Sophie reloads her gun and rushes next
to Kato. “Are you ok?” Sophie ask with concern.

Sophie and Mandisa move the dead body
off of Kato and Sandra help her up. “I’ll be fine.” Kato said
brushing herself off. “I’ll, just be more careful next time.” She
told everyone without looking at anyone in the face.

Sophie gets next to the door that Kato
opens, found three sons. “Get ready everyone, I see three more.”
Katrina goes inside. “KATRINA!” Sophie shouts with shock. Kato and
Sandra get ready to go into another door. “We will go around them!”
Sandra told Sophie.

One son tries to leave, Kato fire but
miss, Katrina hit same target with pistol. That Son fire at Katrina
but miss. Katrina killed the same Son with her sniper rifle. Both
Sandra and Kato rush inside there door. Sophie comes inside with
Katrina. “You are a crazy bitch Katrina.” Sophie told Katrina when
she enters the room.

Sandra bust open another door, found
three swords, two came running after her, she fire at one but miss.
Then she fires at another one, it flees but she still hits him. “I
am wrong, I hate these fuckers more.” Sandra told herself. Sophie
moves around, shot at one sword but light damage. Katrina also
moves around, shot at same target with pistol, light damage.
Mandisa runs into the room that Sandra was in, shot at the sword
that is next to her but miss. Kato moves closer shot at same sword,
hit no kill. The sword that Katrina and Sophie shot at move at
Sandra. “Oh you fuck.” The sword guy swung at Sandra but Sandra
block the blow with her arm. Before Sandra could really see what is
going on around her. The sword that Kato and Mandisa shot at also
tried to kill Sandra but she block that blow as well. the one that
Sandra shot at but ran away ran towards Kato.Sandra who was being
attack by two mad men with swords was able to break away and run
for cover. “How are you doing Sandra?” Mandisa ask.

“
Bleeding out my ass!”
Sandra told her in pain.

Mandisa rapid fire on the sword that
was near Kato and kill it. Kato shot at same target again, does not
kill it. Katrina was able to kill the target with sniper rifle.
Juan rapid fire on the last sword, kills it.As Sandra reloads she
was out of breath. Mandisa runs near Sandra to reload her gun and
to check on her. “How are your arms still connected to you after
blows like that?” Mandisa ask in a concern voice.

Sandra just gave a little smirk. “I
drink milk.”

Mandisa also smile while bullets flew
by over her. Mandisa quickly turn around and kill the Son that was
trying to kill her. Kato runs into a room, found three sons in the
same room. Kato fire and was able to kill one of them.

Kato got shot at by one, hit, light
damage, Sophie gets shot at but miss. Sandra kill another son.
Sophie kill the son that shot at her. Katrina was able to kill the
son that shot at her. Kato falls back, to weak to go on. “I’m sorry
everyone.” Kato told them out of breath. “I am in to much pain to
go on.” She told them as she sat on the ground next to some
wall.

Sandra, with her bleeding arms touch
her shoulder. “You did more than enough. I am sure your unborn
child is proud of you.”

Sandra try to go on but fell on the
ground in pain. Mandisa pick her up and lay her next to Kato. “You
are also to weak to go on. You survive two attacks from two swords,
you need your rest before you bleed out.”

Sandra could not speak and just gave a
nod of agreement at Kato before passing out. When that was done,
Juan was waiting at the end of aircraft, ready to open the last
door. “Are we all ready for this? make sure your guns are loaded,
it’s going to be loud.” Juan opens the door and found two elite
sons. Juan fire at one but miss.

Mandisa rushes inside and kill one
elite son. Katrina miss the last elite. Mandisa hit it but not kill
it. Sophie runs inside, kill the last elite. “That should do it.”
Sophie said with a sigh.

Over at B.A.S.E Sandra and Kato are
rush to Sic-Mad. Sandra is going to be stuck there for six days
while Kato will be there for eight. In the process of being in
there Sandra becomes a Major. Juan became a Captain and Kato was a
lieutenant.

It was a few days before Kato woke up,
upon which she found Gary next to her. “Gary?” Kato ask as he was
still just a blurr.

“
I told you not to push
yourself too hard.” Gary told her with a warm smile and gently push
the hair away from her face. “Mandisa told me the story. That brute
really got a number on you.” Kato only chuckle at garys words. When
she look over she foun Commander looking at her as he stood right
inside the doorway. “One more thing.” Gary told her. “The nurse
found out and told Commander.

Mission 22 Family

“
Roman Gary and Sakuro Kato.
The two of you are expecting a child and not only did you not told
me, Kato went into battle risking the new childs life in the
process.” Commander told the two of them in his office. “Discipline
is in order. If this were to happen then the upcoming mother is
suppose to leave admitaly. However, if the mother wants to stay in
the program then she needs to give up the child and go through
abortion. The choice is yours. I expect an answer from the two of
you within a week, now go. Also Gary, you are not going to go on
the mission today, the two of you are on leave until you come up
with what the two of you are going to do.”

Over at the hangar Marie, Jay, Adam,
James, and Maxim was all waiting for Gary to show up for the
mission. “Where is he?” Maire said with a sigh as she was getting
tire of waiting.

“
Probably getting some
morning glory with his girlfriend Kato.” Maxim told her.

“
What is wrong with you?”
Maire ask. “You just hate everyone and think that you are better
than everyone else.”

“
Thats because I am better
than everyone else.”

“
Then why don’t you show us
and do this entire mission by yourself then.” Maire told him
gesturing inside the aircraft.

Maxim just gave her a slight smirk as
he notices Chang coming from the distance. “Chang! what are you
doing here?”

“
Sorry I am late.” Chang
told everybody. “I just got a message from Commander that I am
going to replace Gary on this mission.”

“
What happen to Gary?” Jay
ask.

“
Don’t know, did not ask.
Commander just told me to grab my gear and hurry up.

“
Thanks for coming along
with us.” Adam told Chang as he gave him a shake. “Now that we are
all here, lets get going.”

Back over at B.A.S.E Kato and Gary was
talking with Katrina, Sandra and Mandisa about what Commander told
them. Both Sandra and Mandisa was speechless about the whole thing.
Sandra broke the silence in the room. “As I mention before, you
can’t go out there being pregnant, you will be a floating blimp. I
don’t know what it is like to be in Commanders shoes, however I
can’t blame him for his choices.”

“
Kato can’t just leave
Sandra.” Mandisa step in. “As we talk about before, we sign up for
this, leaving our entire life behind. if she leaves, how is she
going to support her child? Only soldiers who stay here through the
end of the war get to have a nice paygrade. However we don’t know
how much longer that will be. To be honest, I don’t see the end
coming any too soon.” Mandisa said with a sigh.

“
In the end the it all falls
down on Kato, she can either keep the child but she has to leave
and Gary will never see her again unless he leaves as well. Or she
could just have an abortion. I don’t like either options but you
only have a week to make them Kato, better think hard about this.
You took many lives before, but can you take the life of someone
who has the same DNA as you?”

Back on the battlefield Marie found
heavies, she they fire at her but they miss. Marie fire at one with
pistol, hit. Adam rushes over, fire at same target, hit not kill.
“You ok?” Adam ask.

“
Yeah.” Maire said
back.

One heavy moves Maxim fire but miss.
One heavy shot at Chang, Change barely survive the hit. “I am not
going to die like this!” Chang told himself as he picks up a rocket
and killed the heavy that shot at him. Marie killed her
target

James rushes over to Chang and stops
the bleeding. “How you doing Chang?”

“
Better now that the heavy
that shot at me is into bite size chunks.”

James let out a small chuckle. “Remind
me not to piss you off.” James finish his treatment on Chang. “That
should do it, next time watch yourself, you got no more rockets to
throw at the enemy if they make you mad again.”

“
Don’t worry doc, I still
got a grenade.” Chang said with a smile.

Adam moves forward, found three more
heavies. Adam fire at one, hit, light damage. Adam, got shot at
twice, hit once but miss the other time. Jay fire a rocket, killing
a heavy and almost killing another one. Adam killed the wounded
one. Marie shot at the other heavy, miss. The heavy that Marie miss
ran into the open, got killed by Adam. “Thats what you get for
thinking your armor is bullet proof.” Adam told the dead heavy.
Maire let out a small chuckle.

Chang moves forward, found two more
heavys. “James, remember when I told you that I still had a
grenade?” Chang toss a grenade at one, does not kill it so change
kills it with a his light machine gun.

“
James let out a small
chuckle. “I am so glad I am not a therapist for this X
project.”

The other heavy ran out into the open,
shot at Marie but miss. Mare runs to cover, shot at it with a
pistol. James moves forward, shot at the heavy. Adam moves forward,
shot at the heavy, but miss. Jay ends up killing the heavy. “Are we
done now?” Jay said with a sigh.

Adam moves forward, found two heavies
and a brute. “Nope, we still got a few more of these big guys!”
Adam fire at the heavy, almost kills it. Jay moves forward, kills
the heavy that Adam hit.

The brute rush inside the room,
everyone shot at it. Another heavy came from the side. Maxim look
around to notice that the heavy was pointing at him. Maxim quench
when he got shot at. He fell on the ground barely alive. Maxim
falls back to cover, shoots at the brute. The brute gets mad and
rushes at him. “Oh fuck me.” Maxim said in pain. Adams does same
thing. He fire at the brute, the brute turns around and starts
chasing at Adam. Jay des same thing. He fire at the Brute. The
Brute gets mad, and charges at Jay. James fire at the brute, and
the brute gets mad and chases after James. “Will you just fucking
die.” Maxim told himself as he line up his sights again and kills
the brute.

Mare killed the last heavy then rush
over to Maxim to see if he was all right. “Max, how you holding
up?”

Maxim let out a quirky smile. “You
know, you would have been dead James if I did not kill that brute
for you, you should thank me, give me a medal, a parade in my
honor. Maxim told James as he was slowly slipping
unconscious.

James just smile and gave Maxim a pat
on his back. “Good job out there Max. Let’s hurry up and get him to
the aircraft. I can stabilize him once we get airborne.” James told
everybody as they all pick up Maxim and brought him over to the
aircraft.

Over at B.A.S.E Maxim was sent over to
Sic-Mad for five days, he was also promoted to a corporal as well.
Chang was sent into Sic-Mad for six days. Jay and Marie also became
corporals as well. Maire was in Sic-Mad as she was sitting by Maxim
side when she look out the window to see a new soldier. “A new
soldier?”

Maxim look out to see the same person.
“Look at him, wearing those captains ribbons as if he earn them or
something.”

“
He probably did.” Marie
told him. Maxim just made a little grunt sound. “Why are you always
so negative? Can’t you be positive once in your life?”

“
Tried it, didn't like it.”
Maxim told her.

Maire just made a grunt sound of her
own and walk outside to greet the new soldier. “Hi there, my name
is Marie Leroy. Nice to meet you. Are you new around
here?”

“
Uh, yeah I am, thanks.” The
soldier said giving her a handshake. “My name is Etienne Martine,
but everyone just calls me Martine, but Tectonic is my nickname,
even though nobody calls me that. I have been told to report to the
Males Heavy Class Captin Section.”

“
Oh, you are right up there
with a few of our best.” Marie told her. “However I think you
should watch your back around the girls who are high rank.” Marie
whispers.

“
Why is that?” Martine
ask.

“
Nothing is wrong with them,
I think anyway. They like to hang out with only themselves, and
they get to go on all sorts of special missions thinking they have
power or something just because they are higher rank than the rest
of us. Katrina for example is the best sniper there is, but she
does not bother to teach anyone how to use the sniper rifle.” Marie
complains.

“
Sounds like there is a lot
of drama at this place.”

“
Has to be, if there was no
drama then this place will just be boring.”

At the end of the day, Commander was in
his room, looking out his window looking down at the rest of the
B.A.S.E when there was a knock on his door. “Come in.” He told
whoever it was that was on the other side of the door. The door
open and Commander turn around to see Kato. “Ah Kato, You are a bit
early then I would have expected.”
