  • 3 cans of kernel corn

  • 1 large red onion, diced

  • 3 red bell peppers, chopped
  • 3 large carrots, chopped
  • Jalapeño peppers, chopped and seeded (1 or 2)
  • Hot cherry peppers, chopped and seeded (2 or 3)
  • 4 cups of cream

 

How to make it?

First place cream corn and kernel corn into the slow cooker and put the cooker on low temperature. Stir it up.  In the meantime, melt the butter in a frying pan and cook the veggies while stirring. You will do this for 15 minutes or until the onions turn color to yellowish. Next pour the veggie mixture into the slow cooker and pour the cream on top of it. You will cook it on low for 3 hours, occasionally stirring through the cooking process.

What you need?

  • 1 butternut squash – peel it, remove seeds and cut it in cubes
  • One smaller eggplant, cubed
  • One smaller zucchini, cubed
  • 1 can of tomato sauce
  • 1 large onion, chopped
  • 1 tomato, ripe, chopped
  • 1 large carrot, thinly sliced
  • Half cup of vegetable broth
  • 3 cloves of chopped garlic
  • 1 teaspoon of cumin, ground
  • 1 teaspoon of turmeric, ground
  • 1 teaspoon of ground red pepper
  • 1 teaspoon oregano
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • ½ teaspoon cinnamon

 

How to make it?

Everything you need to do is to put all the ingredients you have in a slow cooker and spice the ingredients up with herbs and spices on the list. Cover the cooker and cook for 10 hours on low temperature.

  • 1 can of vegetable broth
  • 1 package of tortellini filled with cheese

  • 1 large sweet onion, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon of cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon of curry
  • 1 teaspoon of ginger, ground
  • 1 tablespoon of sriracha sauce
  • Lemon juice – 1 lemon

How to make it?

Just place all the ingredients into the slow cooker and add all spices and herbs. Leave parsley and lemon juice out as you will use fresh parsley for garnish and lemon juice for adding extra sour flavor when serving.

  • 1 tablespoon of rosemary
  • 3 tbsp of fennel seeds
  • 2 tbsp of balsamic vinegar
  • Water – 2 cups
  • 1 can of vegetable broth

 

How to make it?

Place everything in the slow cooker along with veggie broth and water and add herbs and seeds at the end before you cover the cooker. Cook for 4-6 hours and add balsamic vinegar once the stew is done.

What you need?

  • 500 g lean turkey meat, ground
  • 2 cans of tomato sauce
  • 1 can of red kidney beans
  • 2 cups of corn
  • 2 tablespoons onion, powdered
  • 2 tablespoons of seasoning for tacos
  • 4 cups of water
  • Cheese
  • Green onions
  • Greek yogurt
  • Cilantro
  • Tacos

 

How to make it?

Before you put all the ingredients together into your slow cooker, you will need to work on frying the turkey for 5-10 minutes while you are breaking it in pieces. What you need?

  • 500 g chicken drumsticks
  • 5 slices of ginger, fresh
  • 4 cloves of garlic, chopped
  • 3 green onions, chopped
  • 2 cilantro strings, fresh
  • 500 g mushrooms, sliced
  • 500 g Napa cabbage, chopped
  • 300 g tofu, cut in cubes
  • 8 cups of water

How to make it?

Simply put all the ingredients into the slow cooker except from mushrooms, tofu and Napa cabbage. Once the chicken is done after 6 to 8 hours, remove the chicken and veggies and keep the broth. Put mushrooms, tofu and Napa cabbage for 20 minutes. Once the cabbage, tofu and mushrooms are done, put the veggies and chicken drumsticks back to the pot and let it heat, consuming the juices.

  • 2 cans of coconut milk
  • 2 tablespoons of curry paste
  • 1 can of chicken broth or vegetable broth for vegetarian version without meat
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoons of peanut butter
  • 1 kg of chicken breasts, skinned and boneless and cut into small cubes
  • 1 onion, diced
  • 1 red bell pepper, seeded and diced
  • 1 tablespoon of crushed fresh ginger
  • 1 cup of peas (frozen is fine)
  • 1 tablespoon of lemon juice (lime can work as well)
  • Salt

 

How to make it?

Just put all the ingredients into the slow cooker, first mixing peanut butter with coconut milk, ginger and broth then adding chicken, spices and veggies. Let it cook for 4-4, 5 hours. Add that extra hour in case peas are not done. Use lime or lemon juice when serving and eat with rice on the side.
