“Good girl.” He shifted his arm behind her and his hand settled heavily on the back of her neck as he continued to fingerfuck her relentlessly. “Maybe when we’re finished, I’ll fuck you in bathroom.”

She whimpered and canted her hips forward.

“Hmmm, you’d like that, wouldn’t you? Or maybe we’ll leave... Though that leaves me with a difficult decision. Take you in the backseat of the car with Jack listening and probably getting off on it—he’s a dirty fucker and would love that—or bring you back to office and bend you over my desk. I’d be lying if I said I didn’t think about doing just that when I watched you touch yourself.” His grip tightened, and she pushed back into it. “I bet I could make you scream so loud the entire floor, maybe the entire fucking building, would know what I was doing to you. They would
all
know that you are mine. Mine to do whatever I want to.”

Meg stiffened and tried to shift back on the bench, her pussy tightening and rippling as hot pleasure coursed through her. Nathan froze then slowly pulled his hand away. Her heart hammered, and her hands shook as she clenched them her lap. Breathing heavily, Meg stared as he picked up his napkin and carefully wiped the glistening wetness from his fingers.

“Did you just come?”

Unable to suppress the shiver his dark, hard tone sent through her body, she dragged in a breath and kept her eyes downcast. “Maybe? But it wasn’t... It was just a little one...just a little one, I swear. It hardly counts.”

“Hardly counts?” He grasped her chin—fuck, she could smell her arousal so strongly on his fingers—and turned her to meet his gaze. “Was it an orgasm?”

“Y-y-yes.”

“And who do your orgasms belong to, Meg?”

“You,” she whispered. “They belong to you.”

“Did I say at any time I don’t want the ‘little ones’? That only the really big ones count and belong to me?” His thumb glided over her trembling lower lip then pressed lightly on the corner of her mouth.

“No.”

“I’m a selfish bastard, love. I want them all. They are
all
mine.” He released her and sat back.

“I’m sorry,” she said quickly, anxious to smooth this over. The thought of him angry with her cut deeply.

“Oh, I know,” he said with a smile. “Now, for the first part of your punishment—”

First
part?” she squeaked.

“Meg,” he admonished.

Her stomach flipped. “Sorry.”

He held her gaze a long moment then continued, “Every place you visit today, before you leave, you’ll go into the restroom and touch yourself.”

A laugh bubbled up, and she squirmed at the thought of bringing herself off several times throughout the day. That hardly sounded like a punishment.

“But you will not come.”

Oh. Well, shit.

“I want you to bring yourself to the edge each time, but do
not
come. And Meg,” he lowered his voice, “if you disobey, the second part of your punishment will be so much worse. Do you understand?”

She nodded. “Yes, Sir.”

He bent his head and took her mouth in a slow, almost sweet, kiss.

“What
is
the second part...if I do as you say for the first?” she asked when he broke away.

“Oh, love, you’ve no idea what’s in store for you, and I’m hardly going to ruin the surprise. One thing you can be sure of, though?” Nathan’s mouth curved wickedly. “I’m going to enjoy every minute. Immensely.”

Chapter Eleven

“H
ave a lovely evening, Meg. I’m sure Nathan is anxiously awaiting your arrival.”

Meg gave Jack her exasperated mom look as she got out of the car, but Jack was apparently immune to it. Ever since Nathan had deposited her in the town car after lunch—alone since he had some things “to see to”—saying his friend would be at her disposal for the day, Jack had been dishing out the teasing and innuendo full on. Mostly, Meg had laughed in response. Jack’s warm and accepting manner had made it easy for her to care less about what he knew about her and Nathan’s relationship—and she figured he knew Nathan well enough to guess, at the very least—and just enjoy the man’s company as she played tourist. He’d done more than just drive her about. He’d parked the car and joined her as she saw the sights, often adding his own colorful commentary, but by stop number five, she was strung so tightly, nothing was prying a laugh from her. And if Jack didn’t have a clue what Nathan had told her to do, he’d definitely thought she had bladder issues.

She’d wanted to just give up and head home, but then, Nathan had texted her with instructions to return at seven. Granted, she probably could have come back to the apartment she was renting and gone down to Nathan’s when it was time. But, she wanted to please him, and to do that, she’d follow his instructions to the letter.

Jack closed the car door and leaned down, kissing one of Meg’s cheeks then the other. “Hope to see you soon, Meg.”

“Good night, Jack.” She patted his arm. “And thank you for playing tour guide for me today. Granted, I know you were just doing your job, but—”

“Ah, my job was to drive you to point A to point B. Everything else, purely to enjoy your company and get to know the beautiful woman who has charmed my good friend.”

“Oh, now who’s being the charmer?” The smile she flashed him was forced—more because of the throbbing mess between her legs than not liking the man in front of her, because she did. Very much so.

“I have my moments.” He grinned down at her before looking at his watch. “Two minutes to seven. Better hurry. My mate Nathan wouldn’t take too kindly to your being late a second time today.”

“Jack, I...” She shook her head.

“Ah, don’t be blushing for me,” he teased, backing up then rounding the front of the car. “Good night, Meg.”

She gave a strangled laugh as he ducked into the vehicle. When he pulled away, she turned and headed inside. She made it halfway up the stairs to and had to stop. Bracing her hand on the wall, she drew in a deep, shaky breath. Every step pushed and rubbed and rekindled the ache inside her. Gritting her teeth, she hurried up the remaining stairs and bit back the resulting whimper before pushing into Nathan’s apartment.

“I’m not late,” she called loudly, closing the door behind her.

Nathan strode out of the bedroom, hands shoved in his pants pockets. Like the night before, his feet were bare, and his jacket was gone. His collar was unbuttoned, and, this time, his tie was missing, as well. Altogether too damned hot for his own good, that’s what he was.

“Not late,” she said again, shrugging out of her jacket. After hanging it and her purse on the hooks beside the door, she turned back and startled when she came face to face with Nathan. “Well, hello there.”

“Hello, love.”

His hands settled on her hips, and just that simple touch, his heat bleeding through her skirt, pulled a deep moan from her. The corner of his mouth twitched before he dropped a kiss on hers. She opened for him, wrapping her arms around his neck, moving closer. But, before she could press against him, he ducked out of her embrace and walked into the small kitchen.
