I need to hear it Alex.
Tell me you’re mine.”

Casper, I was always
yours.” My whole body hummed with excitement. Just hearing her say
those words was the best thing I have ever heard in my life. I
kissed her lips, slipping my tongue out to get a taste. I tugged
lightly on her bottom lip, sucking before I let go. I kissed her
chin, her neck, traveling down her chest. I skimmed my palm over
her side, creating little bumps on her skin. I blew hot air over
her nipple making it hard. Her chest pushed up into my mouth. I
smiled, opening wide, and sucked her breast over her shirt. Her
lips formed a breathless O as I cupped the other breast.

Alex’s hands found their way into my hair.
She lightly grazed my scalp with her finger nails causing me to
moan against her breast and making her skin vibrate from the sound.
I pushed her shirt up, kissing the skin above her shorts, moving
lower. Both hands smoothed over her hips and around to her backside
so I could remove her shorts, but not before I gave a squeeze. She
giggled softly at my teasing. Next I removed her top not wanting
anything from keeping me from seeing her naked body. She smiled up
at me as I grazed my fingers gently across her temple and cheek.
“You are so beautiful,” I whispered. I ran my thumb over her bottom
lip. She kissed my thumb. I pushed her knees apart, running my
fingers along the smooth silky white skin of her inner thighs. Her
breath was heavy as my tongue licked her bikini line. I wanted to
tease her and torture her. I enjoyed working her up into a frenzy.
It excited me in ways I couldn’t explain. My mouth hovered just
above her most sensitive areas. “Is Declan home?” I asked, my warm
breath blowing on her.

No,” she
gasped.

Is your body guard going
to be back anytime soon?”

She laughed. “No.”

I grinned wide. “I’m going to make you
scream.” I spread her wide with my fingers. I licked her once,
twice before running a finger over the slick surface. She gasped,
urging me to continue. I wanted to bury my face in between her legs
and go to town but Alex was delicate and I needed to take my time
with her. I slipped a finger in slowly and then pulled it right
back out before sliding in again. When I knew she was ready, I
slipped in a second, gradually building speed. Alex’s hips pushed
down on my fingers. I wrapped an arm around her leg to keep her
steady.

She stopped and sat up on her elbows. I
looked up. “I thought you said you were going to make me scream?” I
raised a brow at her. She sat up all the way and grabbed my chin,
pulling me in for a kiss. “Mm,” she licked her lips. My dick was
now fully erect and rubbing against the inside of my jeans. “You
need to stop being a little pussy bitch and fuck me,” she said
against my lips. I froze for a second, not believing what I just
heard. She dragged her tongue over my chin, lips, flicking the tip
of my nose.

I growled, throwing her down on the bed. She
laughed excitedly. “You are in for a world of trouble little girl.”
Gripping her thighs I yanked her down lower on the bed, bending to
bury my face in between her legs. Now that I didn’t have to hold
back, I just went for it. Lips sucking, teeth nibbling as I slipped
back in two fingers. I dipped my tongue in deep, circling her clit
as I finger fucked her hard. She yelped, arching her back.

Casper,” she cried. Her
heels pushed down onto the bed, slipping on the sheets. I dug in
deeper, lips practically buried inside her. She was quivering and I
knew she was close. I slipped in a third finger nearly sending her
over the edge. My fingers and tongue moved simultaneously until she
screamed. I pulled my fingers out slowly, pushing in again. She
clenched, gasping. I placed a kiss on her clit while pulling my
fingers out. My tongue flicked out, licking her soft, warm wetness.
She whimpered, grabbing me by the hair and pulling me on top of
her. I kissed and bit her lips so hard I thought I might bruise
them. She threw me on to my back, tearing at my pants trying to get
them off.

She reached into her nightstand and
retrieved a condom. She ripped the package open with her teeth and
slipped the rubber over my hard shaft. Lifting her hips, she
positioned herself above me, gripping the base of my cock to slip
inside her. We both let out a gasp at the sensation. Gripping her
hips I pushed myself into her as she rode me, rocking back and
forth.

We both lay back on the bed, panting, our
bodies covered in sweat. I gripped the side of her face, turning
her to face me. “I love you Alex,” I said, pressing a soft kiss to
her lips. She smiled back, running her fingers in my hair. “I’m
sorry for all the ways I hurt you. I’m sorry that you had –”

She pressed her fingers to my lips. “Shh,
all that doesn’t matter now.” I smiled, staring into her beautiful
green eyes. “What are you doing tonight?”

You,” I grinned, grabbing
her behind and pulling her closer to me.

Cute, but no.” I frowned.
“I have plans.”

With who?” I asked a
little too defensively.

Declan and my
brothers.”

Cancel,” I said as I
began to kiss her neck.

I can’t.”

Sure you can.” I kissed
her lips and she pulled away. I narrowed my eyes at her.

If you would stop being
such a whore for a second and listen.”

Ouch. Funny.”

Well you weren’t
listening,” she giggled.

Fine,” I said, resting my
chin on her chest. “I’m all ears.”

The guy that you like to
call my body guard,” I raised my brows. “Is my brother Jack. He got
leave for a couple days before he has to ship out and we’re all
getting together tonight.” That would explain why he looked
familiar. “And I want you to come with.”

Really?” I asked, feeling
slightly nervous and excited at the same time. I did confess my
love to Alex right in front him. She smiled, biting her lower lip.
“I’d love to.”

Chapter 20

Alexis

Casper told me he loved me. He said I love
you, several times. I thought about those three little words as I
washed away all the dirtiness from our earlier activities. After
inviting him to hang with my family tonight, I sent him on his way,
knowing if I didn’t we would never make it there and my brothers
would come looking for me and they would be armed.

I sighed, content, as I washed the
conditioner out of my hair. Casper was in love with me, he loved me
and I think I loved him too. I didn’t say it back. I couldn’t. I
wasn’t ready yet. I knew the moment I told him, when those words
left my lips, that would be it. That would be the end for me. No
one else would be able to fulfill the need the way Casper did.

I almost didn’t answer the door. I almost
walked away from Casper. But Jack had convinced me not to. “It’s
your choice Alex,” he said. “Some risks are worth taking,” he
smiled, flicking my chin. In that moment I knew. Casper was worth
the risk. All the heartache and pain I put myself through because I
was too scared. Too scared to open myself to the potential of
someone who needed me just as much as I needed them.

I turned off the water and stepped out of
the shower, happier than I had been in weeks. I wiped the fog from
the mirror and stared at my smiling reflection. I haven’t had the
courage to smile since I caught Reece with his pants down. Just
thinking about it made my smile falter. I scratched the thought
from my mind. He could no longer hurt me. I made sure of that. He
actually had the audacity to show up at my place begging for
forgiveness. He would text me, send me flowers and gifts. I
shredded everything and mailed it back to him. I think he finally
got the hint when I cut off the head of the teddy bear he sent me
and stabbed it in the pretend balls. He stopped texting after that.
Last I heard he moved on, pretty quickly if I might add, to some
short, anorexic brunette who he met at my work of all places. I
could have cared less. C’est la vie.

Jack had come over to the house alone, to
surprise me. Everyone had forewarned him of my mood and that was
the reason they had all decided to stay away. They even went as far
as to ask Jack to not invite me out with them for fear of who I
would decide to take my anger out on. I was pretty harsh to them,
but in my defense, they deserved it. I was also pretty sure Jack
had already informed them of Casper’s confession. I myself still
couldn’t believe it. I floated down the hall to my room searching
through my closet for something to wear. When I couldn’t find
anything, I called Declan and asked her to go shopping. I heard a
lot of static, a clang, and then some muffled scratching.

Sorry, dropped the phone.
What did you say?”

I covered my mouth to mute my laugh. “I
said, I want to go shopping for an outfit tonight. Are you coming
with or not?”

I’ll be there in five
minutes.” The line went silent. I laughed, tossing my phone on the
bed and looked for a pair of jeans and shirt to wear.

I had just finished drying my hair when my
bedroom door slammed open. Declan stood there, breathless, both
hands perched on the wooden frame. I looked up at her, brows
raised. “Who are you and what have you done with Alex?”

I rolled my eyes. “Declan, seriously.” She
eyed me suspiciously. “So I take it you weren’t at Colt’s.”

Yes, but…” She was so
confused. It was obvious she hadn’t run into Casper, which made me
wonder where he was. “Why are you so happy?”

Can’t a girl just be
happy and want to go shopping with her best friend just for the
hell of it?”

Normal girls, yes. You,
no.” She let go of the door and took a step into the room looking
around for clues.

I narrowed my eyes at her. “What exactly are
you looking for?”

The real
Alex.”

Declan, knock it
off.”

Wait a minute, where’s
Casper?” I shrugged. I honestly didn’t know. “Colt said he was on
his way over here and now,” she gasped. “You didn’t. You finally
did it. That’s why you’re so happy.” I was about to tell her yes
until the conversation took a turn for the worst. “You killed him
and buried his body in the woods. Okay, we need an alibi. I was
with you the whole time,” she rambled on and on.

I fought the urge to smack her. “Declan,
snap out of it,” I said, shaking her shoulders. “I did not kill
Casper.” I stifled an eye roll. “But good to know you’ve got my
back.”

We’re family,” she
shrugged like it was nothing. “What’s going on then?”

I let out a deep breath and smiled. “Casper
told me he loved me.” She gasped again, covering her mouth. I
dropped my arms and took a step back.

And?” she
prompted.

And, well, not going to
go into too many details but –”

She held up a hand to stop me. “What did you
say to him?”

Well, we didn’t do a lot
of talking. If you know what I mean.”

She jumped on my bed bouncing up and down on
her knees. “So what does all this mean? Did you say it back? Did
you tell him you love him too?” I turned away from her shaking my
head. Her excitement faded again. “Alex, what am I missing here?
You do like Casper, don’t you?”

Yes, absolutely. I just
wasn’t ready to say it back. I’m not quite prepared for the
aftermath of those words.”

What do you mean?” she
asked, sitting back on her heels and giving me her full
attention.

I just want to be
prepared for the consequences of what I say.” She looked at me
confused. “I never told anyone I loved them and there never was
anyone I did. So I know once I say it I’m going to be opening up my
heart and exposing it to all kinds of dangers. I’m going to be
putting everything on the line once I do this and I’m just scared.
I never felt this way about someone and I’m not sure what to
do.”

Declan pulled me down on the bed next to
her. “Alex, I understand and it’s perfectly normal to be scared. I
can promise you this, Casper isn’t going anywhere. That boy is head
over heels in love with you and would give up his left nut to be
with you.” I raised a brow. “I’m serious Alex, you have no idea the
bullshit Colt and I had to go through with him. I’m just glad it’s
finally over.”

Almost.” She pulled back.
“Jack has to approve.”

Well you don’t have to
worry about that for a while.”

More like a couple of
hours.” She looked at me surprised. “Jack’s home and we’re all
going out tonight, hence the new outfit.”

And you’re just telling
me this now?”

Hey, he surprised me this
morning, just before Casper showed up to confess his
love.”

No way,” her eyes
widened. “He told you he loved you in front of Jack?”

He didn’t know Jack was
there when he was yelling it through the door.”

Declan threw her head back laughing. “I wish
I was here for that. What did Jack do? What did Casper do? Tell me
everything.”

I told Declan all the details of this
morning as we drove to the mall. Of course she had about a million
questions and gushed over and over again about Casper telling me he
loved me. For once, I didn’t mind. I was happy. I had my brother
home. I was no longer denying myself the one thing that could make
me feel good. My only fear now was the dinner tonight with Casper
and my brothers. Casper had text me several times complaining about
having to shower alone. I suggested if he really wanted a shower
buddy he had two roommates he could invite to join him. He stopped
asking.
