Ryan groaned as he pushed up and off of Henry and the sofa. He wasted no time as he started to strip.

Henry was a little caught off guard. He hadn’t expect Ryan to move that fast; but he was about to catch up.  He leapt up off the sofa and began pulling off his clothes.

They watched each other undress, both smiling; Ryan finished first.

“Be right back,” Ryan grinned and ran off toward the bedroom.

Henry laughed at Ryan and laughed at himself. He was standing there buck naked just waiting. He had no idea how they were going to do this. Sure he had images in his head but he didn’t know if they could work. What about Ryan’s knee?

“What’s wrong,” Ryan asked when he came back in. Henry hadn’t realized he probably looked apprehensive, thinking about the damage they could cause to Ryan’s knee.

“Your knee? I mean, is this okay?”

“Oh yeah, I swear its fine. I know what I can handle and what I can’t.” Ryan winked at him and tossed a condom and lube at him.

Henry caught them. They were really going to do this.

Ryan walked over to the silks. Eyes trained on Henry the entire time.

“Go sit in old Smokey,” Ryan pointed Henry in the direction of the recliner.

“Excuse me?” Henry asked him, perplexed.

“Yeah, that’s old Smokey. He was my grandfather’s chair. He used to sit in and smoke his pipe. My grandmother gave it that name. After he died, I really wanted to keep that chair,” Ryan told him, with a smile.

Henry learned something new about Ryan and it made his heart skip a beat.

“Go sit!” Ryan ordered, plucking Henry from his sentimental reflection.

Henry did as he was told and sat down, still holding the items in his hands and naked as the day he was born. Ryan leaned over to the window sill and fiddled with the iPod that was resting on the Bose dock there. Seconds later the sounds of
Saving Abel’s Addicted
were pumping through the room. Henry felt it low in his gut.

“Watch,” was all Ryan said. Then he walked back over in front of the silks.

Ryan grabbed onto the bottom of the fabric and began to pull himself up like a spider monkey. On the second pull, fabric wrapped around one of his ankles. Then he pulled again, he was moving his feet around in a flailing motion. Then within seconds, both were strategically wrapped in the silk and up one of his calves. He held on to the silk with one hand and let the other fall out by his side. Their eyes locked and he winked at Henry, then let go and let himself fall backwards. It startled Henry, expecting Ryan to hit the floor despite having just seen him wrap his feet up in the material. There were the big floor pillows spread around under him but Henry still panicked for a few heartbeats. The silk was hanging behind Ryan. He arched his back and grabbed hold of it in both hands, pulling himself up the fabric as far as he could in that position before letting go again. He was only hanging there for a second or two before he bent his body in half and grabbed hold of the silk from between his legs and rose back up. He held on, looking like he was sliding down a fireman's pole, while he untangled his feet. With that one calf still wrapped he stretched up a bit and began separating the two pieces of fabric.

Henry was in awe of him, he moved with such easy grace. Henry noticed the smile on his face and the concentration. His smile though, it lit up the room, he looked so happy; Henry wanted to make him that happy, to be able to put that kind of smile on his face.

Once the material was separated, Ryan held one piece in each hand then used one foot to wrap material around the other. Holding onto that piece, he leaned forward and grabbed onto the unused fabric, the other was partially around his thigh. He shook out the unused fabric, pulled himself back to a standing position and wrapped it over the other piece and his midsection. He let himself fall toward the other side and repeated this move, wrapping himself up more. Then he let himself fall back and he looked over at Henry. Henry watched as Ryan outstretched his arms, totally naked, hanging upside down, one leg wrapped in silk pointing toward the ceiling, the other pointing toward Henry. He looked extraordinary. Ryan crooked a finger to Henry in a come here gesture, Henry got up and went to him without hesitation. Ryan pulled himself up and unwrapped then re-wrapped in a different way. Now when Henry was standing in front of him he had one leg pointed toward the floor and one bent all the way behind him and up toward the ceiling.

Jesus how the hell did he do that?

Ryan leaned forward and kissed him,” Back up for a sec.”

Henry did. Then Ryan started moving around again and within a minute he was in a full split, his ankles wrapped up.

“Get yourself ready,” Ryan said with a wink.

Henry didn’t need an explanation, he did as he was told, eagerly. When he looked back, Ryan had maneuvered himself to where he had silk wrapped around his torso and thighs and was almost in a sitting position but still at eye level with Henry.

Henry walked up to him, “You’re amazing, you know that?”

Ryan blushed and leaned in for a kiss. “Get behind me,” he told Henry.

“Yeah?” Henry asked surprised.

“Yeah, get me ready too,” Ryan said with a husky voice.

Henry walked behind him. He had put on the condom and spread some lube over it. Now he squeezed some into his hand and then dropped the bottle to the pillows below. He remembered just then that Ryan hadn’t done this before and it sent a chill up his spine. He wrapped one arm around Ryan’s chest and pulled him back against him. His other hand, the one with the lube all over it, moved down between Ryan’s thighs.

Ryan groaned as soon as Henry’s hand made contact. Henry stroked him several times before slipping a finger inside him. Ryan arched his back letting his head fall to Henry’s shoulder. Henry could see that he had his eyes closed and that he was biting the corner of his lip. Henry wanted to take his time, but Ryan had other ideas.  It wasn’t long before he was urging Henry on.

“Don’t make me wait any longer,” he rasped.

Henry pulled his hand away. Then bent his knees and with one arm still wrapped around Ryan’s chest he pulled him up a bit. Ryan bent his legs back and around the tops of Henry’s thighs. Henry used his free hand to line himself up and push in. They both let out a deep long groan.

“Fuck,” Henry said in a guttural tone; standing motionless.

“Move,” Ryan pleaded.

Henry wasn’t sure how comfortable Ryan was in that position but it felt so good that he wanted to draw it out as long as possible. Ryan bucked back a little and Henry took the cue and started to move. He snaked his other arm around Ryan’s middle, feeling the silk between his fingers, Ryan’s taut muscles beneath the fabric, the smell of sweat, the glow of the candlelight. The music changed to something R&B, Henry didn’t know who it was and it didn’t matter.

They didn’t talk, just moved, Henry standing behind Ryan, thrusting up into him. Ryan’s legs around Henry’s thighs, one hand holding the fabric, the other reached up and around Henry’s neck, holding them together. Henry pulled an arm out of the lock he had on Ryan’s chest and dropped it down to Ryan’s groin. He took Ryan in hand, his flesh hot and hard. Henry began to stroke him and soon found a rhythm to match his own thrusting. They lasted several lengthy minutes more before Ryan was crying out, chest heaving. Henry released him and picked up his pace, Ryan moaned long and low with every lunge. He wrapped Ryan up tightly with both arms as he came, biting down on his shoulder with a muffled grunt.

Chapter 21

T
HE NEXT morning when Ryan woke up Henry was already gone. Reaching over to the bedside table he looked at his phone. Ten forty-two a.m. He had a new text message from Henry, when he opened it he smiled.

Henry:
I really hated to leave this morning. Last night was amazing, you’re amazing. Xo

When he had asked Henry to come over last night he hadn’t expected the evening to end the way it did. With them wrapped around each other on the pillows in the corner of his living room.

Pillows that he would need to bring to the dry cleaners as soon as possible.

The thought made Ryan snicker.

He had assumed they would end things last night or that if they did keep seeing each other that things would cool off considerably. When he thought that Henry might go, Ryan had panicked; that was not something he’d anticipated. Ryan was usually really sensible when it came to matters of the heart, even if it hurt; when something had run its course that was it. But the idea of Henry leaving scared the shit out of him. He made promises he wasn’t sure that he could keep, but he would try like hell to. He wanted to be someone that Henry was proud to be with and with that thought in mind, he replied to the message.

Ryan: Last night was amazeballs!! I wish u could have stayed :-(  I’m up for a repeat                        performance whenever u r! But first I need to take my pillows to the dry cleaners, hehe ;-)

xoxoxo

Ryan lay in bed, holding the phone up while he waited for a response. It didn’t take long.

Henry: I will be happy to pay that dry cleaning bill. :-) What are you up to today?

Ryan: Laying around thinking about u

Henry: Wish I could join you

Ryan: You want to lie around thinking about you too!?!?

Henry: haha smart ass! Btw I made a sandwich and took a brownie for work! Gotta go text u later xoxo

Ryan: Awwww I should have got up and made u a lunch later hot stuff! xoxoxo

With that Ryan got up, plugged his phone in to charge and went to take a shower. Fifteen minutes later he was standing in his kitchen in a pair of boxer briefs waiting for his coffee to brew when something occurred to him.

Oh No. Oh Shit. Oh Fuck!

He turned around and pulled the fridge door open, inside was a plastic container. He pulled it out and opened it. Inside had been a full tray of brownies and sure enough one was cut out.

Oh fuck, this was bad, really, really bad.

How the fuck was he going to tell Henry that he had a pot brownie with his lunch after their conversation last night. This was going to fuck things up phenomenally. He needed to call him right now! It was still early he probably hadn’t eaten lunch yet.

Hopefully
.

Ryan dashed off into the bedroom to retrieve his phone. Calling Henry as he went back into the kitchen and began to pace.

Voice mail. S
hit!

Ryan left a message: Henry, it’s me. Throw that brownie away its…uhhh, no good. Don’t eat it seriously. Please let me know that you got this message. Bye.

Still not satisfied, Ryan decided to send him a text message as well.

Ryan:
Check your voice mail! Don’t eat that brownie. Get back to me ASAP.

He was freaking out, but he had done all he could do, for the moment. Placing the phone on the counter Ryan made himself a cup of coffee. He contemplated having a brownie himself then thought better of it and went looking for his cigarettes.

At around four-thirty that afternoon, Ryan got a text from Henry. He had tried to stay calm all day, rationalizing that Henry must have gotten the message and that he was just too busy to get back to him. Surely if he had eaten it, Ryan would have heard from him before now.  Ryan tried to keep busy throughout the day. He had no idea what turn this situation would take so he wasn’t able to prepare himself for it. He’d relaxed somewhat and now his blood pressure spiked again. All the message said was, “on my way over.”

Yeah, he was fucked.

He hadn’t said in his messages that it was a pot brownie, but Henry wasn’t stupid either.  Ryan lit a cigarette and waited

Two cigarettes and ten minutes later the door buzzed, Ryan pressed the button to let him in and then went to pull the door open.

~~~~~
To say that Henry was livid when he stepped off the elevator would have been an understatement. The first few hours after he ate the brownie he was quite calm despite being mad, the laced dessert had been seriously potent.
Imagine that.
But once the high started to wear off, his anger began to brew. Now the closer he came to Ryan’s door, the more pissed off he got. After he sent that last text to Ryan, he‘d had a jam packed day. He had eaten lunch at his desk early because he knew he wouldn’t get a chance later. He had been in a staff meeting when he realized something wasn’t right. He began to feel slightly dazed and the urge to lean back in his chair and relax was immense. His cheeks were tingling. Despite having been high many times in his youth, Henry hadn’t smoked in ages and at first, he didn’t realize that he was actually high because it just didn’t occur to him that it was the brownie. The brownie that just sat, chilling on his desk before he ate it, in front of his coworkers, other probation officers.
It wasn’t long after that that he began to realize what was happening. He had pulled his phone out and read Ryan’s text before checking his voice mail. That was all the confirmation that he needed. He was too pissed, too busy, and too hard pressed to keep his concentration, to address this during work hours. He had been paranoid all afternoon that people could see it in his eyes.
When he stepped off the elevator Ryan was standing in his doorway, he had the good sense to look serious and apologetic, Henry thought. He walked past him and into the apartment without a word. He put his helmet and jacket on the counter, turned to Ryan and crossed his arms over his chest.
“Did you eat it?” Ryan said cautiously.
Jesus fucking Christ!
Yes, I ate it, Ryan. I ate a Goddamn pot brownie,” Henry said trying to control his temper.
Ryan winced, “Fuck, I’m so sorry,” he looked at Henry. He gave him his best puppy caught knocking over the plant look.
“Do you know what kind of shit I could get into,” Henry said flatly, “How would I explain that one?”
“So, you didn’t get in trouble, that’s good. I really am sorry. I brought them home with me, put them in the fridge and forgot all about them. It never occurred to me that you would take one.”
“Well, I learned my lesson. I probably shouldn’t eat or drink anything when I’m here.”
“Don’t be ridiculous Henry.”
“I’m ridiculous?” Henry pointed a finger at his own chest, looking appalled.
“That’s not what I meant. This was an accident, and the coffee… well, we dealt with that didn’t we?”
Henry didn’t respond. He was still pissed but not enough to walk away; he knew that without a doubt. If it hadn’t happened to him, he might even think it was kind of funny but no one else needed to know that.
“So am I forgiven? Can we get to the make-up sex now?” Ryan asked quirking an eyebrow and biting his lip.
“I could have been totally screwed, Ryan. I have weed in my system right now. Do you know how risky that is?” Henry scolded.
“I know, so let me make it up to you,” Ryan asked as he stalked toward him, “You’re Catholic right? Isn’t it like the rule that you get down on your knees to ask for forgiveness? I can try that,” Ryan said as he knelt down in front of Henry.
Henry could probably be persuaded to be generous in forgiveness.
