WILDES1.
I look up at him, he raises his eyebrows, almost daring me to complain or comment.

“Wildes
1. Really?”

“Well
aren’t you?”

“Well
yeah, I suppose so but did you really feel the need to state it on my car”

“Yes
actually I did” he pulls me to him,

“I
want everyone to know your mine; I can’t marry you for at least a year, until you can get divorced, so at least this way everyone will know, you’re mine and we’re together, I can change it if you don’t like it”

“No
, no, no, I love it, but back up a bit, what do you mean you can’t marry me yet?”

“Like
I said, we can’t get married until you get divorced so until then” He shrugs

“But
who said anything about marriage? Nobody has even mentioned marriage before”

“Do
you not want to marry me then Lauren?” He’s deadly serious, he doesn’t take his eyes from mine, I try not to show any emotion because he will see it instantly in my face and I really don’t know what my answer is.

“I,
I don’t know Gabe. It’s not something that’s”…. before I can finish, he drops down onto one knee, in the middle of the drive.

“Lauren
Marie Day, you have come into my life like a whirlwind, you have flipped my world, my thoughts and my heart upside down, you have woken something in me that I thought was long dead, you have brought me back to life, I love you more with every beat of my heart and I cannot and do not ever want to imagine my life without you in it, I want to be with you forever, please would you do me the honour of becoming my wife?”
