Sadie whined, “Oh man. Now where are we going to find a big penis to fulfill our quest?”

A huge grin crossed the tall cowboy’s face. “A big penis, huh? Well if that’s all you’re lookin’ for darlin’, I bet my cousin Cord here’ll help you out. Course, he ain’t nearly as big a boy as I am, but nothin’ compares to my ‘cowboy’.”

The other cowboy was also hot as hell. A little smaller than this one, and his hair was a little darker, but damn something must’ve been in the genes here, because they were fine ass male specimens.

“Aw, that’s sweet, cuz. You think your penis is bigger than mine. I guess it’s nice to have big dreams.”

“It’s even better to have a big penis, cuz.” Cade said with a big ass smile on his face.

Cord stood up and extended his hand to me. “Sorry about my cousin. He can be a real jackass, but he’s family. So I guess he’s my jackass,” Cord whispered with a sexy grin crossing his handsome face.

Timidly, I placed my hand in his and tried to give him a strong handshake.

“Cord Walker and you are…?”

“Uh, Ember. Ember Kennedy,” I stuttered.

“Nice to meet you, Ember. So, you wanna tell me a little more about this quest of yours?”

“Not really?” I bit my lip and noticed that Cade had taken Sadie over to meet the redhead who claimed his penis – girlfriend, wife, whatever. I wasn’t real sure about their relationship, except for the whole penis claiming part.

“Oh, come on. You can tell me,” he said with a wink of his eye. “Here let’s have a seat and order some drinks. Everything will become much clearer over a Long Island Iced Tea, don’t you agree?”

“As a matter of fact, that sounds amazing,” I responded just as Cord placed his hands on my waist and lifted me onto the barstool in front of me. “What the hell?”

Laughing he sat down on the stool next to mine. “What? You didn’t expect a big ole cowboy like me to pick you up and sit your pretty little behind right where I wanted it to be?”

“I can honestly say I didn’t expect that.”

“Well, we’re gonna have to work on your knowledge of cowboys.”

Mason Corbett

Today was just one of those fucking days. It felt like everything I’d been working on for all of these years was about to fall apart at the damn seams. My dad didn’t give a shit about me or my feelings. He had my future planned and that was that. He was in control and I was just a pawn in his big fucking game.

I had to get the fuck away from everything. I needed some time to be Mase and not the asshole that my dad was turning me into. I couldn’t believe the way I had acted today. The things I had done all for him. Exactly what my dad wanted. I was becoming the one thing I always swore I would never be – Mason Corbett Jr.

Bullshit.

I picked up the phone and called the one guy that I knew would understand. Cord had known my dad for years. He’d spent several years working for him and knew exactly what he was trying to turn me into.

“Hey, Cord.”

“Well if it isn’t the amazin’ Mase Corbett. What the hell are you up to man?” Cord asked.

“You up for some company this weekend? I need to get the hell out of Dodge. This fucking life is about to get me down,” I groaned, gripping the steering wheel so tight the fucker would probably snap.

“Your dad fucking with you again?” he asked.

“Man, you have no fucking clue. I need a break from this shit.”

“Sure. Come on down to the dark side, or the country life. Some see it both ways,” he laughed.

“Actually, I’m already on my way. I should be there in a few hours. Thanks for letting me crash with you.”

“Anytime, Mase. I’ll see ya real soon.”

Hitting the end button on my phone, I tossed it onto the seat beside me. The soft leather shining in the sunlight. This car was my pride and joy. Since I was a little boy I dreamed of having a fast as hell car, and I made that dream come true a few years ago. I went out and bought the fastest car I could find. A 1968 black Camaro. The car fucking rocked and everyone knew it. The engine was huge and everything on it was custom and completely macked out.

That was the angriest I’d ever seen my dad. He was so pissed off the day I came home with this car. I was so goddamn excited, and feeling like I was on a permanent high, until I walked in and handed my dad the keys. I asked him if he wanted to take her for a ride. That’s when he quoted all of the things that I should’ve done with my money. He told me how stupid I was for finally fulfilling a dream, and picking the most childish one I could think of. He didn’t give a fuck that I’d worked my ass off to save the money for the fucking car. No, all he cared about was that I was happy and he needed to make sure to smash that happiness into the ground. My dad had a real knack for that.

That was enough of that. The more I thought about him the madder I got. This was going to be a weekend away from everything, especially my worthless fucking father.

A Night To Forget

Sitting in Cord’s house, I was doing my best to calm down, but nothing I’d tried had helped. When I walked in the door I’d headed straight for the liquor stash on top of the fridge, and downed a couple of shots of Jack. Then I went back to my room and tried to jack off, but that wasn’t happening. Nothing was calming my ass down.

“Are you gonna try to smile tonight, Mase? It’d probably help with the whole getting laid thing. Ladies don’t like it when you look like you want to rip their heads off.”

I knew Cord was right, but I just couldn’t calm down. I was pissed off and it showed. “I’m trying man. I really am.”

“What the hell did your dad do this time?” Cord asked, placing his hand on my shoulder. He patted me and I quickly pulled away. “I was just trying to help you calm down. I’m here for you, Mase. I know your dad can be a real asshole, especially to you. If you want to tell me about it, I’ll listen.”

“Goddamn, you sound like a girl, Cord. You gotta stop that shit. Ladies don’t like men who sound like ladies,” I laughed.

“What the fuck ever. I was just trying to help you out and keep you from burning a hole in my living room carpet.”

That’s when I noticed I was pacing back and forth in front of the couch. “Sorry, man.” I sat down on the couch. “Some nice warm pussy will make it all better. We gonna hit up the Rusty Beaver tonight?”

“You bet your ass we are. Cade and Suzanna are gonna meet us over there.”

“That’s right. I almost forgot they got married. How’s married life treating the one guy who I never dreamed would be dumb enough to fall for it?”

“Cade is not dumb, he’s fucking in love. Suzanna changed that man and he needed it. He was screwing everything in sight and not giving a damn about anything. Suzanna and Isabella made him a better man. We should all be lucky enough to get that someday.”

“Holy shit! You drank the fucking Kool-Aid.”

“Fuck off. Go take a shower, you stink and I ain’t taking you out in public smelling like something the cat dragged in.”

“Yes, dear,” I laughed as I jumped up off of the couch out of Cord’s reach and headed back to the guest bedroom.

When I got back there I looked all around the dark little room and thoughts of what had happened with my dad started creeping back into my head. He wasn’t gonna do this to me tonight. He wasn’t gonna fuck up my weekend the way he’d been fucking up everything else since I was a kid. I deserved to be a stupid guy for the weekend and that was exactly what I planned on doing.

I’d left home in such a fucking rush I didn’t even pack any clothes to go out to the bar. All I grabbed was some basketball shorts and wife beaters – not really cohesive to getting laid. Luckily, Cord and I were about the same size so I took a pair of his Wranglers out of the laundry room, threw on one of my wife beaters and took one of his button up western shirts out of his closet. The shirt was red and green plaid and made me look like Santa Claus – albeit a Santa who took very good care of his body and had been told a time or two that he was super hot, but Santa nonetheless.

My entire life I’d been known for my light blonde curls – just like my mom had had. My dad hated them, therefore when I was eighteen he took me to his barber and made me get a buzz cut. No shame here, I bawled like a fucking baby when that razor whizzed across my head. Those curls were like the last piece of Mase to go to the shredder. Dad had officially taken Mase and turned him into the man he wanted him to be, right down to my fucking haircut. I had to laugh, wouldn’t he die if he could see me tonight. Jeans, western shirt, brown worn cowboy boots, and a brown Stetson atop my head. He would have a shit hemorrhage. As I looked in the mirror I couldn’t stop cracking up.

Cord walked in. “What the hell are you laughing at? There ain’t a damn thing wrong with my clothes you ‘borrowed’ or just plain ass stole.”

“I’m not laughing at your clothes, man. I just can’t quit thinking how much dad would fucking hate everything about this,” I said, looking myself up and down in the mirror.

Pretty soon, Cord’s laughter joined mine. “You got that right, Mase. What you’re wearing right now would definitely not get your dad’s stamp of approval.”

“Fuck his stamp. I’m done with that shit.” Tipping my hat to Cord, I said in my best southern drawl, “Now let’s go find us some hot cowgirl lovin’, my friend.”

“Maybe lay off the drawl there, Mase. I think you’re forgetting where you came from.”

“No, Cord I ain’t forgettin’ yet, but by the end of the night I sure as hell better be.”

We’d only been at the Rusty Beaver for a few minutes when Cade and Suzanna walked in. It didn’t take me five minutes to see how much those two loved each other. It was fucking sick and beautiful at the same time.

“So how you been, Mase?” Cade asked as he wrapped his arm around his wife’s shoulder.

“Not as good as you, obviously,” I smiled and nodded at Suzanna. She blushed and Cade leaned in and kissed her neck.

“My heart picked her, Mase,” Cade said then he leaned in and whispered, “seems like tonight’d be a good night to let your dick do the pickin’.” Then he raised his eyebrow and looked all around the bar.

There was no shortage of hot women in this bar, however, there seemed to be an overabundance of “white trash.” Girls that were just looking for some guy to stick their claws into that could get them out of this town. Just as I was narrowing down my playing field, the door opened and a couple of real promising prospects walked in. There was a punk with them, but he looked more like their bodyguard than their date. He sucked as a bodyguard, because the minute they got through the door he was accosted by one of the ladies sitting at the bar and whisked away to the other side of the bar.

“I’m gonna go play us a song on the jukebox. Any requests, boys?” Suzanna asked, before she turned to walk over to where the jukebox sat alongside the far wall.

“Ya play whatever ya want, darlin’,” Cade smiled and patted her ass as she walked away.

Us guys sat down at the bar and ordered some shots of Jack with beer chasers. Willie, the bartender, gave us our drinks and as I took my shot I couldn’t pull my eyes from the promising prospect from earlier. Yeah, there had been two chicks that walked in, but one of them looked like a teen idol wanna be…with a short pink skirt and a pair of boots that I was pretty sure a hooker wouldn’t wear out in public, while the other one looked classy. Sure she was wearing some fuck me red animal print heels with fishnet hose, but she made it work. Her long red curls were flowing down her back and those legs looked like they went on forever. She was smoking hot and she was gonna be in my bed on her back, hell she could be in any position she wanted, but she would be spending the night with me.

Grabbing my longneck bottle, I took a long pull from it, and said, “I think I’ll go help Suzanna with the music.”

“Keep your damn hands off my wife, Mase. Don’t make me kick your ass,” Cade laughed.

“I promise. I’ll keep my hands off of your wife. I make no promises about my lips or tongue though.”

“You rat bastard,” Cade yelled, jumping up off of his barstool and jokingly lunging at me.

When I got over to the jukebox, Suzanna was busy flipping through all of the songs. I swear to God, she went through each one. While she was searching I was keeping an eye out on the redhead. She and her friend had made their way over to Cade and Cord, and they were engaged in a pretty serious conversation, or so it looked.

“So you got a thing for redheads or just likin’ that one in particular,” Suzanna asked, tearing me out of my trance.

“That obvious?”

“Uh yeah. You look like a lion about to attack his prey,” she said as she took her hand and wiped at my chin. “I think you’re droolin’ there, Mase. You gonna introduce yourself, or just drool over her all night?”

“I’m just waiting for the right time,” I moaned.

“When will that be? When she’s in bed with Cord? Because it looks like it might be heading that way.” She pointed at Cade who was walking toward us with the redhead’s friend. Which left my redhead sitting at the bar with…Cord? Shit.

Suzanna patted me on the back. “Go get her tiger, or should I say lion?” she smiled a breathtaking smile. No wonder Cade was fucking head over heels for her, she was gorgeous and pretty damn smart.
