107. Raspberry Crush

This smoothie has a lot of texture. Lots of seeds to give it a little mouth feel rather than having it completely smooth. You’ll find the difference quite invigorating. Regardless of your blender quality I still recommend blending the sesame seeds first to get them ground down more finely.

First blend

  • ¼ cup sesame seeds
  • 1 cup water

Then add

  • 1.5 cups raspberries (frozen)
  • ½ avocado
  • 2 dried figs (chopped)
  • ¼ cup coconut (shredded)
  • 1 tbsp flaxseeds
  • 2 cups mild greens (your choice)
  • Either ¼ cup cacao nibs (my preference) OR add cacao powder to taste

Ice as desired

Recommendation

  • You could use 2 tablespoons of carob powder to replace the cacao.
  • Add in some chia seeds or chia gel.

Add ice and blend

  • 1 orange
  • ½ cup broccoli florets
  • 2 cups watercress
