Dear Hotel reservations.

I will be arriving by aircage for the PAPER HAT CONVENTION in your city, Sep 22-Sep 30, 2009 I will need a room for those nights. A suite please as myself and my companion LAWRENCE GUM will be arriving together. Mr Gum has special needs. Can they be accommodated? Your hotel is highly recommended by paper hat workers at the San Rafael Plant.

I understand the Mandarin Oriental Hotel offers guests soup in their rooms. I would like that. Let’s get Lawrence Gum some soup. I have been in paper hats since 1981. There is exciting new developments in paper hats. Incl. air mesh and non stick bands. Plus complete paper uniforms. We are just working on the tearing now. I love this field and all the exciting challenges. Can you recommend any place in town for me to do anything?

To recap: I need room for 9 nights Sep 22–30 for myself and Mr. Gum. How can we proceed? Your Tapas Molecular Bar and use of syringes are recommended by Japan peoples.

Thank you,

Dear hotel Reservations

Thank you for your prompt answer to me. It is delightful to deal with such professionals as yourself. Now. Down to my reservations.

Mr. Gum needs
soup
in his room. Not
soap.
Although chicken noodle
soap
sounds dee–licious. Can you get in my room? (or minestrone soap if you are out of chicken noodle soap)

What room in the hotel is holding the Paper Hat Convention? If it’s not there let me know. I still need to stay at your hotel as it is close to my waffle cone business. I will wear paper 3 piece suit.

To recap: I need room for 9 nights Sep 22–30 for myself and Mr. Gum. A deluxe suite, please. How can we proceed? Your professionalism is most appreciated. I think we are ready to get confirmation. How?

Respectfully,

RE: Room Reservations

Dear Ms. Ted,

Thank you very much for your reply.

We apologize for the delay in replying as our Sales department is closed over the weekend.

After we checked with our Sales department, we do not have any functions for the Paper Hat Convention during that period.

We are sorry that we are not able to locate the function although I have tried to find.

Regarding the soup, I am really sorry that I misunderstood the word carelessly. We do not have a chicken noodle soup as a regular menu, however, we are delighted to prepare it if the order is made one week in advance.

The price for a chicken noodle soup is JPY1,500 plus 10% service charge and we can also prepare a minestrone soup as well at price of JPY1,200 plus 10% service charge.

Kindly advise us delivery time for the chicken noodle soup for Mr. Gum and if it is for daily arrangement.

For your room type, kindly advise us if we should go ahead and book a Mandarin Suite room at JPY89,000 which we offered previously.

Once your room type and bed type (king or twin) are confirmed and we received your credit card information to secure your booking, we will email your confirmation letter immediately.

Should you have any further questions or concerns, please feel free to contact us.

We look forward to hearing from you soon.

Warm regards,

Miwa Muto (Ms)
