This plan will help boost your immunity.
EAT/DRINK
Lots of liquids (not alcohol). But make sure they are not ice cold or they will make your throat worse.
Herbal teas, veggie juices, warm broths, and blended soups.
Pineapple juice.
AVOID
Dairy products and sugars. They are potentially mucus-producing and won’t help.
Gargle with warm salt water. Make it sea salt, though. For extra relief, you can also add a few drops of tea tree oil and thyme.
Gargle with apple cider vinegar mixed with sea salt and warm water.
HERBS AND SUPPLEMENTS
Drink sage tea. Sage is known to soothe a sore throat.
Get a high-powered beneficial bacteria from the health-food store.
