It was long before our time when they came from space. The legends of the vampires have been around for generations, but the question was, were the legends true. If so when did the first vampire show up? This is the story of the vampires and in it you will learn of how they came to be on our planet earth through the descendants that live here now.

Prologue.

A long time ago just before man showed up on the planet earth, there was another planet, miles away, with life on it. This planet was called Vampiro, now on planet Vampiro there was a civilization of vampires. This civilization of vampires fed on blood, but their food consisted of, what we would consider, weird creatures. There was orange caveman looking creatures, who instead of walking on their feet, walked using their hands, like apes or gorillas do and they had no hair anywhere on their bodies, the vampires called them, Orgons. They had no emotions, they didn’t feel love, or hate, they were just shells full of blood. (Well you know the saying you are what you eat, in this case it was true) The vampires who ate these creatures had no feelings. They could get them back by eating other creatures though.

Other vampires on this planet would eat the animals of this land. They had an animal that looked like a mixture between a rat/cat/beaver mix, that they called, Cratver. Another animal, the planet had, resembled our bear, but it had horns and hooves instead of paws. Polbareck the fish, now that was a spectacular thing in itself. All the fish were sparkling wonders, all in different shades of color. You had reds, blues, oranges, and yellows. The fish swimming looked amazing in the water; it was so clear that even in the deepest area of the water, you could see straight down to the bottom.

The air was so clean and fresh that you could smell every scent that there was. The mountains were so large that they always seemed to have snow on their peeks and where there wasn’t any snow, it was green with trees that were on the side of the mountain.

Now the vampires, were a sight in themselves, because they looked just like us, except they never aged, like we do and they were all beautiful in their own unique way. Now vampires died, but their lifespan was 900 of our years, on average, the oldest vampire that they had on record was 1001 years old when he died. They had vampires who watched the sky for any change, vampires who watched the ground for any change, and vampires who built things, like houses or UFOs as we like to call them. Well it came to be that one day, as the vampires were watching the sky, they noticed an anomaly, they noticed that they needed to leave their planet A.S.A.P., for a black hole was starting to suck other planets into it. So they loaded up ships with vampires and food, then took off in search of a planet that they could survive on.

On the way to finding a planet they stopped at a sister planet to warn the Were people about what was going on, so that they could get out as well (but that is a different story for later). The vampires searched galaxy after galaxy, in search for the planet that could support them. They found planets with toxic gases, planets with no life, planets with insufficient life for their diet, and this happened over and over again until they found it, the one planet that had everything that they needed. It had food, oxygen, only problem was the sun, but even on this planet they could stay out of the hottest times of day and be fine, so they landed in a place we now call Alaska, and they started their lives from there, some moved to different areas of the world as time moved on; but the King stayed and raised his family in Alaska. Years later all the Kings of the past have gone, leaving Ace to be ruler of all the vampires. This is his story.

Chapter 1

Ace remembered hearing the stories of how his ancestors came to live on this planet. He grew up with the stories that were passed down from generation to generation, about how their home planet came to be destroyed by a black hole, and how they had to leave to find another planet. He wished he could have seen the old planet, but this was the only home he knew. He lived in a state called Alaska. In the summers it was sunny all the time and everything was so green, the mountains surrounded him so no matter where he went, in this state, he could see a beautiful mountain scene. The air here was so fresh that you could smell the moisture in the air.

In Alaska you had several different ways to get food, vegetables that the farms would grow hunting and fishing. When winter came, it was like another world all together; in the sky you could see the Aurora Borealis and stars so bright on clear nights, but on the clear nights it was also blistering cold. You could still fish but you would have to cut through the ice, and hunting meant that you needed to wear some very warm clothes, like layers upon layers of clothes, but it’s the opposite of summer. When it comes to the sun, it’s dark almost all the time, and very cold. In the summer it doesn’t get really hot, like other states, in Alaska it gets to be about room temperature, sometimes hotter but usually the temp doesn’t get over 90 degrees, in the winters you could face -60 degrees.

When they got here, his ancestors decided to pick a family to hold the documents of all the past vampires, the ones before they came to this planet and the ones that came after. They also decided that the family who held the documents would be the ruler of all vampires. Now, unfortunately, it was Ace's family who had been picked; so as Ace grew up he began wishing that it wasn’t his family that had been picked. This stemmed from the fact that even though he could choose whomever he wanted as his mate, he had to pick before he turned 450 years old. If he did not pick by the time he turned 450 years old the council members got to pick for him.

Now the council members are a group of people. One from each nest of vampires (there’s 1 nest on each continent except in America, where Ace is the council member, but due to a conflict of interest there was a secondary council member who was appointed, only as a judge, for just in case Ace doesn’t make his birthday deadline, just to keep everything fair).

With Ace being the King of all vampires, they had decided centuries earlier, that they would always pick a secondary council member, to make sure that the King had no say in which mate the council would pick. They would pick the very finest female who was taken from each nest, then they will meet with each girl, narrow it down to the very last female standing and one who they’d believe, would make a suitable match for their King. Then Ace, who is the king, will only get to meet her the day of their mating ritual, which happens to be the day after he turns 450 years old. Which meant that he only has 3 months to find his own mate, announce it, and proceed with the mating ritual.

He didn’t want to marry someone he didn’t get to meet. Ace wanted to marry someone he loved, but also someone who didn’t know him as the true leader of the vampires. There were plenty of females that would love to be his mate and have children with him, but he didn’t want any of them. It was while he was walking and thinking about all of the things going on with the mating ritual and him wanting to love his mate, that he heard a woman’s scream which interrupted his thoughts. Normally he would have ignored the screaming, but for some reason he decided to go see what was going on and what he saw pissed him off to no end. It was a rogue vampire attacking a human woman, which was against the vampire laws. They could not eat human women, children, or men for the simple matter; one bite turns them into one of them. OK
well maybe not quite like them but close enough.

One bite turns them into monsters. They would have no control and would never be full; luckily she hadn’t been bitten yet.

Ace had come just in time and he yanked the rogue vampire off the woman and killed him, which turned him instantly into dust. He looked at the woman, who had passed out, and telling by the cut on her head, it was due to a severe head injury. Ace picked her up and decided to take her to his home where his doctor resided. When he got home, he went over to the part of the house where the doctor lived and worked, he knocked on his door.

After they cleaned her cut that was on her head and gave her some of his blood so she would heal quickly, they laid her down in Ace’s home. The Doctor told Ace that he needed to decide what to do, whether to wipe her mind clean (which didn’t work on every human and he had a feeling that it wouldn’t work on this woman, considering she just fought like hell against another of his kind), or to keep her ‘til Ace felt it was either safe to let her go or if it would be better to keep her and change her. Ace didn’t know why, but he had a sudden urge that he wanted to keep her.
