Dustin’s stroking intensified as he, too, teetered to the edge of orgasm. His hips bucked upward and his body shuddered. He let out a deep, powerful groan, suppressed by Rick’s large cock, as the muscles in his dick rippled. Hot, white cum shot across his stomach, spurting several times before his body stopped convulsing.

“Fuck, baby...oh shit...” Rick continued muttering. Dustin wasn't sure if it was in appreciation of his ejaculation or if he didn’t even notice and just muttered over his own pleasure.

Dustin kept sucking and sucking, trying to move his mouth and head as much as he could to prevent the painful gagging jabs against his throat. Rick’s litany of swears and guttural syllables quickened and suddenly quieted.

Abruptly, Rick yanked his cock out of Dustin’s mouth and pumped his fist furiously along the length of his shaft. “Oh...fuck!” Rick shouted as semen dribbled, splattering down on Dustin’s cheek, rolling down and dripping to the floor.

Rick caught his breath and rubbed his now-flaccid penis across Dustin’s cheek, spreading cum over his face. Rick’s lips formed a self-satisfied grin.

Then, without a word, he walked out of the bedroom to the bathroom across the hall and wiped the semen off his penis with some toilet paper. Trying to appear more satisfied than he truly felt, Dustin got up and walked to the bathroom door, waiting for Rick to finish before entering and using toilet paper to wipe all the cum off his abdomen and chest. He then scrubbed Rick’s load off his face, washing it a few times with soap and water. When he returned to the bedroom, Rick had already dressed and moved to a different room.

Dustin quietly donned his clothes and stuck his hands in his pockets as he walked down the short hall to the living room. Rick sat in a chair fiddling with his phone, apparently oblivious to Dustin standing there.

Eventually, he looked up at Dustin and a smile spread across his lips. “That was hot, man.”

“Thanks.” Uncertain of what to say, Dustin wasn’t really sure what he thanked him for.

“We’ll have to do this again sometime.” Rick shoved his phone in his pocket and stood.

“For sure.” Dustin didn’t intend to follow through on the promise. He tied up his shoes and left.

As he stepped out onto the sidewalk, his mind returned to CollegeJock22. The experience didn’t feel like a hookup, a more powerful energy marked their encounter. With Rick, the one-sided sex left him feeling dirty, and not because he could feel a drying streak of cum. The dirtiness was on the inside, on a part he couldn’t wash. He rubbed his cheek vigorously to get rid of the cum.

An interesting weekend—his hottest hookup paired with one of his lousiest ones—but Dustin felt an urge to set sex aside again. Anonymous hookups had their place, but they couldn’t fill his whole life. More important things occupied his time and mind, like his history paper and his upcoming linear algebra test.

Dustin once walked in on Jason and Angela in full fuck, seeing a complete view of things he wished he could forget. So, every time since then he’d listened at the door for voices before he entered. Seeing it all once scarred him enough, he didn’t need a repeat.

With his hand rested on the doorknob, he heard voices, both male and female, though they didn’t sound urgent and passionate, so he couldn’t be sure if his roommate was getting busy or not. When he heard a second female voice, he knew he could enter. Angela would never go for a threesome.

As he swung the door open, all talking stopped and three pairs of eyes watched him—Jason, Angela, and an attractive woman Dustin didn’t know. With shoulder-length brown hair and big eyes she appeared to be about the same age as him.

“Sorry to interrupt.” Dustin moved to his desk. He gathered his papers so he could quickly vacate and give Jason and his friends some privacy.

“No problem, buddy,” Jason said. “In fact, we were hoping you’d drop by.”

Dustin arched an eyebrow, not sure he wanted to know where this headed. “Oh yeah?” He kept his focus on his papers, so as to not betray his suspicions.

“We’d like you to meet Stefenie, one of Angela’s friends.”

Dustin’s eyes closed for a second in exasperation before he put on his best smile and turned. He shook Stefenie’s hand. “Nice to meet you.” A brief glance at Angela showed she sent him an apologetic look.

“Jason’s been telling me a lot about you.” Stefenie straightened the hem of her too-short skirt. Her gaze roamed him up and down, seemingly admiring the slight muscle he’d built up.

“Good stuff, I hope.”

“You know it, buddy. So, Angela, Stef, and I were going to head out for tacos. We think you should join us.” Jason shot Dustin an eager look, no doubt sure he’d found the right woman for Dustin or, if not, at least someone who could get him laid. Dustin would rather not go with either outcome.

“I don’t know.” Dustin scratched the back of his neck. “I’ve really fallen behind in my courses. I have a lot of homework to do.”

Jason’s eyes glinted. “You do way too much homework. You gotta live it up from time to time! Tell you what, it’ll just be a short dinner and then you can come back and do what you gotta do.”

Stefenie shot him a hopeful smile. Angela’s expression seemed to say “
just roll with it and it’ll be over soon.”

“All right,” Dustin said. “I think I can step away from books long enough for dinner.”

“Right on,” Jason said. Stefenie’s face brightened.

“Why don’t you two go ahead?” Angela asked. “Dustin and I will be along in a moment.”

No doubt assuming she would to prime him on how to best impress his date, Jason and Stefenie quickly left, heading to the dorm lobby.

“He means well, I know.” He shrugged before Angela could say the words again.

“I’ll help you through dinner.” She squeezed his arm, offering understanding with her touch. “I’ll make sure it doesn’t get too awkward and I’ll try to stop Jason from giving you two alone time or something.”

He smiled. “Thanks.”

“Try to come across as boring. Be polite and courteous. You’re on a date, but, of course, don’t try to impress her. If you can work it so she has a good time, but doesn’t feel attracted to you, then there’s no hurt feelings anywhere.”

“I’ll try.”

“Best of all, if you get through this date, Jason will probably leave you alone about this stuff for a while.”

He smiled, not quite buying into her hopefulness.

She cocked her head as she looked at him. “Something’s different about you.” He shook his head, but she added, “I noticed it yesterday, but couldn’t quite put my finger on it. I still can’t. I just...sense something.”

He knew exactly what she picked up on—the fusion of CollegeJock22’s energy with his—but he couldn’t tell her. Aside from his discomfort of talking to her about the anonymous world of gay sex, she would interpret yesterday’s heat as a precursor for love.

That was a whole ball of wax he didn’t want to get into. She would push him to pursue it, he’d fight to remain in the closet...and besides, gay relationships never lasted, so why should he expend energy on something destined to fizzle out before it even started? No, the closet was the place for him. Closets could be dark places, but they could also be warm and cozy.

“Just having a good weekend, I guess.” Dustin zipped up his jacket. “Shall we go?”

As they walked out, he remembered he hadn’t quite washed off the dried cum on his cheek. He rubbed it vigorously, hoping he managed to remove any last spots. He felt dirty and obvious, but hoped it was just his guilty imagination.

The Mexican restaurant, a short drive from the dorm in Jason’s beater of a car, served good tacos, but the festive atmosphere and food dampened by Jason’s many attempts at selling Dustin’s good side to Stefenie, and vice versa. Toward the end of dinner, Dustin’s phone vibrated with a text. Welcoming a reprieve from the pressures piling upon him, Dustin excused himself to the washroom. He locked himself in a stall and flicked his phone on.

A text from Kyle glowed on his screen.
Just realized I told you how to find me, but you didn’t tell me how to find you.

Dustin remembered the promise of a red shirt.
I’ll wear my purple sweater. Hard to miss that color.

Sounds good. Studying hard in preparation for tomorrow?

No,
Dustin texted.
Trapped at dinner. Roommate is trying to set me up with someone.

Hahaha! Sounds awkward! Have fun! See you tomorrow!

As the meal came to an end, Jason drove them back to the dorm building. Dustin felt he’d accomplished the mission Angela set out for him. He’d acted the gentleman, but a total bore and as far as he could tell, Stefenie never felt any sort of spark or connection between them.

Jason drove them back to the dorm parking lot and they gathered next to the car.

“It was nice meeting you, Stefenie.” He held out his hand.

“You, too.” She shook his hand, her grip rather loose.

“Did you two exchange numbers yet?” Jason interrupted.

Angela gave him a small elbow jab to the ribs. “Let’s go for a walk.”

Jason looked down at her, a quizzical look to his eyes. Then, as he thought he caught on to her meaning, he nodded. “A walk would be nice. See you back at the dorm, Dustin. Goodnight, Stefenie.” He shot Dustin a wink before they turned and left.

Dustin silently thanked Angela. He knew she wanted them to leave so Dustin could continue to be boring, without Jason’s hopeful prodding.

“So, cell numbers?” Stefenie asked.

Apparently, Jason already did enough damage. Stefenie was a very nice woman and very attractive, but any pursuit of dating or a relationship would only end in disappointment—and Dustin would feel bad for being the source of it all.

Being polite, Dustin agreed and they quickly swapped numbers. They wished each other goodnight again and Dustin breathed a silent sigh of relief as he wandered back to his dorm alone.

Monday

Dustin walked into the main cafeteria at precisely 1:00 p.m., math books under his arm. Dry morning lectures left facts swimming through his head, but he was prepared and eager to work with this tutor and hammer out the hows and whys of linear algebra.

Mostly empty, as the main lunch rush of the cafeteria filtered out and headed to afternoon lectures, he entered from the back door, so he could assess his tutor as he approached.

An extremely overweight man in a red shirt sat near the main entrance with a textbook splayed open in front of him. He looked dirty and unshaved, spots of sweat dotted the armpits on his shirt and around the curves and folds of his flabby chest. His oily forehead and chin shone in the light, dotted with acne.

Not an entirely superficial person, Dustin did acknowledge his superficialities when it came to online hookups, but he hoped his tutor would have provided him with a decent amount of eye candy. What mattered most, he reminded himself, was Kyle’s knowledge of the subject material and his ability to teach it, but it would certainly be an added bonus if all the knowledge came from the lips of a stud or twink.

Dustin chastised himself for getting caught up in irrelevancies. The only important thing was that this man helped him get through the course. Despite this, he still suppressed a grimace as he approached Kyle, forcing his expression into something more pleasant as he slipped into the empty chair opposite him.

Kyle looked up, rather startled. “Hello.” His voice rumbled deep and low. God, he stunk. The spicy bite of body odor cloaked him.

“Hi.” Dustin forced back another grimace. He set his books on the table.

Kyle’s eyebrow arched in apparent confusion. He tilted his head, skin gleaming in the fluorescent lighting. “Can I, um, help you?”

Dustin furrowed his brow. “Aren’t you Kyle?”

“No.”

Dustin’s face flushed. “Sorry. I’m sorry. I’m supposed to meet a tutor and he said he’d wear red.”

The man looked down at his shirt and chuckled. “No problem.”

Dustin quickly picked up his books and stood again. He scanned the room, but couldn’t see any other red shirts. He chose a different table, surrounded by empty ones, and sat down.

He could suddenly breathe again.

As he enjoyed his newfound oxygen, his phone vibrated with a text from Kyle.

Sorry, running late! Be there in five!

No prob!
He chose not to mention almost making a new friend.

Dustin opened his notebook, flipping to a fresh page, and set his textbook on top. He skimmed through the text, constructing a mental list of the topics he knew and those he didn’t.

“Dustin?” a voice said from behind him.

“Yeah,” he replied, turning in his seat. His voice caught and his crotch immediately hardened. CollegeJock22 stood there, wearing a red shirt.

“Kyle?”

The man’s cheeks flushed a deep crimson, almost matching the hue of his shirt. Dustin felt something stir deep within, but in a far deeper place than the stirrings of his cock, which already ached. Neither man spoke, unable to break from the locked gaze.

“Uh, sit down.” Dustin waved his hand toward the three other chairs around the table.

Kyle’s gaze moved to the chairs and back to Dustin, assessing something. Dustin searched deep in those gray-blue eyes and picked up on his indecisiveness, of his battle between the urge to run and the desire to stay.

“Sit,” Dustin said, more firmly.

Kyle finally moved, dumping his bag on the floor and choosing the seat closest to Dustin. He sat rigidly, not seeking comfort in his chair.

“Listen,” Kyle said. “About Saturday...”

Dustin held up his hand and took a quick glance around. “You’re new to hookups, aren’t you?”

Kyle chewed his lower lip then nodded once.

“There’s an unofficial Hookup Code, which helps in situations like this. When you meet someone in real life after having fun, you either pretend you don’t know each other or you act like best friends—but in either scenario, the Hookup Code demands the confidentiality of the hookup.”
