The Darkest Corners (The Club Book 4) (11 page)

“So, if I took you over to that couch right now and fucked you, and fucked you hard, you wouldn’t object?”

“Not in the least.”

Tally found herself tossed over his shoulder and squealed in shock, followed by a giddy laugh as he dropped her on the couch carefully. His lips didn’t crash onto hers so much as march relentlessly and conquer her with purpose. And what wonderful purpose it was as his hands freed her from the nightshirt she was still wearing.

Up, over her head, and before the shirt was even tossed away, Liam’s hand was on her breast, teasing the nipple—pinching, twisting, massaging, playing with the little hoops. Once the shirt was gone, his mouth replaced his hand, and her bottoms were gone. His mouth feasted on her, teasing the piercing with his tongue.

His hand found the bundle of waking nerves between her legs, petting and stroking like it was a long lost friend. Which she guessed it was, as she desperately clawed at his pants to pull his hard length from its confines and become reacquainted.

Tally pulled his shirt off, interrupting his feast at her tits for just a moment, then wrapped her hand around his waiting, willing cock and stroked him. “You know how to turn a girl on.”

“There’s no girl here, just a woman I want to bury my dick in and shower with roses every day until I win her heart.”

“I’ll be happy with both.”

“Protection?”

“You’re clean?” Liam nodded. “Screw it. I’m protected.”

Liam climbed on the couch and settled himself at her center. “And do I have a chance at winning you over?”

“It would be better if you fucked me already.”

“Yes, mistress.” The dirty little smile on his face as he slammed home inside her held no instance of mocking. It was just full of filthy promise, and his motion elicited a moan of delight from her. He moved in her, dragging himself again her clit.

Tally wrapped her hand around the back of Liam’s head and pulled him close. “You promised me hard, and I want fast.”

“Shit,” he breathed and slammed all the way home on the next thrust. He wrapped his arms around her and moved them so she was sitting up, and he was kneeling, hard erection still firm lodged in her willing sex. He palmed her ass and pulled her to the edge, then settled his big, warm hands on her waist. “Fast and hard.”

“Fuck me,” she breathed and meant it. He complied, driving himself in deep and making her whole body tremble as he raked over her. Liam leaned down and grabbed one of the piercings in his teeth and pulled it. His tongue grabbed it, and he sucked her whole nipple into his mouth, where he bit, not gently, on her.

As he moved his attention to her other breast, he dusted words across her skin. “Touch yourself, belle. Run your fingers over your clit. I need my hands to drive myself in you.”

She was eager to comply. Her fingers dropped to her bundle, and she paid a light attention to herself. Tally didn’t need much—between the rough possession of his cock and his tongue and teeth over her breasts, this was as fast and hard as she imagined it would be.

Liam paused for just a moment to throw her legs over his shoulders, and quickly returned to his punishing rhythm. Tally couldn’t believe it: her legs were trembling, nearly out of control. She was consumed by his deliciously sexual possession—and managing to keep just a touch of her wits about her, she looked up into his face. He was staring back at her, his face possessed with the need to come.

“Do it.” She gasped. “Do it, come in me.”

His hard thrusts became punishing, slamming home, quaking her whole body. She gave up resisting the sweet pain he was visiting on her, and arched into him, coming like she hadn’t come in years. All of her desire, frustration, lust and want unleashed with her climax, and she found herself screaming his name as he bathed her walls with his release.

Liam collapsed on top of her, her legs still trembling, hooked over his shoulders. She ran her fingers through his thick mane of hair. He peered up at her, seeking her approval.

She caught his lips in a consuming kiss. “Good boy.”

Two years from tomorrow

Dunlevy walked to the door to flip the lock and as Tally watched his retreating back, she leaned into Liam’s ear, whispering, “Scene is over.”

His eyes snapped to hers and sparked with lust. He pressed her against the wall and delved into her mouth with unbridled want and passion. Tally had trouble catching her breath until he stopped his sensual assault on her. “That was fucking amazing.”

“So you liked this one?”

“No one knew, and that was unbelievably hot.” Liam smiled at her.

Dunlevy cleared his throat. “I’d tell you to get a room, but you already have one. You just need to get there.”

“We have dinner reservations.” Liam smiled. “We’ll get there eventually.”

“I don’t imagine that you’d wait anyway.”

“Screw off, Dun.” Tally laughed and flipped him the finger.

“You don’t want to tell me that, not when I’m about to go get the final numbers for the weekend.” Dunlevy winked and headed to the back of the gallery.

Tally loved the feeling of Liam’s arm around her waist. She leaned into his ear again. “You can take out the plug if you like.”

“I’d rather you do it, later.” Liam smirked.

“I love your mind.”

“I love all of you, belle.”

Dun’s heavy footfalls headed back toward them, and he appeared around the corner. “You two make such an adorably kinky couple. I have to commend you, Tally. Liam’s collar is ingenious.”

Tally smiled, adjusting it a little on his neck. Once he’d said he would be collared, she knew he needed a special collar. He wasn’t the type to wear a leather choker and spikes, nor would really be interested in something silver or gold. The result was perfect. A black rope, with silver loops attached to either end. And when she locked it around his neck in the ceremony a week before, she’d had a small black metal lock made for him. He still played with it, but for every time he touched it, she just added another paddle to his count.

So far today? Just four. He was getting better, and he’d be disappointed in that number.

Shit, she loved this man.

“Numbers?” Dun asked.

“Yes, please,” Liam said.

“So, Friday, Saturday and Sunday nights.” He looked at the sheets. “Of the seventy-five pictures we had hung, all but four sold. Of the back catalogue of one hundred, we have sold sixty. The remaining forty will be hung for the rest of the show this week. And of the twenty-four Black Canvas collection, we have only five left.”

Liam traded an astonished looked with Tally. “Who bought those? Aren’t those in the locked gallery?”

“Of course they were. But I had a gentleman by the name of Raul Digrasso come in, and the gentleman doesn’t stop in casually.” Dun’s smile was devious. “Digrasso runs a very exclusive, very serious dungeon. He is class personified, and he loved the paintings. He wants them for his house and club.”

“Negotiated?” Tally asked.

“Tag.” Dun’s grin got bigger. “No questions asked. He said he’d take the other five if no one wanted to buy by the end of the week, but he wanted to give a friend or two a chance to see them. He wanted to know if you do commission pieces.”

“Crap.” Tally quietly did the math in her head. “He really spent all that.”

“All that.” Dun nodded. “Tally, this is the most successful show I’ve ever had here, and I want to personally extend an invitation to send me anything you want to sell. I will put it in the permanent guest gallery. Because first you are amazing and two, damn. I’ve never nearly sold out the walls in three days.”

Tally proffered her hand. “Thank you, Dun. I really appreciate this.”

“Well, I had to get you out of Austin for just a while.” He waved the papers. “They can’t keep hogging your awesome.” He gestured to the door. “I’ll lock up after you, and see you tomorrow to pick you up for your flight. Where are you eating?”

“The Cliffs,” Liam answered.

“Ooh, took my advice?”

“You’re the one who lives here…I just see a bunch of houses that look funny when I turn my head a certain way.”

Dun started laughing. “You’re just bizarre enough to do that. Anyway. Enjoy. I’ll see you all tomorrow.”

Liam took her hand and led Tally through the door out to the car they had rented. Being in San Francisco was fodder for her paintings, and she had the camera that her adorable sub had bought her for Christmas tucked safely in the car, waiting for the last night of images.

Dunlevy had closed the gallery early, so the sun was still bright and high in the sky. Just the way she liked it for inspiration. She was also secretly happy that Liam had asked for good places to eat and visit.

She was at nearly 1400 pictures on the card in the camera—this would be a whole new series she’d do, and send to Dun exclusively for display in his gallery. Austin didn’t need any right now—Liam had taken her to San Antonio and the Hill Country, and she’d filled a memory card in three days. Worse? She’d run out of canvases less than a month later. She and Liam had spent two weeks stretching and prepping canvases in the renovated, expanded and now well ventilated studio at the back of their house.

Granted, they’d kept getting distracted by the new room only accessible through the studio. Who could resist the wonderful, perfect playroom they’d built there?

All that canvas, stretched just six months ago, was gone. Consumed by the paintings of Texas’s Hill Country. Now, they’d have to spend another two weeks—
hmm, maybe three—
prepping more for her San Fran paintings.

The early dinner at The Cliffs was blissful. Calm and relaxing, Tally could never get enough of the ocean. She’d played with the idea of moving closer to the water, but now that she and Liam were trusted and loved figures in Karim—and there was Lola to think about—she found herself happy where they were. After all, the Gulf wasn’t that far, and there were always planes and islands and the idea of second home.

Liam convinced her to take a walk along the cliffs that the restaurant sat on. She was tired, but this was their last night. He’d chatted about Point Lobos incessantly since they’d landed; he’d been there years before on one of his wanderings and it had stayed with him.

“We’ll walk past Whaler’s Cover to Lobos rock. It’s not that far. You can dive at Whaler’s cover if you wanted.”

“Have you ever been diving?” Tally asked.

“Never.”

“Then make sure that our trip is to Ambergris Caye in Belize,” Tally said. “It’s time you experienced a reef.”

Liam passed her a smile. “Yes, mistress. First class?”

“I did just sell close to one hundred paintings.”

“Good point. Ambergris Caye, here we come.”

Tally laughed as he led her through the low scrub that led to the ocean beyond. There weren’t many people around as they emerged out onto the rough, rocky beach and were immediately whipped by the cold Pacific wind.

Still, she knew why he brought her here. The views were amazing. The rocks that rose out of the ocean’s edges gave the area a sort of fantasy look, and she pulled her camera up to start snapping pictures.

Before she could take a single shot, Liam pulled her in close, and she felt his rock hard erection pressed against her. She did love that he could get hard at just about anything. He leaned down into her ear again, though the chances of his words carrying over the sound of the water crashing were slim. “I’m still wearing it.”

Tally’s jaw dropped. “All this time?”

“Yes.”

“That’s the longest you’ve gone…”

“Since we started playing with it last year.” Liam nodded. “And you know what I want?” Tally hummed her question. “I want you to take it out. Right now. Right here.”

She was pleasantly surprised. “Do you?”

“Yes, please, mistress,” he said.

Liam knew he was playing with fire, topping from the bottom. “Your impertinences are adding to your count. But you already know that, don’t you? That’s what you’re looking for.”

He smiled at her. “I love your paddle.”

“Well, since you’ve been such a good boy…”

Liam let out a ragged breath. “I’m going to come.”

“Good.” Tally gave him the dirtiest little smile she could as she pulled him away from the path, behind some rocks and scrub so that they weren’t disturbed and no one was disturbed. She unfastened his pants, and palmed him. Hard and heavy, she wanted to feel him as he came. Leaning him back against the rock and stepping just to the side so she could tuck his arm into her chest, she snaked her hand around to his ass. The end of the plug nestled between his cheeks, and slowly slipped her fingers into position to pull it out. His eyes were shut, and he was panting hard. Was there anything about this man that she didn’t love? The look on his face, as she stood there ready to make him climax, was perfect.

She removed the plug slowly, watching his face work, his jaw work. She felt the ripples of his body against hers, and finally as she had it nearly out, the temblors that ran through him made his cock jerk in her hands as he spilled himself in climax. Tally moved her hand over his shaft, helping him through the last of his orgasm. He breathed slowly and carefully as she cleaned him and put away the evidence in her purse.

Never in a hundred years had she imagined carrying a Ziploc bag around for sex toys that needed cleaning when they got home. She laughed lightly as she carried out the duties. “Good?”

He flopped his head to the side. “Amazing, as always.”

“I like this voyeur side to you,” Tally admitted.

“I like that it can be so subtle.”

“I like watching you.”

Liam leaned in and took a kiss. “And I love you.”

Tally adored the words. “I love you.”

“You’re so happy now. All the time.” Liam pulled her close, against the right. “Your darkest corners have light in them.”

“My darkest corners are filled with
your
light, Liam. I feel like I have it all. I lost so much and hid in those shadows. Then you came along.” She traced the tip of his jaw with her finger. “You’re happy in Karim?”

“Yes.” There was no hesitation in his answer. “I’m going to get that garden going this year. Now that the house is done. There’s plenty of room out there for the crazy ass garden I want and the play set for Lola.” Liam tilted his head and considered her. “You don’t mind Lola?”

“Mind her?” Tally gave him a full laugh. “That girl is the idea of yellow roses personified. She is infectious. She makes you laugh and smile. She makes all of Karim laugh and smile. She has your eyes, and it’s beautiful to see you with her.” Tally stared out at the ocean for a moment. “You and Dana make amazing parents.”

“You’re not too shabby at helping us either.” He was sincere; the spark of adoration in his eyes let her know that. “Would you like one of your own someday?”

Tally cocked her head, questioningly. “A child?” Liam nodded. Tally was honestly unprepared for the question, and the answer came without thought. “With you, yes.” Considering him a moment, she added, “Maybe even two.”

Liam kissed her, long and slow. There was nothing demanding, just the desire to kiss her and taste her and have her there. Tally was beyond happy.

Liam rested a hand on her shoulder, gently thumbing the column of her neck. “It looks so strange to see you without Simon’s collar.”

“I couldn’t keep wearing it, Liam. Not after I collared you. I will always love Simon in my own way. He is my past. Now I have you here. You’re my present.” She adjusted the lock on his collar.

He studied her face. “You’ve locked up my heart, too, you know.” He paused. “I know you aren’t supposed to wear my collar, but maybe I can ask you to wear a different kind of shackle.” The yellow velvet box was suddenly between them. Liam laughed nervously. “I had a hell of time finding a this box.”

“Oh my God…”

He took her hand and pulled her away from the rocks and toward the ocean. “If I’m your present, I’d like to be your future as well.” He opened it and the diamond, perfect, flawless, sparkling in the bright setting sun, sat there. It shone like it was on fire. “I’m always on my knees near you, so instead I’m going to stand and hope I can fill one more of those ideas you had, for a partner.”

“Liam.”

“Tally. My belle.”

She pulled him in and kissed him hard. She whispered, “Ask me and I’ll say yes.”

“Marry me?”
