Lagniappe—A Little Something Extra
M
Y “LAGNIAPPE” TO YOU
, dear readers, is an invitation to send in your questions, comments, and letters for possible inclusion in a follow-up book. We still have a long way to go, and I hope I have “miles to go before I sleep.” I would like to continue documenting our progress in this struggle for fairness and equal rights for our gay family members.
Finally, as I say at the end of my Human Rights Campaign speeches: I love you all. Celebrate yourselves. Feel good about yourselves.
