When they arrive back. in the War Room
the phones were ringing like crazy. Japan is under more and more
fire amongst the Sons. Despite all of the craziness, Kato, and Song
both became a Corporal in their class. and Frederick gotta go to
Sniper class. He is doing this to honor his fellow soldier that was
killed in battle as for he was also a sniper as well. “So, Adriean
kick the bucket?” Sandra repeated what Kato told her. “It’s not
that I hated the guy, it’s a shame that he had to go. It is a shame
that anyone has to go to be more honest. However he was just
getting known around here. I was thinking of all the pranks that
Katrina and I could use on him after the ball.” Kato did not said a
word as she just look empty on her glass of wine. “Hey Kato. Don’t
stare too much into that glass. If you do that then you will never
be able to see anything else but an empty glass. Kato stare at the
glass longer and longer until she finally decided to put the glass
away and lay her head down and just cry. Sandra starts to rub on
kato’s back letting her know that everything is going to be
ok.

Mission 12 Bomb disposal.

A few weeks had past with no sign of
anymore Sons attack, until the Council gave the commander a special
mission. “I need your best soldiers out on this one Commander.
There has been reports of several bombs in a local graveyard of all
places. The location and the reasoning for this is unknown. However
I need you to send your best soldiers to disarm the bombs to
prevent this from happening. We will be in touch
Commander.”

In the female barracks, Sara was
playing with Sandra, Katrina, Mandisa and Estela. “I feel that we
are not letting the rest of the soldiers in here to experience the
joy of this little girl. “Mandisa told everyone.

“
That’s ok.” Estela said
back. “We don’t want any prince charming to come by and snatch our
princess do we?” Sara only blush in embarrassment. when Estela’s
pager went off. “Sounds like the king needs his knights in shining
armor real quick.”

Sandra, Mandisa and Katrina’s pager all
went off as well. “That’s odd.” Sandra told everyone.

“
All of us?” Madnisa said
back.

Katrina got up to stretch a bit. “Would
you rather have men handle a delicate mission? They will only mess
it up.”

“
Don't worry sweetheart will
will be back.” Estela told Sara.

“
Who is going to look after
me when all of you are gone?” Sara ask with concern.

“
Me?” Kato ask with a
surprise when Sandra presented Sara with Kato.

“
The rest of the girls are
going on a mission of some kind and we want you to look over our
little princess. Think you can do that?”

“
I, I don't really know hot
to raise a child.”

“
You were a little girl
once. Just keep her company.” Sandra gave Sara a little hug then
slightly shove Sara to Kato. “Don’t worry Sara, we will return
before you know it.” As Sara goes inside kato’s room Sandra also
had some more words to say to Kato. “Ever since this girl had came
to B.A.S.E, our of our lives had changed Kato. She gives Mandisa
hope, something to fight for. She reminds Estela of a child that
she never had. Even Katrina. The silent sniper enjoys seeing her
around. So maybe, if Sara is around you, she could stop you from
becoming an alcoholic.”

In the War Room Katrina, Sandra,
Mandisa, Estela and Chavez all stood in attention as Commander told
them what the mission was. “As you can tell, this is a very
important mission. You five are the best of the best. Your mission
is to go to this location over here.” He said as he points at the
map. “It’s going to be a graveyard, there has been a report of
several bombs in the location. Your job is to stop the bombs from
going off, no matter the cost.” Each of the five soldiers all said
the same three words in sync. “Sir yes sir!” Then walk away to the
aircraft.

“
Why would the sons be
planting bombs in a graveyard?” Chavez ask in question. “I know
that their attacks are kind of unorthodox, but a graveyard of all
places?”

“
Don’t ask.” Katrina said
back.

“
I know as a soldier we
should not ask questions and just shoot where they tell us to shoot
but that does not mean that we still don’t ask questions. If we
could understand why the Sons are trying to blow up a graveyard,
then perhaps we could plan our next attack better.”

“
That’s for the Commander
and all of those people to figure out, not us.” Said
Katrina.

Chavez just let out a long sigh. “I
wonder if the Commander knows what is really going on in the
battlefield sometimes.”

“
If the commander did not
thought that we could not handle this mission then h would not have
sent us.”

“
I guess but.” Chavez was
lost at words as he just kept to himself for the rest of the
flight.

As they land sandra quickly found the
bomb ran up to it and shut it off. “That was kind of easy.” Sandra
just told everyone.

“
How did you do it?” Mandisa
ask.

“
I just pulled all the wires
out at once.” Sandra told the rest of the group with a fake
laughter.

The rest of the group shook their heads
no. Then Katrina broke the silence. “If that is what it takes then
let’s do that then. Try not to hit the bomb or else this will all
be for nothing.”

Mandisa runs ahead, found two more
bombs in the distance. “There is a lot of them, how powerful are
these bombs?” Mandisa quickly rushes to one of the bombs and shuts
it off the same way that Sandra did. Just ripping out all of the
wires.

Chavez ran up ahead a bit more and shut
off the next bomb. “This should be easy, everyone is gone so let’s
hurry up and go home!” Chavez runs ahead, spots three men and
another bomb. “You have got to be fucking me without a condom right
now.”

“
What did you just say? I
speak country , and I have been told I speak funny but what was
that?” estela ask Chavez.

“
I see three men and another
bomb. These guys are going to stay here till the bomb goes off it
looks like.”

Katrina took aim from across the yard,
killed a target with headshot. Sandra who saw the kill just laugh.
“That is why no man had ever fuck with Alpha.”

Mandisa runs ahead. Shot at one target.
She hurt her target but she did not kill her target. Chavez ends up
getting poison with some poison gas. “WHY THE FUCK DO WE NOT WEAR
MASK!” The enemy that Mandisa hit ran inside the building, Chavez
fire at it but miss. “Can’t see for crap.” Sandra ran next to
Chavez, fire at target but miss. Chavez killed target that Sandra
miss with rocket. “Let’s get these bombs defuse before they blow
up.” Chavez told everyone. The enemy that Madnisa hit, who ran into
the building ran back out. Everyone fire at the enemy and it
died.

Mandisa runs forward, spots another
bomb. “More fucking bombs!” She said out loud as she turns off the
one that she was next to. Mandisa rush to another bomb and found
another guy. ”These guys really are nuts!”

Sandra rush to the bomb near the
building found two more men. “Got two more over here!” One enemy
rush inside the building, Estela fire at the target, hit but not
kill, the target threw some poison gas at Estela. “I guess we
should be thankful that they are not throwing real grenades!”
Estela said as she wheeze for a breath of air.

Both Mandisa and Sandra disarm their
bombs. “Bombs disarm everyone, only a few more to go.” Sandra told
everyone.

Mandisa was able to find the main
source of power. “You have got to be kidding me?” She told herself.
“Everyone! I found the main power source, approaching my target
now!” Mandisa rapid fire on the target inside the building, but
miss.

Sandra rush near Mandisa, took out a
target that was sneaking around the coroner that was going to kill
Mandisa. “You owe me a beer after that.” She told Mandisa with a
smile and a sigh of relief.

Estela moves around, toss a grenade
inside the building, killing her target. Sandra turn off the last
bomb. “That’s it everyone, lets kill the last of these assholes and
get back home!” Katerina runs to cover inside the building, got
shot at, but is doing fine . One target shot at Sandra, miss. Two
more appear Sandra quickly kill one of them. Mandisa fire at
another target, hit once but miss second time. Katerina runs around
inside the building, found the target that shot at her, she fires
back with pistol, hit but only did light damage. Mandisa got shot
at, not doing ok, Estela gets shot at and dies. “ESTELA!” Katrina
calls out.

Everyone knew that Estela was killed in
battle when they heard katrina over all of the gunfire that was
going on. As they want to mourn for their loss they had to keep on
going. Sandra kill the target that Shot at Mandisa. Katarina kill
target that shot at her and killed Estela. “Is it over?” Mandisa
ask out of breath.

“
Yea.” Sandra told her as
she was also out of breath.

Chavez, who finish coughing from the
poison look around, see what was going on. “Is Estela going to,
make it?” He mumble under his breath as he walk over to her. He
almost look away as he saw all the bullets that went into her. “She
went down fighting.”

“
How are we going to tell
Sara?” Mandisa ask Sandra.

When they all got back home, Sandra,
Chavez, and katerina all became a lieutenant. mandisa was put in
Sic-mad for five days. Chavez for two and Katarina was put in
Sic-mad for three days. Sandra was the only one who did not had to
go to the hospital. She was in the bar with Kato drinking a beer.
“You told me to stop drinking, here you are taking a drink.” Kato
told her.

“
I guess, one drink after a
heavy mission is all right.”

“
Did Estela not make it
back?”

“
No, she did not.” Sandra
told her as she took a sip. “The hard part is not that a fellow
soldier of mine died, its the fact that somehow I am going to have
to tell Sara that estla won’t be returning to the castle anymore.”
Sandra let out a long sigh. “How was she, anyway?”

“
She was great. Always had a
smile on her face. She is very playful, I can see why you and the
others don’t share her around.” Kato told her as she also took a
sip of beer. “You don;t have to tell her you know.”

“
What do you
mean?”

“
Just tell her that estela
has to go to another place to fight off more bad guys or something.
You place her in a fantasy, with castles, dragons, and knights. Let
Estela be the lone knight, that has to go to another castle to
slave a dragon.”

“
Think that, the plan will
be that simple?”

“
Simple or not, it’s the
only option you have, if you don’t want to tell her that she is
dead. I say at least this, if she does figure out, then she will be
able to cope with the pain a little bit less.”

“
I guess.”

Sandra and Kato was with Sara, as they
sat next to her to tell Sara the bad news. “Hey Sara, I got some
exciting news for you.” Sandra said with the best fake smile that
she got. “The king had order Estela to go to another castle to
protect the princess overthere.”

“
Will she be back?” Sara ask
with a curious face.

Sandra look up at Kato who only gave
her a slight nod. “We don’t know if she will come back. As she
left, she wanted me to tell you that she is going to be thinking
about you every single day.”

As Sandra finish, Sara bought the lie.
“Ok.” She said at last. “I can’t wait to see Estela again. She told
me that I was a daughter that she could never have.” She said as
she gave Sandra a hug.

Mission 13 Unlucky

The following day, it was a little bit
quiet around the bas as everyone was moming the lost of estela.
While Sara had no idea what really happen to her. Fredrick was
talking with David about what happen on the previous mission.
“Bombs?” Fredrick said with a sigh. “I think the Sons are just
getting desperate now.” Frederick look around and could see Sara
playing around happily. “Poor girl, living in a fantasy, thinking
that everything is going to be all right.”

David quickly interrupts Frederick.
“Everything is going to be all right!” He pause before continuing.
“Isint it?”

Frederick let out a long sigh. “I don’t
know Kelly, I just don’t know anymore.” Both Frederick and David's
pagers goes off. “Well, looks like it is our turn now.”

As Frederick and David made it to the
plane, there they saw Jordan , Song and a new recruit. “Morning
Jordan, Song.” Fredrick says with a smile.

“
Morning Fredrik!” Both
Jordan and the new recruit said at the same time.

Frederick was confused at what was
going on when the two of them starts to laugh. Then Jordan explain
what was going on. “Meet Jake Jordan. He is going to be my little
apprentice. Don’t worry about him though, he is learning from the
best.” Jordan says with a smile.

“
If by the best you mean
being the worst shot in all B.A.S.E and getting drunk, then welcome
to the crew.” Fredrick says with a smile.

“
That was only one time!”
Jordan shouts out. “You still remember that?”
