Place all the ingredients in a gallon jar and fill with filtered water. Let it sit in the sun for 8 hours or more until it becomes a rich, golden color.
Contributor’s note:
This is a great drink on a hot summer day. Sun tea is a good substitute for black teas, green teas, and coffee.

3 pink grapefruits
2 soft ripe pears
2 limes
2 cups watermelon
Remove the citrus peels from the fruit and juice all the ingredients. Combine everything in a blender and blend until smooth. Strain this drink for a smoother texture if you like.

½ cup sesame seeds, soaked
2 cups pure water
10 dates (fresh, or soaked if dry)
4 bananas, peeled
2 teaspoons vanilla powder or alcohol-free extract
Make sesame milk by blending the sesame seeds with the water. Add more or less water to achieve desired consistency. Strain through a nut milk bag, cheese cloth or fine strainer.
Add the dates, bananas, and vanilla to the strained milk and blend well in a Vita-Mix or blender until smooth and creamy.
Hint:
Add crushed ice for a much cooler drink.

4 oranges
1 cup berries (such as red currants, strawberries, or black currants)
Juice all of the ingredients and mix well. Serve immediately.

½ cup raisins, soaked
½ cup dates, soaked (reserve water)
½ cup almonds, soaked
½ cup coconut meat
2 teaspoons cinnamon
1 teaspoon ginger juice
dash ground cloves
dash of nutmeg
2 cups coconut water or date soak water
Place all the ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth.
