As he walked up the stairs and approached
Roxi’s apartment, he could hear her sobbing behind the door. That’s
probably what alerted Jake and Kristy when they arrived home from
their honeymoon. Pushing the door open, he saw the newlyweds
sitting on the couch looking lost. He nodded toward them, but went
immediately to Roxi.

He stood over her and placed his hand on her
head. She calmed slightly, but not enough. Kneeling in front of her
he caressed her shoulders. “Shhhh, Angel. I’m here now. Relax.
You’ll get what you need after I speak to Jake.” Her sobbing slowed
to quiet hiccups. “Good girl. I’m proud of you Angel. You did well.
Not much longer now I promise.” He reached down out of sight, and
pinched her nipple real hard. She gasped, and a small smile started
on her lips. “Soon,” he whispered the promise to her. “Stay here.”
With that he could see her breathing settle down. He kissed the top
of her head and rose.

The look on Jake and Kristy’s faces was
priceless, mouths hanging open with wide eyes. “Hey guys, it’s good
to have you back. A lot has happened and we took a group poll and
decided to explain it all when you got back home.” He sat on the
arm of a chair next to where they were seated. “No one wanted to
bother you on your honeymoon. Speaking of which, I hope you guys
had fun and enjoyed yourselves.”

“How did you calm Roxi? We tried
everything,” Kristy asked, eyebrows up and hands held out.

“I know my sub.” He shrugged a shoulder.

“Your sub?” Jake asked cautiously.

“You know we don’t ever talk about our
clients, but because you found your sister this way I’ll explain.”
He looked over at Roxi and saw her tense. “It’s okay, Angel.”

“Client? Angel?” Kristy repeated.

“Yes, Cutie, her pet name is Angel.” When he
addressed her by Cutie, his pet name for her, Kristy’s head
lowered.

“Good girl. Now Kristy you can stay for part
of what I have to say. After, though, I request that you kneel with
Roxi so I can talk Dom to Dom with Jake, and I can’t do that with
you sitting here as an equal. But only if that’s acceptable to
him.” They both looked at Jake.

Jake’s hands were balled into fists,
knuckles turning white. “Yes, I approve until I know what the hell
is going on here. I want to know why my sister is such a mess, damn
it!” His face reddened and his forehead creased.

“Don’t blow, man. It’s cool.” Jonathan tried
to assure him. “First things first. On the flight back, my seat got
reassigned, but not before I put Roxi’s carry-on in the overhead
compartment. We got separated after the flight and she tried to get
her bag down on her own. It fell on top of her, giving her a good
blow to the head, and bruised her face pretty badly. Her eye
actually swelled shut, and in the hospital—”

“Hospital? It was that bad? Why the
fuck
didn’t you call me?” Jake visibly struggled to keep it
together as he fisted his palms tightly. Jonathan was growing
irritated at his friend, but took a deep cleansing breath, and
tried to help Jake understand that things were under control.

“She had a mild concussion, and the medical
team at the airport looked her over and sent her to be evaluated at
the hospital. Like I said, her eye swelled shut, her cheek is
bruised, the knot on her head is gone now, it’s still slightly
tender, but she hasn’t puked in a couple of days and her headaches
have subsided. They do however start up again when she does too
much. I’ve been with her non-stop until this evening, but that’s
her fault, and why she’s being punished.” The three of them looked
over at Roxi on the floor.

Jake’s head snapped back to face Jonathan.
“Oh, so it’s her fault that you were sticking your dick in someone
else tonight?”

He balked, and Roxi gasped loudly. Jonathan
shook his head and pinched the bridge of his nose. He really hadn’t
wanted Roxi to know he’d had sex with Linda. Not that they were a
couple or anything, but for some odd reason he just didn’t want her
to know. He dropped his hand to his side and addressed Jake.
“Whatever. Just know I took off all week and have been living here.
She’s been well cared for. You can ask her yourself tomorrow.” He
looked toward Roxi, and then back again. “I didn’t call because the
hospital said she was fine. They released her the same day. Dan and
Sherry also agreed that I should let you guys have your fun and not
ruin your honeymoon. We all knew you’d jump on the next plane if we
called you. Now are we clear on Roxi’s heath?”

“For now,” Jake answered.

Jonathan looked at Jake and then at Kristy.
He raised his eyebrows and nodded toward the door.

“Oh!” She stood and went to kneel on the
floor next to Roxi.

“Thank you. You’re both such good girls.
I’ll be quick. I know you can hear us. Nothing’s a secret.”

He turned his attention to Jake. “Roxi and I
don’t work as a couple, but we’ve done well in the past with a D/s
relationship, and so she’s made a request.” He paused. “It wasn’t
my idea; she approached me and asked me to be her Dom temporarily.
The ‘why’ isn’t important, but just know that there is good
reasoning behind it. I know she’s your sister, but what happens in
the playroom stays in the playroom. That’s the way it’s always been
with us, and how it remains. As to why she’s upset, she did
something she shouldn’t have, and I punished her.”

“And what was that? There’s
nothing
that would justify making her this upset, Jonathan.” Jake’s voice
bellowed. “
Never
in my life have I seen her cry.”

“Never?” Jonathan was astonished.

Jake shook his head. “Never. That’s why this
is hard on me, it’s practically killing me. I wanted to pick her up
and hold her, but I knew she was kneeling for someone, and I
figured it had to be you. I didn’t want to overstep another Dom,
but damn.”

“Wow, never, huh? She’s cried around me
since we were kids. She actually cries a lot. I used to tease her
all the time and call her a crybaby. Still do, sometimes. I
probably will tonight.” He chuckled.

“That’s news to me. Roxi has always been the
smart ass, smart mouth bitch of the family and hard as nails with
her emotions.” Jake looked lovingly at his sister and his new wife
kneeling so beautifully by the door.

“Well, now you know. The secret is out.”
Jonathan threw his hands in the air.

“Can you tell me what she did, and are you
done with her punishment?”

Jonathan paused, looked over at his sub, and
shrugged. “She took my phone while I showered and called Linda, a
flight attendant I met on the flight coming home from Vegas. She
had her show up here at the apartment unannounced earlier this
evening, and then told me I needed to go out and have fun after
caring for her this week. I had no desire to see the woman, let
alone go out with her tonight, but Roxi overstepped as my sub.
Linda didn’t deserve to be turned away. So I went out with her. You
should see her.” Jonathan held up his hands in front of his chest
indicating she had large breasts. “Very nice, and pretty receptive
too. Not into the scene, but has potential.”

“I would say so if you had her in the club.
And Roxi most definitely overstepped her boundaries. She shouldn’t
have invaded your privacy. On that I agree.” He nodded.

“About the punishment, yes she has been
kneeling for hours. But I know she is healthy enough or I wouldn’t
have told her to do so. She knows she is allowed bathroom breaks
when I’m gone for a long time, so she was fine. We texted back and
forth so if she wasn’t fine she would have let me know, but there
is more punishment to come in the playroom if you’ll allow it.”
Jonathan tilted his heading waiting for Jake’s response.

Roxi started to sob again. “
Angel.
Relax
.” Jonathan warned then looked back at Jake. “Permission
needed sooner rather than later.” Jonathan nodded his head in
Roxi’s direction.

“I don’t know. Isn’t the kneeling enough?”
Jake looked unsure, and Jonathan had to convince him one way or
another.

“Jake, I don’t tell you what to do with your
sub. Don’t tell me what to do with mine. She’s starting to cry
again, not because she has been kneeling all this time, but because
she has wronged me and is upset with herself. She won’t be content
again until I discipline her. That might be TMI for you, but she
wants
this, and she
needs
this. That’s all I am going
to say about it.”

Jake stood and extended his hand. Jonathan
followed accepting it, and then he was beyond surprised when Jake
pulled him into a big bear hug. “Thank you for taking such good
care of my sister, and thank you for standing up for me at my
wedding. I love you like a brother. Always have and always
will.”

Jake pulled away and chuckled as Jonathan
stood there, dumbfounded by his best friend’s honesty and outpour
of emotion. That wasn’t like him at all. At least not until his new
wife got her hooks into his heart. He was a better man for it, and
since Jake had said it, Jonathan felt okay responding through his
choked emotions. “I feel the same way man, I love you too.”

“I’m going home to make love to my beautiful
wife. Playroom’s all yours. I trust you. See you tomorrow.” He
paused and looked toward Roxi. “May I say goodnight to my
sister?”

Jonathan nodded and motioned toward the
women on the floor. “Quickly.”

He watched as Jake knelt at her level and
kissed her on top of the head. “I love you, sis. We’ll talk
tomorrow.”

Chapter Eight

Roxi’s back and legs hurt and her knees were
sore from the hours of enduring her punishment on the hardwood
flooring, but halfway through, she realized it wasn’t enough. She
should never have done what she did by using his phone without
permission, and she definitely shouldn’t have invited Linda over.
It wasn’t her decision to make whether he went out for the evening
or not. Her heart ached for disappointing him. The one man she’d
loved all of her life. Regardless of whom she was with or where she
lived, Jonathan would always be a huge part of her, and she’d love
him until the day she died.

Her chest hurt so much with the pain that
she’d failed her Dom, it overwhelmed her. She needed him soon. She
hadn’t realized she was wailing away like she had been until Jake
and Kristy pounded on the door. They must have gone across the hall
to Jake’s apartment to get the spare key, because minutes later
they came barreling in the door.

Once inside, Kristy dropped to her knees and
tried to console her and it just made things worse. Jake probably
knew better because she was kneeling in submission. He stood back
while Kristy made every attempt to calm her. After a short while he
ordered his wife to come sit by his side. Roxi heard someone get up
and go to the bedroom at one point, and then heard Jake yelling,
but she couldn’t hear the conversation.

Kristy’s voice filled the room. “I’m not
sure what’s going on Roxi, but if anything’s wrong, please tell me.
I’ll take your silence to mean you’re all right though.” Jake was
most likely on the phone since Kristy remained on the couch. Roxi
made sure to stay still and not move an inch. “Last chance, if
there’s something wrong, tell me before Jake returns.” Again she
remained still.

What seemed like hours passed, and Jonathan
finally showed up. Her anxiety peaked at the thought that he might
blow past her and pay her no mind, but that worry was over nothing.
He stopped in front of her and calmed her just enough to try and
hold on until she got what she needed.

It took every ounce of strength to hold it
together, but she had to for
Him
. Her heart hurt, her knees
and back were in such pain almost to the point of numbness, and her
mind was racing all over the place. She wanted to scream until her
throat bled, but she needed to be still and quiet. Pain would wash
it all away so she could reset and start all over again fresh and
new, but the pain wasn’t coming quick enough. She started to
whimper again. She heard someone shushing her quietly, and realized
Kristy had joined her on the floor.

Roxi tried to concentrate on the
conversation around her, but it was difficult at best. She did hear
talk of using the playroom tonight and the hiccupping sobs started
up again in anticipation. Her body, riddled with apprehension, and
started to shut down. She could feel herself slipping away, until
she heard His voice. “
Angel. Relax
.” She came back a little
closer to the surface not quite disappearing. Not yet.

“Angel. It’s time.” Those were the most
magical words she’d ever heard, but she couldn’t move. “Angel,
stand.” The words were floating around her and she could hear them,
but as much as she wanted to, and as much as she needed to, she
just couldn’t obey. There was a disconnect, and her body wouldn’t
allow it.

“Angel?” Jonathan’s voice sounded strained.
His arms wrapped around her. “Shit!” He carried her off to
somewhere. His voice remained constant, telling her to stay with
him, and things would be okay. She thought she heard him talking to
someone else, but she heard no one respond in turn. Was he on his
phone? She couldn’t tell. He moved her again. Hearing doors open
and close she had no idea where they were.

Feeling started to return to her body. It
hummed with something. Something not too far off, it seemed
familiar. What could it have been? Thwack! Ah, yes! Pain! Life! It
was coming back to her, and her heart beat wildly. Thwack! Her Dom
was finally taking care of her. She smiled, and moaned. “More
please, Sir.”

“Angel? Are you all right?” Jonathan asked.
She nodded her head. “Talk to me. Use your safeword damn it!” She
chuckled mischievously, and shook her head. Thwack! “Damn you
woman!”
Thwack!

“Please, Angel. Use your safeword.”
Jonathan’s voice sounded tired, worn and upset, but she needed
more, so much more. “Please,” he sobbed. “Safeword, Roxi. Please?”
He begged. She shook her head and tried unsuccessfully to talk.
