Love Me ~ Like That (31 page)

“Yes, Cash, yes, I will marry you.”

I take the ring out of my pocket and slip it on her finger. “I want a forever like that with you too.” I bend down to scoop her up in my arms and carry her up the stairs.

“What about the candles, Cash? I don’t want to be in the middle of something and have the barn catch on fire.”

“They’re battery operated, Bailey. How did you not notice that?” I laugh.

“I was only paying attention to you.”

She gives me a heart-stopping kiss.

Cash carries me up the stairs. He has really out done himself. He even has a bed set up in the loft. I guess he wanted it to look like a real room as much as possible. This man knows no limits, and he has gone far beyond anything I could ever ask for.

He sets me down gently on the bed, and slowly removes my clothes. The music very softly drifts upstairs, and a soft glow bounces off the window. He has more flowers, the bed has the softest linens, and I notice he added a little curtain to the top of the window. The scent of lavender is in the air and I feel the faintest of breezes.

He reaches for the button on his shirt, and I say, “Let me, please.”

He drops his hands, and I replace them with my own. I slowly peel off his attire, piece by piece. I bend down to get his socks and take my time licking my way back up—the start of his reward for all of his hard work. I get to his inner thigh crease and I spend a little extra time in that area. He offers no complaints. I’m not sure why he tastes better than anyone I’ve ever been with. Maybe because he eats well and takes care of his body. I don’t mind giving him pleasure. In fact, I enjoy it, and I know with Cash I will receive my own in tenfold. He is much more giving than taking. “Lay on the bed, handsome. I want to devour my fiancée.”

He pulls me into his body. “I love to hear you say that.” He says in a growl.

“I want to devour you, or lay on the bed?”

“The fiancée part, but don’t make me wait long, Bailey, please.” He lays down, pulling me with him. “I can’t wait for us to start our lives together.”

“Why don’t we finish celebrating tonight, and talk about that later. Right now, I want to show you how grateful I am to have you in my life.”

“I can live with that.”

“I thought you might find that agreeable. Now, you just lay there and relax.” I take my time kissing and licking him everywhere. Teasing him, sending him into a frenzy. Then I make him sit up on the side of the bed and put his feet on the floor.

“Sit up?”

He looks confused and disappointed.

“Yes, Cash, sit up.”

“Okay, if you say so.”

I climb on his lap and slide down on his dick. “Now lean back a little bit and hold onto my hands. I’m going to lean back too.” We made a V with our bodies, and I grind on him. Damn, it isn’t easy to move in this position. He helps me by putting his hands on my back and actually bouncing me a little. This angle makes his penetration much deeper. He feels so good inside of me. He moves faster and is hitting my G-spot with every thrust. This is supposed to be more for him than me, but he is always a thoughtful lover. He sits upright and puts his arms around me, almost cradling me. This changes the angle of penetration and wakes up more desires. I moan softly and bring myself up to a sitting position. There isn’t any vacant space inside me; he has taken up every inch. He is moving me even faster now, and I feel the tingling in my belly. I know it won’t be long and I’ll show him how much he pleases me. The tingles run down to my core and the throbbing sensation takes over.

“Let go, baby. Give me those sweet juices.”

I throw my head back and I can’t control my moans anymore. They are getting louder. “Ahh! Baby! Oh, uhh, Cash! You’re so…” I tighten around him and then I explode. My legs are trembling, and Cash is kissing me tenderly.

“I’m so what, Sweet Cheeks?” He picks me up then turns us, and gently lays me on the bed. He pulls me to the edge. Lifting my hips up, he lines up with my entrance and slides into me again. I wrap my legs around him. I lift my hips meeting him thrust for thrust.

“Holy fuck, Cash. More, faster.”

He moves one of his hands to my center and strokes me which quickly starts another fire. A small sheen of sweat breaks out on his brow. He is gearing up for his own release. I pulse once more, and I feel him doing the same. He pushes me over the edge and I climax again. He releases his own. He collapses onto the bed, and I move up by him. I cuddle up to his side and lay my head on his chest. I give him a peck on the cheek as we catch our breath.

Three Months Later

We finally get confirmation that the investigation on Bailey for elderly abuse has been closed. They found her in no fault. She was relieved even though she knew she didn’t do anything wrong.

Bailey and Lizzie have been busy planning our wedding. I told her I would pay for everything because I know her parents don’t have a lot of money, and I want her to have the wedding she has always dreamed about. She wants to keep the ceremony small and intimate and wants to have it in the damn barn. I apparently made her think I could work magic in a short amount of time.

I’ve been busting my ass to get this barn up to par because she didn’t want me to tear it down and start over. No, it has to be this barn that really looks like shit in the bright sunlight, but she loves it. I’ve had a bathroom installed and added more fans for circulation. I made a bar area, and added a couple more windows for natural lighting. She said this can be my man cave afterward, so I better make it the way I like.

Even though I have offered to pay for everything, Bailey insists on having her cousins help her make decorations and some of the food for the reception. She said since only family and close friends would be attending, she didn’t need anything fancy. She has been to several weddings, and the more simple ones were the ones that touched her the most. I put her on my checking account the week after our engagement, and I told her to take as much as she needed.

We cleaned out a bedroom that was being used for storage over at the Jacksons then delivered to people things Granny wanted them to have. Mom has been bringing things over slowly and spending even more time with the Jacksons to give Papa time to adjust.

Clay has a charity event planned for his equine therapy ranch next weekend. We have volunteered to help him, and Bailey talked Lizzie into helping too. She loves horses so it didn’t take a lot of convincing. He has worked hard to get this place up and running.

Clay is smarter than I gave him credit for. Not only can he sing and play a guitar, but also he has a brain and he looks a lot like me. I want to help Lizzie see what a great guy he is, but Bailey said Lizzie can’t be pushed. You have to put things in front of her face and hope she opens her eyes. That’s next on my horizon. Help Lizzie!

I’ve been in my office all day going through the financial records, trying to get them in shape to go to the accountant. Dawn is helping me, but really she has enough on her plate as it is. Invoices aren’t my forte. I need to be looking for that bookkeeper, but I want to get a good system in place before I hire one.

Dawn buzzes my office to let me know Bailey is on the phone for me.

“Hey, Sweet Cheeks, how’s your day?” I answer the phone.

“Great, I’ve gotten so much done.” She rattles off a list of accomplishments.

They all sound the same after a while. If I offer a “mmmhmm” every once in a while, she’s happy. “Good, I’m glad you were able to get all of that done.” I say when I hear a lull in the conversation.

She laughs, “Is all of this that boring to you? I bet you don’t even realize what you agreed to.”

“I’m sorry, I’ll listen now.”

“What are you doing?”

“I’m trying to get our financial books in order before we hire someone to do this full time.” I sigh and lean back in my chair. My desk looks like something exploded. “Sweet Cheeks, it looks like I’ll be late tonight, and probably the rest of week. I can’t believe I’ve let this get in this much of a mess.”

“Why haven’t you told me this before now, Cash? You do know I’m only a couple of semesters away from having my degree in accounting? I can help you with this, or better yet, I will come to work with you and do it for you.”

She sounds excited. How can she be excited over this kind of shit?

“Bailey, that would be great, but I don’t want you to have to do that. It will take me several days, but I will get it done.”

“I’m on my way. I’ll see you in half an hour. Then, I will come to work with you tomorrow and finish it up.”

She hangs up. She didn’t tell me bye or she loved me!

She can’t see my desk like this. I need to tidy up quickly. “Dawn!” I don’t even act all professional and use the intercom. “Dawn, I need you. Hurry!”

She runs into my office. “What’s wrong? What happened?”

“Bailey is on her way to help with the books, and she can’t see my office like this.” I wave my hand at the mounds of clutter.

She laughs, “Is that all? I thought something was really wrong. Don’t you think she’ll figure out you’re horrible at this when she comes and digs into everything?” She shakes her head, “Come on, I’ll help make it look neater at least.”

“Thanks, Dawn, I appreciate the help.” We work in the office until Bailey walks through the door, then Dawn excuses herself to get back to her own work.

“So where do you want me?” Bailey asks me as she gives me a hug.

“I want you beneath me, I even need you there.” I whisper in her ear.

She reaches up to kiss me and then playfully slaps my arm. “Behave! Where would you like for me to work on your books?” She looks over at my desk. Her eyes get big, “Cash, how long have you let this go? Why haven’t you told me before?”

I shrug and try to look pitiful in hopes she will take mercy on me.

She tells me what she will need, and I get her all set up in the spare office. She gets busy in her accountant mode, all serious. She waves me off, and tells me to leave her alone.
