“I said, patience,” he barked against her thatch of hair.

The command in his voice only accentuated her desire. He sounded so fucking sexy.
Spreading her labia, he softly blew against her and she groaned with the beginning
throbs of her orgasm. Oh, God. She was going to come, and he hadn’t even touched her
yet.

“Such a beautiful pussy.” His tongue dipped into her channel and she thought she would
explode. “So sweet. Do you know what I want to do to this pussy, Kay?”

“What?” she gasped. “Tell me.”

“I want to eat it, lick at its juices.”

Her chest rose and fell in short pants with each phrase he uttered.

“Then bury my cock in it balls deep.”

His teeth slowly nibbled a path back up her body. All the while the head of his impossibly
hard rod teased the opening to her sex.

“Yes,” she sighed.

“Would you like that, Kay? Would you like me to fuck you?”

“Oh God, yes.”

Standing straight, he hooked her legs over his shoulders, then plunged deep into her
pussy. She screamed as her muscles spasmed and clenched at his cock. He pulled out,
then drove in again, his thrusts relentless, his size overwhelming.

Every inch of her body tensed as her release hit with a vengeance. She pulsed over
and over, her head swam with the heady feeling of him thrusting into her harder and
deeper. Moving his hands beneath her ass, he gripped her tight and held her immobile
as he pummeled her harder still.

Her breasts bounced with his efforts and she reached up to squeeze them, her fingers
pinching her nipples.

“Oh, fuck yeah, Kay,” he growled.

She opened her eyes and saw him watching her hands. She squeezed again and ran her
palms around her nipples, making them stand out hard and firm. The muscle in his cheek
bunched and his eyes narrowed. The exertion of holding back evident in his face. Moving
her hand lower, she brushed across her engorged clit and gasped.

Oh, God, that felt good.

Steve’s eyes glowed with a hunger she’d never seen before as she moved even lower
and touched were his cock moved in and out of her. He slowed, allowing her to feel
his wet shaft as it plunged then retreated.

“Feel that baby?” he groaned, his eyes glued to her exploring hand. “Feel how I fill
you. How good we are together.”

They did fit good together, she acknowledged. So damn good. Her juices coated her
fingers as she moved back up and circled her clit.

“God, damn, that’s hot,” Steve rumbled. “Taste yourself, Kay. Put your finger in your
mouth a suck your juices while I make you come.”

She complied. The musky, sweet taste was a surprise as she slipped her finger in her
mouth and sucked. True to his word, he pounded harder, and to her amazement she exploded
again—stronger than the last time. Throwing her head back she screamed loudly until
Steve collapsed on top of her, his mouth swallowing her remaining sighs.

Chapter 8

Spreading her towel on the hot sand, Kayla looked up at the blue sky. There wasn’t
a cloud anywhere and the afternoon promised to be a scorcher. Grabbing her sunscreen
from the bag at her side, she sat on the towel and began to smooth the cream on her
legs and arms.

A waiter walked by, and she waved, getting his attention.

“Yes, ma’am?” he asked with a smile.

“Could I get a strawberry daiquiri, please?”

“Of course. I’ll be right back.”

“Thank you.”

With a sigh, she closed the sunscreen tube and dropped it into the sand beside her.
Steve had gotten a call from the maintenance hangar and had taken a taxi to the airport.
Placing a kiss to her cheek, he’d told her he’d catch up to her later.

If she were honest with herself, the time alone is what she needed right now. She
needed to distance herself, to remind her heart that nothing would come of this relationship.
He was a pilot. He would never be home to help with things around the house or kids
if they had any.

He was also gorgeous, so there would always be the flirty, young flight attendants
looking for their next fling or rich husband. Most of them didn’t care if they were
married or not. She’d seen it happen. She wouldn’t be able to handle it if someone
stole Steve from her, so it was just better to let him go now.

Her heart ached at the thought. Damn. How did she let this happen? She glanced to
her right and noticed Jordan making his way down the crowded beach. He met her gaze
and waved before heading in her direction.

It’s all Jordan’s fault
, she thought as she watched him. He was the one who talked her into this really bad
idea.
Who am I kidding? I jumped in full steam ahead. It’s my fault and no one else’s.

As he weaved his way through the throng of people, she admired his muscular chest.
It wasn’t thick and bulging like Steve’s but firm and lean. He was definitely toned
and fit. She grinned at a couple of women who openly ogled him. Jordan didn’t pay
them any attention; he just kept right on going. She shook her head. It was such a
waste of a hot male specimen.

But Jordan was Jordan and that would never change.

“Morning, doll,” he said with a smile and spread his towel out next to her.

“It’s afternoon, sweetie, catch up.”

“Is it?” He glanced up at the sky, shielding his eyes from the sun. “Wow, I guess
it is. It’s amazing how much time flies by when you’re having fun.”

Kayla cringed. “Please. I’m too sober for the details.”

Jordan laughed and sat down next to her. His fingers brushed across her shoulders,
and she looked to see what he was trying to wipe away.

“Your back’s getting a little pink, Hon. Hand me the sunscreen.”

She handed it to him, then closed her eyes as he massaged the cold, wet cream into
her skin.

“Those women over there keep staring at you,” she mumbled.

“Please. They’re wasting their time.”

“You’re not really gay, Jordan. You’re just confused. When are you going to accept
that?” she teased.

“Honey, I’ve seen you naked. If after that I’m still interested in a man, then I’m
as gay as they come.”

Kayla laughed and stared out at a sailboat in the distance, slowly working its way
through the turquoise waves.

“Well?” Jordan prodded.

“Well what?”

She stretched out on her stomach, laying her head on her hands. Jordan lay next to
her, his head turned so that they faced each other.

“Are you all right?” he asked.

“Yeah, I suppose. Why wouldn’t I be?”

“I’m just checking. I know I kind of pushed you into this thing with Captain gorgeous
ass. Which is going how, by the way?”

Kayla bit at her lip, trying to hide the grin. “Better not let Steve hear you call
him that.”

Jordan snorted. “The man is a god and he knows it. And unless I’m mistaken or have
recently gone deaf, you never answered my question.”

“Steve and I are having a great time.”

“That’s it?”

She shrugged. Jordan continued to study her, and she squirmed uncomfortably. He was
waiting on her to say something else, something she didn’t want to admit. She’d already
admitted it to herself and had faced the fact that once they got back she’d have a
long road to travel. Alone. Without Steve.

“How did your date go last night?” she asked.

His lips quirked in amusement. “Thought you were too sober for the details?”

Kayla sighed. “I’m trying to change the subject here, Jordan. Work with me.”

He chuckled and rose up to his elbows. “It was nice. We have plans again for later,
but he has to work the midnight shift, so it’ll be our last time together.”

“Are you sad?”

He shook his head, his lips pursing in thought. “No. I knew going in it was only a
temp thing.” He sighed. “Story of my life.”

She rose up on her elbows and put her hand on his forearm in support. “You’ll find
someone.”

“And if I don’t, I still have you.” He grinned. “We’ll be Miami’s answer to Will and
Grace.”

She laughed. “You betcha.”

“Your drink, ma’am,” the waiter announced.

Kayla pushed to her knees and took the cool, frozen drink he offered. Taking a sip,
she smiled. “It’s perfect, thank you.”

“My pleasure.” He bowed slightly then walked toward another group of people vying
for his attention.

“Hey,” Jordan snapped playfully. “You ordered a daiquiri and didn’t order me one?
How could you?”

“I didn’t know you were coming.”

“Well, then you’ll just have to share.”

“Get your own,” she taunted, hiding her smile.

Jordan pointed to the waiter’s retreating back. “He’s already gone.”

Kayla fought a grin. “You’ve got two legs.” Her eyes raked over his hard thighs. “A
little on the lean side, but…”

“Lean my ass. I’ll have you know men love my thighs.” He wiggled his eyebrows and
slid his palm up the side of his leg.

A giggle escaped, making her choke on the drink. “And here I thought your kind were
ass men.”

Jordan snickered and pushed to his knees. Leaning close, he whispered, “Honey, the
ass is only part of the package. Myself? I’m a dick man.”

Kayla laughed. She loved joking around with Jordan. He was such a hoot.

“Come on, Kay. Give me a sip of your drink. I need something cold,” Jordan pouted.

“Yeah, and people in hell need ice water,” she teased with a smirk.

Jordan scowled and reached over to poke at her waist, tickling her. She squealed and
laughed, holding the drink just out of his reach.

“What the hell is going on here?”

Steve’s deep voice skimmed over her flesh, and she glanced over her shoulder in surprise.
He stood behind her, his arms folded across his bare chest, his eyes twinkling in
amusement. Jordan grabbed the drink from her hand, and she jerked back around, slapping
him on the shoulder. Jordan chuckled around the straw embedded in the frozen drink.

“Am I going to have to send the two of you to your rooms?” Steve asked.

Jordan stuck his lower lip out, his eyes narrowing in an exaggerated snarl. “It was
all her fault. She wouldn’t share.”

Steve shook his head. “Jordan, you’re more gay before three than most people are in
a week.”

Kayla laughed so hard she actually snorted. She slapped her hand over her mouth, her
face heating in embarrassment. Out of the corner of her eye, she caught Steve chuckling.

“Did you just snort?” he asked.

She shook her head, her shoulders quaking in silent laughter. “No.”

Jordan waved a hand. “That was nothing. Wait until she really gets going.”

Kayla’s eyes widened, and she glared at Jordan, his smile just the perfect picture
of innocence. “You are such an ass,” she said as she slapped his chest playfully.

“No, Kay, remember? I’m an ass man.”

“Oh, God,” Steve mumbled, and this time Jordan laughed. “That’s certainly more info
than I wanted.”

“Here.” Jordan handed Kayla’s drink back to her. “I’m going to head out to the water
for a dip. You two talk.” He waved his hand as he headed toward the ocean. “Or whatever
it is that you people do.”

Steve shook his head in amusement and dropped down on the towel next to her, his eyes
raking over her curves, sending a shock of desire through her veins. “Nice swimsuit.”

She smiled seductively. “You’ve seen it before.”

“Yeah, but that day you were taking it off, so I was more interested in what lay beneath
it as opposed to the suit itself.”

She chuckled and settled next to him. “What did you find out about the plane,” she
asked before taking a sip of her drink.

“They’ll be finished with it tonight and we can head out first thing in the morning.”

Kayla nodded and glanced back out at the ocean. She didn’t want to go back. She wanted
to remain here, keep the relationship she had with Steve. Why in the hell did she
let herself fall in love with him?

“So what’s this fantasy you have?” she asked.

He moved his gaze around the beach. Several women stood at the bar a few feet away,
and he nodded toward them. “You know. I’ve always wanted to have a threesome.”

“Really?” She turned to study the women, her brow creased in thought.

She didn’t like the idea of sharing him at all, but since he’d catered to her fantasy,
should she to his? Could she really watch him touch another woman? Her stomach knotted
at the thought, but she kept her emotions to herself for now.

*

Steve frowned slightly. Kayla’s reaction wasn’t quite what he had been expecting.
It wasn’t indifference, but it wasn’t excitement either. Maybe something in between?
He tried to decipher her feelings as he watched her. He didn’t really care for jealous
drama queens, but he’d at least wanted to get some sort of rise out of her.

“You’re okay with that?”

She shrugged. “I’ve done it before. Twice actually.”

He blinked, the vision of her kissing another woman making his heart skip a beat.
“Excuse me?”

“What?” she asked with a grin. “I don’t look like the type?”

“Well, no. It’s not that.” He wasn’t quite sure what to say. Her announcement had
just ruined what he’d had planned. “I was actually only looking to get a rise out
of you, then you spout off that you’ve already done it. Damn, maybe I should rethink
this fantasy thing.”

“Rethink it?” she asked with a grin.

“Well, yeah. I mean if you’re willing, hell, bring ’em on.”

Kayla laughed and shoved at his arm. “Stop.”

He smiled and tucked a curl behind her ear.

“Do you really want that?” she asked, just a hint of uncertainty in her eyes.

“No. I’ve been there, done that. It’s not all it’s cracked up to be.”

“No?”

“No. It’s nice. Sexy.” He shrugged a shoulder. “Just too impersonal, I think.” Or
at least for what he had in mind with Kayla. “Know what I mean?”

“Yeah, I think so.” She licked her lips and let out a breath.

Was it in relief? Did the idea of another woman touching him bother her? He hoped
so. That would mean he was making progress.
