Chapter 7

     Angyl decided after laying Nathan down for bed that night, she was going to try to seduce Ace. She took a shower, put on the slinkiest nightgown she had, and went out into the hall heading towards Ace’s room. She slipped into Aces room and waited for him to get back from eating. After 10 minutes went by she decided to leave when Ace entered his room. Angyl had decided that maybe this wasn't a good idea, she hadn't ever seduced a man before, and she didn't think she could do it. She had started to shake from nerves.

     “Angyl, what are you doing here?” Ace said breathless from the sight of her.

     “I um, was waiting for you, but it’s getting late, we can talk tomorrow. I’m sorry, I’m gonna go now.” Angyl said while blushing and looking down, but as she started to move away Ace caught her, and carried her to his bed. Then he sat down next to her.

     “Now wait just a minute Angyl, you’re in here dressed like that, just to talk. I’m pretty sure you’re full of shit. Now if you will please wait here while I take a quick shower, then I can be right back out, and we can talk, or whatever else you may want to do.”

     “Now Angyl, are you going to tell me why you’re really here?”

     “I came to seduce you.” Angyl blurted before she could stop herself. Ace started chuckling.

     “You know you just being you is torture enough, what your wearing is damn near killing me.” Ace said.

     Angyl finally got some of her courage back and slipped off Ace’s lap. She heard Ace groan a little as she did. She stood before Ace shaking because of nerves as she took her night gown off, watching as Aces eyes filled with desire even more, then she heard him whimpered.      Angyl woke up to a kid laughing and running around outside. She sat up and ran to the window quickly and saw her son outside.      “This is her.”

     “I was calling to inform you, that you can go through the book store now if you want.”

     “Thank you, I will do that.” Angyl said feeling new tears coming on.

     “Well you have a wonderful day.” Detective Johnson stated he didn't want to tell her that her ex-husband was now killing old neighbors and now prostitutes. He had finally got it cleared to release the book store to her and he spent all night cleaning up the blood for her. She had already been through enough, that she didn't need to go through more. He then snapped out of it and said, “I will call you if we need to ask you more questions.”

     “Alright. Thank you. Bye Detective.” Angyl said as she hung up the phone. She then decided that she wasn't going to be sad any more, she had loved Max like a father, but to know that she was the reason he was dead, hurt her more than anything else could have. If she hadn't ever gotten with David, people she cared about would still be alive, and that hurt her more just thinking about it. Which is why she has decided that today she was going to try and have a good day. She was going to ask Ace to take her to the book store and the attorney’s office so she could get everything figured out. So right now she was going to go in get dressed like she planned then go outside and join her son and Ace.

     “What are you 2 up to?” Angyl said playing like she was mad.

     “Sorry, I just thought you would need some more sleep, so I brought him out here to play since it was a nice day.” Ace said looking guilty.

     “Mommy’s working here today, so when she goes on breaks, she can come spend them with you.”

     “Really mommy?” Nathan said sounding excited.

     “Yay can we go to the zoo when you’re off of work?” Nathan asked.

     “Yes we can go to the zoo.”

     “Can Ace come mommy?”

     “I don’t know honey, Ace might be busy.” Angyl said “I don’t think we should......” Angyl started to say when Ace interrupted her.

     “First, I’m not busy and second I would love to go to the zoo with you both.” Ace said smiling at them both.

     “YAY!” Nathan yelled jumping up and down with excitement.
