The Geek and His Artist (34 page)

He briefly considered stopping to turn on a light. He wanted to be able to see Simon better, but he was afraid it would bring unwelcome company, so he set that want aside for another time. He worked the pants and underwear off and tossed them off the side of the bed. Then he pushed his own boxers off and added them to the pile too.

He settled back on top of Simon, moaning at the feel of skin against skin. Simon felt
incredible
, and he rocked, grinding himself into Simon, but knew he had to stop or it would end much too soon. Instead, he concentrated on kissing Simon again, getting a little lost in the feel of their lips and tongues, not caring if he nearly ran out of air. When they broke apart, he sucked in a breath, then went back to it, unable to resist.

Finally he remembered what Simon had asked, remembered what
he
really wanted, and moved over to dig into the drawer of the bedside table. He came back with the bottle he’d bought the other day and sat up. He cleared his throat, blushing at what he was about to ask. “I know, uh, I know you said you haven’t done anything with anyone. Do you, err… know what to expect?” By the time he got the question out, his face was so hot, he thought he’d go up in flames right there.

Simon swallowed. “Uh, not… not really. I’ve never even, uh, played with my… err my butt.”

Jimmy nodded. “Okay. I, err….” He closed his mouth with a snap and squeezed his eyes shut, trying not to die. He took a breath, then another and opened his eyes again. “I need to, uh… pre—” His voice broke and he cleared his throat. “Prepare you.”

Simon nodded. “Okay.” He lifted his good leg and moved it to the side, spreading himself for Jimmy.

The vision alone nearly undid him. Jimmy had to close his eyes and breathe slowly or he’d go off right there on Simon’s stomach. That thought was enough to calm him down. He focused on the bottle, opening it and squeezing some of the lube onto his fingers.

He leaned forward, bracing himself on one hand, the other sliding along Simon’s body to find his entrance. When Jimmy found it, he had to force himself to go slow, determined to make it good for Simon. He’d done enough reading to know he could screw this up—and, subsequently, Simon’s enjoyment of sex—if he wasn’t careful.

But dear
God
, it felt good, just the little bit he was doing. One finger, all he’d used so far was one finger, and it was so good, he wasn’t sure if he’d manage to keep from going off too fast. He forced himself to breathe slowly, doing his best to focus on Simon’s body. He tried to combine pleasure with the prep, but after only a few strokes to Simon’s cock, Simon nearly begged him to stop.

But when he graduated to two fingers, Jimmy saw Simon tense and, worried Simon would lose his arousal, went back to pleasuring Simon while he worked. He was too desperate to replace his fingers with his cock, so he knew he wouldn’t lose his own erection.

The more he worked, the more Simon moaned and the harder it got to remember what he needed to do. And when he’d pushed three fingers into Simon, he actually had to grip his own cock hard at the base and pause, counting slowly backward as he breathed. Just as he hit two, Simon spoke.

“Please, don’t… no more, just… please, Jimmy… need….”

And Jimmy couldn’t possibly have denied Simon in that moment. His hands shook as he opened the lube again and tried to squeeze some out. They shook so much, in fact, that he dropped the bottle. He reached out to get it, but Simon beat him to it. Jimmy went to pick it up, but Simon shook his head, opened it, and poured it into his own hand, then reached out and coated Jimmy with it.

Jimmy bit brutally at his lip, the feel of Simon’s hand on him too much. He sank his teeth in so hard to try to hold on, he tasted blood. He couldn’t seem to breathe until Simon moved his hand away.

“How should I… uh….” Simon stumbled over his words, cheeks darkening again.

Simon’s hesitance and the color on his cheeks were enough to calm Jimmy down a little. “I read that you should, uh, be on top the first time, but with your leg, I don’t think that’s the best thing.” Jimmy leaned forward, unable to resist kissing Simon again. “You should probably be, uh, on your hands and knees. That might be easiest….”

Simon frowned and chewed his lip. “But… I… I want to see you.”

Jimmy nodded. “I do too. Just…. Well… if it hurts, tell me?”

“I will,” Simon murmured, laying back and lifting his legs.

Jimmy’s body reacted to the vision, and he went back to trying to simply breathe as he got into place. He put Simon’s legs over his arms and lined up, but when he saw just how much bigger he was compared to Simon’s entrance, he hesitated, afraid of hurting his boyfriend. Jimmy dragged the tip over it for a moment as he tried to think it through, but higher thought was nothing more than a memory. He knew it stretched, had just felt that.

“Jimmy?” Simon whispered, breaking Jimmy from the hold his fear had on him.

He pushed slowly, gritting his teeth at the absolutely incredible feel. If he made it all the way in before losing it, he knew it would be a miracle. He watched Simon’s face the whole time, waiting to see the slightest wince, hesitation, tenseness, but Jimmy had a feeling Simon was doing his best to keep anything like that out of his expression. Still, Jimmy kept it slow, and it felt like an eternity until he’d passed that ring of muscle. He paused there, giving Simon a chance to adjust to being filled.

Simon panted, swallowed, then opened his mouth. “That feels… amazing,” he whispered.

It took all Jimmy had to keep from reacting to those words by pushing the rest of the way in one move. He managed, but he needed every ounce of willpower and control he had. He couldn’t, however, resist moving at least a little.

The eternity turned into forever as Jimmy worked his way into Simon. He had no idea how long he took, slowly pushing in, then easing back, all while watching Simon’s expression. But he never saw anything there but want, need, even a little impatience, and finally Jimmy bottomed out, burying himself completely in Simon’s body.

“I never thought… I mean, I knew it would feel good, but I didn’t think it’d be
this
good,” Jimmy murmured. He panted hard as he worked to find some way to hold on to his control.

“I know. It is, you feel… amazing,” Simon whispered, and Jimmy couldn’t help but feel wonderful at the sound of strain in Simon’s voice.

He leaned in and kissed Simon thoroughly, then sat up. “Are you okay? Your leg? Nothing hurts, right?”

Simon shook his head. “Nothing hurts, it feels really good.”

Jimmy nodded, then gathered the tattered edges of his control and started moving.

But after all the build-up, the newness, everything else, he knew within an embarrassingly short amount of time, he was going to go off. He shifted enough to wrap his hand around Simon, hoping he could at least get his boyfriend off first, and the effort he put into paying attention to Simon helped. He focused on Simon’s face, watching for some hint that Simon was close. Simon gripped Jimmy’s leg with one hand; the other, he used to brace himself against the headboard. His eyes were closed, head thrown back, and Jimmy knew, despite how hard it was to see, he’d have the image burned into his brain for a very long time.

Especially when Simon grunted, then said through clenched teeth, “Close.” He bit his lip, and then his eyes flew open and his gaze met Jimmy’s. “Oh God, Jimmy.”

And that was it, that was all he needed, his name in Simon’s voice, just like that, strained, full of pleasure. Jimmy lost it. He gritted his teeth hard, and it was muffled, but still Simon’s name came out.

Simon’s hand tightened on his leg, and a few seconds behind him, he felt the warmth of Simon’s release over his hand. It triggered an aftershock of pleasure, pulling another quiet moan from Jimmy.

It took everything Jimmy had to keep from just collapsing onto Simon and crushing his lover into the bed. He eased from Simon, frowning when Simon winced, then let Simon’s legs go, keeping his head enough to lower the cast carefully. He lay back on the bed, pulling Simon into his arms.

He’d forgotten his hand was a mess, but couldn’t worry about it. All he could do was hold Simon as close as possible, as the words “I just made love to Simon!” ran amok through his head.

He’d just made love to Simon!

“That was… I didn’t expect it to feel like that,” Simon whispered, and Jimmy savored the light kisses to his chest Simon gave him between words.

“I… I thought it would feel good, I just didn’t know it would be like that. Wow.” He kissed Simon’s forehead and temple, then looked down at his boyfriend’s face. “You’re amazing. I love you.”

Simon’s smile was beautiful. “You are. I love you too.”

Jimmy kissed him softly. “I can’t wait until your leg is healed.”

“Oh?” Simon raised his eyebrows.

Jimmy nodded. “Yup. I want to be where you were sometime.”

Simon’s eyes widened, and Jimmy grinned at the look of heat. “Oh, I thought… I mean, I didn’t—” He shook his head.

“Didn’t think I’d want that?”

Simon nodded. “Yeah. Sorry, I….” He shrugged a shoulder.

Jimmy brushed the backs of his fingers over Simon’s cheek. “I’ve read stuff like that. Where guys would only do one or the other, but….” He smiled. “Are you kidding? I love your dick. I want to feel it too.” He grinned when Simon’s face turned red.

“Jimmy!” he moaned.

Jimmy chuckled and kissed his cheeks, then his forehead. “Sorry, baby.”

Simon snorted. They fell into silence for several long moments. Jimmy knew they should get up and clean up, but he didn’t want to let Simon out of his arms just yet.

“I’m sorry I put that distance between us,” he said, finally voicing his worry.

Simon shook his head. “No, you didn’t. I know you were worried. I should have told you it was okay.” Jimmy raised his eyebrows and Simon nodded. “Yes. I saw it in your eyes. I was just… messed up. Over the court thing, then the broken jar, then… and I…. God, when am I going to learn to just… let you help?”

Jimmy brushed some of Simon’s hair back. “I should have more patience. I was….” He blushed. “I was jealous of Mom.”

Simon raised his eyebrows.

“Yeah. She managed to calm you down when I couldn’t. And it bothered me.” He shook his head. “I just… I wanted to be the one you came to for help and to feel better.” He focused on Simon’s shoulder, unable to meet Simon’s gaze.

But Simon put a hand under Jimmy’s chin and turned his face to Simon’s. “You did help me. I… I guess I needed an adult to tell me I wasn’t in trouble. That’s going to take a while for me to get over. But your arms around me, your voice telling me it was okay, that’s what really grounded me. And when I woke up?” Jimmy nodded. “That was all you. You are the one that makes me feel safe when nothing else does.”

Jimmy closed his eyes, fighting against the tears that threatened at that. “I don’t deserve you. I was an ass,” he whispered.

“No, no you weren’t. It’s okay, baby, I mean that.”

Jimmy opened his eyes again and looked into Simon’s. “I’ll try not to be like that again. I’ll help, be patient.”

Simon smiled. “I don’t think you need to, but… okay.”

“I love you, Simon.”

“I love you.” Jimmy closed the short distance, and the kiss they shared was so tender, so sweet, it nearly broke him. But it didn’t, it warmed him in all the right places, filled him with hope for them, for their future. If they could get through the next few months, get past some of Simon’s fears, he thought they had a real chance.

opened his eyes, he grinned. He felt
amazing
. The cast was gone and his leg only twinged a little. The bruises were nothing but a bad memory. He was sprawled over his boyfriend’s chest and he breathed in Jimmy’s wonderful scent. He’d never been warmer or more comfortable in his life, despite—or maybe it was especially because of—the twin morning woods between them.

And the icing on the cake: it was Jimmy’s eighteenth birthday.

Which gave him a seriously wicked idea to go with the day and their current state. He glanced up at Jimmy’s face, grin widening when he saw Jimmy was still passed out cold. Very carefully he extricated himself from Jimmy’s arms and slid down under the covers.

He was quite grateful Jimmy had started wearing nothing to bed. After the first night they’d made love, they’d both ditched the pajamas quickly. In fact, after cleaning up, they’d fallen asleep together quite naked and had been happy to sleep that way every night of the five weeks since.

He nearly groaned when he shifted and lay on his own arousal. But his wish to not wake Jimmy
just
yet helped him keep it contained. He finally got in place and swallowed Jimmy completely in one move, grateful for the practice he’d had.

“Holy shit!” Jimmy nearly shouted.

Simon giggled around Jimmy’s length, looking up with mischievous eyes when the comforter was lifted. Jimmy blinked down at him in shock, and Simon raised his eyebrows without moving anything else, asking silently, “Is this okay?”

Jimmy seemed to get it, and one hand landed on Simon’s head, brown eyes closing and Jimmy’s head falling back against the pillow with a—muted—groan. Simon would have grinned if his mouth wasn’t full. Instead, he turned his attention to the first birthday gift he had for his boyfriend.

A few moments and a messy sheet later—they needed to do laundry, anyway—Simon was once again grinning at Jimmy’s shocked face. “Happy birthday, baby.”

Jimmy shook his head, face splitting into a wide smile of his own. “Come here,” he murmured, holding his hand out, and Simon crawled up to Jimmy’s side. “Thank you. That’s a hell of a way to wake up. You’re going to spoil me.”

Simon sniffed. “Please. It’s only because it’s your birthday, and I expect to wake up like that for
my
birthday.”

Jimmy smirked. “Oh, really? It wasn’t my birthday last week that almost made us late for school. Or the Saturday before that when Mom had to call us four times for breakfast. Or the—”
