Run to Him: The Full Novel: A Domination/Submission Alpha Male Billionaire Suspenseful Romance (The Billionaire's Beck and Call Book 4) (9 page)

“Yes, you like it here?”

“N- Yes, Mistress.”

“Nyes?” she said, her voice high and mocking. “Are you making up new words now?”

“No, Mistress.”

Rage was slowly replacing my fear, boiling to the surface, despite my best attempts to tamp it down.

Calm down, Lucy! Remember the whip…

The trays of appetizers shook in my trembling hands.

“Well, I think you’ll learn to love it, slave,” she said, moving closer, the alcohol on her breath making it hard not to flinch back.

Her hand moved lower still and brushed over my pussy, her long fingers tracing my lips, then working their way between my folds. I whimpered, her touch electric, despite how much I loathed her. Hell, how much I loathed everything, trapped here, like an animal.

“Now, now,” Mr. Alastair said, appearing at the woman’s shoulder. “This particular slave is mine, Natasha. You know better than that.”

The smug brunette gave me one last stroke, looking from me to Mr. Alastair, before shrugging and pulling back.

“What can I say, Lucas? You throw such intoxicating parties, full of such beauty… Sometimes, I forget myself.”

She gave me another wicked smirk before turning her backs to us and sashaying away, her beaded black dress rustling around her as she moved. Mr. Alastair turned to me, his blue gaze piercing me.

“Are you enjoying the party, Lucy?”

He moved closer, his hands moving to my hips. I tried to pull away, the trays shaking in my grip.

“Nervous, little slave? Do try to relax, won’t you?”

He leaned in, whispering in my ear.

“I’d hate to have to
punish
you.”

I froze, his words sending a bolt of terror up my spine. He was so much taller than I was, and strong as well. Here, with his guards, I was at his mercy.

His hands slid over my waist, making me cringe, then one began wandering lower, to the place between my legs the other woman had been so interested in. I bit my lip, willing myself not to cry, not to do something stupid, but a river of hate was raging inside of me, rising by the moment, threatening to spill over its banks.

He touched my pussy, his long fingers sliding between my folds, and I hissed out a breath.

“You’ll soon realize that you’re
mine
now, Lucy. Mine to do with as I please…”

He stroked me, and to my horror, I realized I was wet. He chuckled, low in his throat.

“See these other girls here, hmm? They are here because they want to be. They are members of Club Asmodai and get a thrill from serving the most elite among us. They are eager to please, Lucy. Just like you will be.”

“Fuck. You.”

I couldn’t help myself. The words slipped out of my mouth before I could stop them.

“Oh?” Mr. Alastair laughed. “Still have a little fight in you, I see. Don’t worry, my dear. I won’t
fuck
you until you beg me to. I can’t wait to see you on hands and knees, pleading with me to fill you up-“

“I will
never
beg you!”

He dipped a finger inside of me, and I screamed, wishing I had my hands free so I could claw his face, or shove my thumb right into his eye, the way they showed us in self defense class.

I settled for kneeing him as hard as I could, right between the legs.

His pained yelp was music to my ears. He dropped to the ground, clutching himself, his face twisted into a mask of disbelieving rage, his cheeks turning red, his debonair demeanor long gone. His hair was out of place, falling onto his forehead. I think that, more than anything, was what finally made me lose it.

I was still laughing, the trays clattering to the ground, when the guards dragged me away. I laughed and laughed when they dragged me through the halls, and tossed me through a doorway into a pitch black room, then locked the door behind me. And I kept laughing, even as the walls closed in, the sound of my voice echoing back at me, bouncing into my ears.

I laughed until I couldn’t laugh any more, and then I sat, panting in the dark, wondering what would become of me: the idiot slave who just sent herself up shit creek without a paddle.

Max

“Club Asmodai?”

“There was a party there last night that one of my old friends attended. You know him, Max. Damien Black used to frequent Club Persephone with us along with James and the others.”

Chase Drake sat across the booth from Jackson and I, leaning forward and keeping his voice low. We sat in the darkest corner of our favorite Italian bistro downtown, but still took pains not to be overheard.

“And Damien saw him there?”

“It was his party,” Chase said. “He orchestrated the whole thing for his inner circle there. They were allowed to invite potential ‘initiates’ as he calls them. Damien was one of the few chosen. He… says he saw a girl there matching Lucy’s description.”

“Was she okay?! What did he see, Chase?”

I gripped my friend’s arm, willing him to look me in the eye. His expression was grim, but he met my gaze, the look in his green eyes sending a chill down my spine.

“Tell me!”

“She was wearing an arm spreader collar, and, um… Well, she was a nude servant along with several others… He left before the party was over, but he said she seemed calm and quiet the whole time.”

I pounded my fist on the table, moving my water glass an inch with the force. A few people looked back at us, and I glared at them until they turned back around.

“Max, have you considered the possibility… that she
wants
to be there? With him?”

“No,” I said, shaking my head. “No way. She needs our help, for fuck’s sake!”

“Even after… what happened between you two?”

Jackson was watching me closely, assessing my expression.

“Look,” I said, looking from one of them to the other. “I screwed up then, and I didn’t trust her. I know now that she never meant to betray me, and I will regret the way I behaved toward her for the rest of my life. I
know
her, Chase. She loves me. I trust her with that. Hell, I trust her with my life.”

Chase put a finger to his lips watching me as well, then sat back and sighed.

“Alright, then. What next?”

“The guy I sent to his office this morning overheard the other two lawyers discussing this Club Asmodai as well. That seems to be Lucas’ main haunt, outside of his work,” Jackson said. “It seems that Alastair bought the place and was the one responsible for the name change.”

“I’ve heard of it,” I said. “Club Persephone was dead last time I went, and a couple of the members told me it was because of some new place in the industrial district. It has to be this Club Asmodai.”

“We need to get someone inside,” Chase said, and I nodded immediately.

“I’ll go.”

“No way,” Jackson said. “You’ll be recognized. He knows you from the masquerade, remember?”

I glared at my brother, and he instantly put his hands up in apology.

“How could I fucking forget,” I growled.

“We’ll call Damien and James. Damien has an in, after all,” Chase said. “What do you say, Max? Let’s get the old crew back together. Besides, doesn’t Damien still owe you one for souping up his old mustang?”

I grinned at that. Damien and James had been part of Chase and my old group of friends, almost as close as brothers. Our families knew one another from way back, but it was our shared interest in… well, the kinkier side of life… that really brought us together. As soon as Chase shared his first experience Dominating a woman, we were hooked, learning as much as we could from and with one another.

Time and distance had separated us, but now, I needed the help of people I trusted, more than ever. Especially a couple of well-connected men like Damien and James, who could look after themselves in a fight.

“Yes, he does,” I said. “Do it, Chase.”

He stood up, reaching for his cell phone, but I grabbed his arm.

“Chase? Thank you, brother.”

He clapped me on the shoulder, smiling warmly.

“I’ve got your back, Max. Always.”

In that moment, I was lost for words, but looking at my oldest friend, and feeling Jackson’s hand on my shoulder, I knew we all understood. This was a make-or-break moment, and I knew then, that they would never let me down.

We’re coming, Lucy
, I thought, my heart aching in my chest.
Hang in there, my beautiful girl, just a little while longer.

Your Max is coming to save you!

Lucy

I spit at him, my back arching off the St. Andrews’ cross he’d tied me to, my arms and legs strapped down in the shape of an X. I didn’t cry out when the back of his hand met my face with a loud
crack
, although the force of it made me see black for a moment, pain exploding through my head like a symphony.

“You
see
what you make me do?”

His tone was calm, but Mr. Alastair’s eyes gave him away, blazing in the firelight. I was in his room now, his lair, as I thought of it, bound fast by his goons, thinking of all the ways I’d love to hurt this sonofabitch, should I make it out of this place alive.

I felt a warm trickle on my lip, and tasted blood. I grinned a red grin at him, not wanting him to see how much he hurt me, how much he terrified me, fighting just to feel like
me
, while I was trapped here, at his mercy.

“What I
make
you do?” I said. “You are one sick fuck, Lucas. And when the cops find me, you’ll be going away for a long, long time.”

“Oh, Lucy,” he said, chuckling. “You really don’t understand, do you?”

He stroked my face, and I tried to bite him, missing by a millimeter.

“What’s there to understand? You’re a kidnapping psycho, and kidnapping psychos get their asses locked up!”

“But we have a contract, my dear. You signed yourself over to me, remember? Or did you forget that if you broke one of the clauses in our agreement, that all other stipulations become void… but our agreement that you are mine continues.”

Suddenly, some of the wording at the end of that unreadable contract floated into my mind, that evil paragraph swimming into view.

Upon such default, and at any time thereafter, the Secured Party may declare certain portions of this Agreement null and void, but the Agreement not terminated…

“You can’t do that! Besides, when the
fuck
did I default on your little contract? I’ve barely worked for you a week!”

“Well, you were late on the first day, which violates the agreement in Section 8 about punctuality-“

“By three minutes!”

“And you neglected to choose and inform me of your Safe Word before your first punishment was administered, as agreed upon, not to mention you neglecting to complete your work entirely yesterday when I was forced to take you in hand. Really, Lucy, under the circumstances, I think I’ve been incredibly lenient…”

What
?”

He couldn’t possibly be serious. A shiver went through me as I watched him, watched the smile growing on his handsome, smug face.

He really believes he owns me…

“You can’t just hold someone against their will no matter what your goddamn paperwork says!”

“Can’t I?”

He cocked his head, touching my stomach with his long, lithe fingers, making me shudder.

“As far as anyone will know, we have a 24/7 Master-Slave agreement, like so many other kinky couples. I’ll tell anyone who asks that the default clause is part of what gets you off—you love being punished, after all—and you signed willingly, with my driver there as a witness. No one is going to push for an investigation, especially when people
know
we’ve slept together, Lucy… They’ll just assume you joined this place of your own free will, and leave it alone. Especially with my partners assuring anyone who asks that these types of contracts are perfectly regular among people of our particular… tastes.”

His fingers moved higher, brushing the underside of my breasts. He traced my curves, enjoying my obvious discomfort. A hot tear rolled down my cheek before I could stop it.

He was right. The police would never even look for me. They’d just assume this was some kinky sex thing and move on. Even with Max frantically trying to help, they’d just think he was my jealous ex… and who would convince them otherwise?

Hell, they could just look at my bank statements to see my first month’s salary already deposited.

Oh, God, please help me… Please, won’t someone fucking help me!
