HERBS AND SUPPLEMENTS
Take aloe vera juice before each meal to aid digestion and bowel function.
Drink alfalfa tea. This is extremely
nourishing and is particularly useful when digestion has been compromised.
Drink blood-nourishing yellow dock tea.
Slippery elm powder can help to soothe the gut.
Take protein-digesting enzymes with meals. Papein, from papayas, has been found to help in the digesting of wheat gluten once you have had gluten out of your system for at least six months.
