The Games We Play Vol. 3 (Riley Grayson) (11 page)

“Or I could just fuck you right here.”

She pulled back slightly.

Riley wondered if he’d gone too far.

“Here?”

He gave his best charming smile. “Why not? We’re in a private booth. No one will notice, and if they do, who cares?”

She looked around the room, seeming to contemplate his suggestion.

“C’mon,” he urged, “it’ll be easy. Just lift your dress,” which he did for her, “pull your panties to the side like this, and,” he shoved a finger up her pussy, “you can suck on my dick.”

She closed her eyes and moaned. Riley wiggled his finger inside of her for a moment before pulling it out and reaching for his zipper. She didn’t stop him, so he assumed it was a go. He released his cock, and guided her mouth toward his swollen cockhead.

Finally, he was acting like his normal self. If Ali was choosing to be out of his life, so be it. So what if he’d never fuck her again. This blowjob would be the start of getting over Ali.

The redhead looked down at his crotch and then back up at him before squeezing his fat shaft and gliding down with her mouth. Riley grabbed the base of his dick and held it as she slid her mouth down on him. God damn it felt good to have a hot mouth wrapped around him right now. He was sure it had something to do with how out of his mind he was with all the alcohol he’d consumed. Still, he couldn’t believe she’d actually agreed to suck him off right here. Ali would never do anything like this. She was better than this . . . slut.

Damn it, he missed her something fierce.

The girl bobbed her head on him, slowly, circling her tongue around his head. He didn’t have the patience for slow right now. He needed it hard and fast. Riley grabbed the back of her head, wrapping her hair in his fist, and encouraged her to move up and down on him. It didn’t really take all that much to show her what he wanted. She was a very willing participant, and soon her mouth was stretched so wide he was able to thrust deeper into the back of her throat.

“That’s right, suck my fucking cock like you mean it.” He grunted the words in between her slurps, which were becoming even more frequent.

“Yeah, this what you like?” she asked, lifting her head and smiling.

He wanted to scream in her face: no, that’s not what I like, you stupid skank! I want Ali!

But he gritted his teeth. He’d encouraged this and he’d deal with it until he came, which thank God he was close to doing.

Still, despite all the alcohol and the immense pleasure he was receiving, there was still Ali. Always in the front of his mind.

Riley wondered whether or not he could be a better person. Make better decisions. Be a one woman man. Yet, despite all these questions he couldn’t bring himself to stop. Mostly because he was on the verge of an orgasm, but more than that—if Ali didn’t want to be bothered to return his calls, why should he stop doing what he enjoyed? His thoughts got the better of him and his frustration grew with each hurtful thought.

The redhead’s moans increased. A clear sign of her enjoyment. Riley let his head fall back to the booth, relishing in how tight her mouth sucked him. A second later he came, busting all his frustration with Ali into her mouth. “Fuck,” he groaned, lifting his hips and burying his cock as far into her throat as he could and staying there until the last of his orgasm left his body.

“Mmm . . . that was good.” She laughed and tried to kiss him, but he turned his face away, shaking his head.

For the first time ever, he felt a pang of guilt and remorse for fucking a random girl. Clearly she’d enjoyed it, and so had he, just not in the way he normally enjoyed sex. Despite coming, he still wasn’t satisfied and was still frustrated with how things with Ali had deteriorated.

He grabbed her shoulders and lifted her away from him. Then he stood, zipped his pants, and headed for the door.

“Hey!” the girl shouted.

Riley didn’t even stop, let alone acknowledge her. He needed to get the hell out of here, away from the walking temptations all around him. He was on a cliff, a dangerous edge that could lead him one of two ways, and in his mind right now there was only one saving grace, Ali. It was obvious what he needed to do. Leaving the club, he stood outside and dialed the same number he’d dialed so many times already this week.

Ali closed her eyes and leaned in, letting the sexy blond guy kiss her again. He wasn’t anywhere near as fun as Riley, but at least he was a decent kisser and very nice to look at. The guy slid his hand around the back of her neck, pulling her closer. “Mmm,” Ali hummed. “Riley,” she whispered.

The guy jerked back. “I’m Steve. Who the hell is Riley?”

“What?” Ali’s eyelids flew open and she tried to focus, but the disco ball lights and her drunken state made it hard to do so. What the hell was she thinking? Riley? Why did she say that?

“I’m outta here.” The guy waved her off and walked away.

Ali watched him walk away, her eyes naturally moving down toward his ass. “Whatever, dude.” She waved her hand and turned on her heel. Staggering back to the bar, she bought another round of drinks and then proceeded to find Hilary who was on the dance floor with some guy. Ali’s attempts to find a suitable man had failed miserably, which was saying a lot considering she’d been trying all damn week. It wasn’t that she couldn’t find one. She’d found plenty. The problem was none of them compared to that drop dead sexy artist, Riley, who made life exciting.

“Here!” Ali thrust the bottle of beer at Hilary.

“What happened to Steve?” Hilary shout-asked over the music.

Ali shrugged and took a drink of her beer. Her cell phone vibrated in her pocket. She pulled it out, looked at the screen, and then shoved her way through the crowd until she made it outside. She needed to take this. “Hello?”

“Ali?”

She leaned against the outside of the building and closed her eyes, letting the sound of his deep, sexy voice wrap around her like a soft blanket. “Riley.”

“Where are you?”

“The Citizen’s Club. Why?”

“I’m coming there. Don’t leave.”

Ali was drunk, but not so drunk she didn’t remember what he’d done to her, what kind of pain he’d caused. “Riley, don’t—”

“Baby, please,” he said. “I need you. I’ll explain everything when I see you.”

She sighed heavily. How the hell was she supposed to say no when all she could think about was him? “I’m out back, standing by the side door.”

“I’ll be there in five minutes.” He hung up before she could say anything else.

She wanted to see him. Badly. But would she have answered his call if she weren’t out and drinking? She really had tried to find someone to take her mind off of him and move on. She’d been on two dates and kissed plenty of guys, but none of them really interested her. And she was really tired of watching Hilary find it so easy to flirt.

A text message popped up on her phone. It was from Hilary.
Where r u?

Ali responded,
Outside. Need air. Be back in soon
.

Hilary would flip out when Ali told her she was waiting outside for Riley but Ali didn’t care. She needed to see him. They had a lot to talk about . She’d deal with Hilary after the fact and she’d come around, she always did.

U okay?
Hilary texted.

Yes. Think I’m going to go home
. Ali hit send then quickly typed another message,
Will have a guy w/ me. Don’t barge into my room
. As soon as she sent that message, she tucked her phone into her pocket and looked up. Riley was walking toward her. No.
Stalking
was a better word. He stalked toward her, eyes dark, body confidently relaxed. Ali’s heart slammed against her chest and she nervously licked her lips. God damn he looked so much better than she remembered.

Riley stepped up to her, took her face into his hands, and pressed his lips to hers. No hello. No how are you? Just a kiss that had her pressed even tighter to the building and her heart thundering in her ears, her body screaming for more. She put her arms around his neck and forced him even closer, needing to remember the feel of his body against hers.

Opening her mouth, she welcomed his kiss, savored the way his tongue worked around hers, exploring her mouth as if it were their first kiss all over again.

Riley groaned in that way she loved. “I’ve missed you,” he muttered seconds before deepening the kiss.

He missed me?
Ali’s heart melted at his admission. “I’ve missed you, too,” she said, but her words were jumbled by his kiss.

“I need you, Ali.” His voice was so deep and raspy it sent shivers through her body. God, how many times this past week had she dreamt of this? Fantasized about him finding her, kissing the breath from her, admitting he needed her, wanted her?

“Let’s get out of here,” she said breathlessly, running her hand down his arm.

He smiled and her knees buckled. “I have a cab waiting.” Taking her hand into his, lacing their fingers, he led her across the parking lot.

CHAPTER 11

The entire cab ride to her apartment was spent kissing. Not once did Riley try to touch her in any other way, and that was okay with him. It wasn’t about rushing things. Besides, he knew having sex in the back of a taxi with a strange man in the front seat wasn’t her idea of a good time. Plus, he wanted her too damn bad to rush it that way.

When the car pulled up in front of her apartment building, Riley threw several bills at the driver, telling him to keep the change. In the elevator, Riley continued to kiss her. He kept his arm around her for the entire walk down the hallway to her apartment door. He just couldn’t stop himself from touching her, being close to her. And honestly, he was scared shitless she’d take off on him again.

Ali unlocked the door and motioned for him to enter. She followed him in, tossed her purse on the entryway table, and then headed to the kitchen. Riley was close behind her and when she turned her back to him he slid his arms around her stomach, resting his chin on her shoulder.

“I’m sorry,” he said softly.

Ali pulled away and turned around to face him. “Why?”

He took a deep breath. He’d sworn to himself if she spoke to him again, he’d apologize. Now was that time. It was a completely unnatural feeling for him, to seek forgiveness. “For that text you saw. I honestly don’t know who—” His words were cut off when she pressed her lips to his.

Riley wrapped his arms around her, lifted her up and set her onto the counter, positioning himself between her open legs, which was exactly where he wanted to be, where he belonged. For the first time in a week, he felt calm. He both loved and hated the effect she had on him.

She curled her fingers into his hair, kissing him deeper, harder, and with so much desperation it made him dizzy. God he loved kissing her. His hands covered her knees and slowly slid up her thighs, his cock thickening the closer his hands got to her crotch. “Ali,” he whispered against her lips, “I want you so bad. Christ help me, you’re all I want.”

She jerked away. “What did you say?”

He rested his forehead on hers and sighed heavily. Shit. He’d gone too far, said too much. This was why he shouldn’t drink and get high around her. His tongue became a little too loose and as a result he said things he shouldn’t. He was coming off as needy and desperate. “I like you, Ali. I’ve liked you since the day I saw you standing in front of my painting.” And there he went again.
Dude, shut the fuck up!

Her delicate hands cupped his face. “I like you, too, Riley. But I’m not like the other,” she frowned, “girls you seem to like.”

“I know,” he said softly, caressing her inner thighs with his thumbs. “It’s one of the reasons I like you so much.” He kissed the sensitive spot behind her ear. It was time for him to man up and finally do the right thing by her. She deserved that. “But, if you don’t want this,” his lips moved across her throat and down her neck, “if you don’t want this with me, from me, I’ll understand. Just know how sorry I am.”

Riley moved the strap of her tank top and kissed along her shoulder. He stopped when Ali reached down and grasped the hem of his shirt, yanking it off over his head. She trailed her fingers across his chest and down his stomach. Goose bumps erupted on his skin and he trembled with anticipation. Yes! Thank fucking God she wasn’t going to make him leave.

I swear to all that is holy, I will never, ever, do anything to jeopardize this with her. I’ll make things right, I promise.

“I want you, Riley,” she said so quietly he almost missed it. “Right here. Right now.” Then she removed her shirt.

His dick jerked at the sight of her erect nipples.
Dear God, please don’t let me be dreaming again.
He slanted his lips over her mouth, his hand cupping her breast. She moaned and arched into his touch. He rolled her nipple between his thumb and forefinger, teasing it into a painfully hard peak. Shit, her skin felt a million times better than he remembered. He could get lost in her, touching her.

Her fingers fumbled with the button on his jeans until she managed to slip her hand inside them and stroke his shaft. The feel of her nails grazing along his cock was incredible. It had his balls tightening with the need for release. Riley groaned. “Fuck, baby.” As much as he wanted to strip her naked and pound into her, he refused to rush this after how long he’d waited to be with her.
