As I look over my list, I see that I started out with the big losses that I know from therapy and moved on to more ''feelingful" writing as I went. When we write lists, we can be free to change the language as we go; I started off by starting each line with the word
loss
and ended up with some comments written straight out as I thought them. If you write out a list of losses, let the words come out any way they want to.
