Give your eyes the nutritional version of a rest.

It’s a sign that the blood system is overheated, so drink nettle tea and eat seaweed twice weekly to help to cool the system down.

Eat plenty of berries.

Drink cooling vegetable juices of cucumber and celery.

The herbal remedy kudzu is a traditional remedy for bloodshot eyes. Drink 10 drops in water twice daily.

Bilberry capsules or powder can help, but you need to take them for a three-month period to help to improve the strength of the blood vessel linings.
